TV Show: THE STARTER WIFE Episode: “Premiere” (S01E01) Synopsis: Hollywood wife Molly Kagen’s life of luxury comes tumbling down when her husband, Kenny, asks for a divorce. (Source: hulu.com) Why we like it: I love pretty much all of USA Network shows, and even though The Starter Wife was supposed to be a miniseries, they are now turning it into a full blown TV show, because it did so well. I honestly was surprised by how good of a show it was. The writing was great, mixing drama and humor perfectly and... [Read the full story]

“If anything goes wrong, Desmond Hume will be my constant.” TV Show: Lost Episode: “The Constant” (S04E05) Character: Daniel Faraday Why we like it: This was one of the best moments of season 4, it was small but so meaningful. It also sets up Daniel as a character. This line will be remembered for a long time and that’s why we love it. Read More →

Oh Fridays, I love Fridays! And yes, the fact that we get a new episode of MOONLIGHT has something to do with it. Plus this week is the episode that they were shooting during our set visit and I am curious to see how it comes out on screen. I cannot believe there are only two episodes left including this one. Make sure you enjoy them to the fullest because after that it’s going to be a few months without Mick… I don’t even want to think about what that’s going to be like. Can’t wait for... I don’t really have much to say about last night’s SMALLVILLE except that I cannot wait for the finale. This week’s episode was ok I guess, but I don’t really feel like too many exciting things happened. I honestly miss Lana. And even though I do love evil Lex, I just feel they sort of extended his search for the Traveler for too many episodes. Which brings me to next week’s episode, or the finale, where from what I could tell of the preview, it looks like there will be a showdown between... [Read the full story]

Another one gets cut this week on AMERICAN IDOL, and as most people predicted, it was Jason Castro’s time to say goodbye. I can’t say that I am sad to see him go, it was about time, and like I always say, someone’s gotta leave. At this point I am rooting for David Cook, but like I mentioned to one of my friends, it might be better for David Archuleta to win, because I think the winner’s song might fit him better. I just can’t see David Cook singing some cheesy, uninspiring song. I think the... [Read the full story]

In tonight’s new episode of MY NAME IS EARL, “Girl Earl,” Billie and Earl begin their new relationship. I am really happy to see more of Alyssa Milano, I think she just fits so well as Earl’s new girlfriend. This is a great addition to the cast and I hope she sticks around for a while. And now that she has her own list, there is a whole new sea of things to make up for. Let’s find out how it turns out tonight. Don’t forget to watch My Name Is Earl “Girl Earl” tonight, May... Last week’s episode of DOCTOR WHO was really good. It was really emotional and smart, just like we love them. Tonight the Doctor and Donna are heading towards a new adventure on the Planet of Ood, whom we have met in a previous season (can’t remember which one) of Doctor Who. I just adore the show and it’s just so much fun to watch. And if the season continues that way, it’s going to be a brilliant season! So don’t forget to watch Doctor Who “Planet of the Ood” tonight, May 9,... [Read the full story]

After a great season 2 premiere, THE TUDORS is back tonight with a whole new episode. As I mentioned previously, this show has absolutely blown my mind and I cannot get enough of it. The cast is brilliant, the characters are humanly twisted and the story keeps building and pulling you in. I look forward to Sunday nights just to watch another chapter in the life of Henry VIII. Don’t forget to watch The Tudors tonight, April 6, at pm on Showtime. For now check out more pictures for the second episode of the The Tudors... [Read the full story]

Continuing my series about how TV works in the UK and what makes it different to US TV. In Part One, Part Two and Part Three, I charted the development of UK broadcast TV up the point where we had five analogue broadcast channels: BBC One; BBC Two; ITV; Channel 4; and Channel 5. Part Four - multi-channel TV, from the 1990s until now. Until the early 1990s, four channels of analogue broadcast TV, was pretty much all you got. Because of the density of the population, there was never much demand for cable TV, as people could... [Read the full story]
