FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS - Theme Song
January 20, 2007
There has been a lot of controversy about which song is Friday Night Lights‘ Theme Song. To help you in your quest, here is my official answer:
Friday Night Lights‘ Theme Song is performed by Explosions In The Sky and is composed by W.G. Snuffy Walden, however it hasn’t been released yet.
There has been a lot of controversy about this, some people say that Friday Night Lights‘ Theme Song is “Your Hand in Mine” (which is actually the Theme of the movie Friday Night Lights, and was also featured on the TV show) or that it is “Remember Me as a Time of Day”, both by Explosions In The Sky.
You guys can make up your own minds by listening to both songs and comparing theme to theme song of Friday Night Lights on the video above.

THE OC - “California” song remix
January 7, 2007
If you, like me, are wondering who was singing the remix of the “California” song on “The Chrismukk-huh” episode of The OC (instead of the “California” we all love and know from Phantom Planet), here is the answer: Mates of State is the artist you are looking for.
The song was actually released on The O.C. Mix 6 - Covering Our Tracks CD.

Comeback Week - Tonight: GHOST WHISPERER and LAW AND ORDER
January 5, 2007
After a huge comeback night last night, tonight is a little quieter. Only two shows on my list come back: Ghost Whisperer at 8pm on CBS and Law and Order at 10pm on NBC.
I always feel like Friday is a pretty quiet night. There aren’t enough good shows on, and it’s one of the only nights I could actually stay up and follow the shows that are on. Now with Battlestar Galactica moved to Sunday 10pm, there is just nothing to be excited about Friday nights (except that it’s the week-end of course!).
Although Ghost Whisperer is pretty relaxing, I think that I will be catching up on The OC tonight (yes I know shame on me for not watching it last night, but my eyes just wouldn’t stay open, had to go to bed
). I still can’t believe The OC got canceled, it seems so unreal to me, no more Ryan, Seth, Summer, and our latest addition Taylor!
Well, at least enjoy your Friday night and week-end and use that time to catch up on anything you might have missed this week, I know I will.

THE OC cancelled!
January 4, 2007
For those of you who haven’t heard already, FOX announced that it has decided to cancel The OC. The last episode will air on February 22nd at its regular 9pm time. FOX has decided to promote the last remaining episodes of the show as a “countdown” to the finale.
Tonight FOX will air the first episode of The OC countdown.
As for me, I have been a loyal fan to The OC since its start in August 2003. I will definitely miss Ryan, Seth and Summer. I can’t help but feel that killing Marissa’s character (even I wasn’t a big fan of hers), was the death sentence of The OC.
Even though The OC wasn’t my favorite show, I could always find comfort in it when another episode of CSI just wouldn’t do the trick. It is a really sad day for me. I just feel that its “rival”, One Tree Hill (I say rival because both shows started at the same time and I always felt that there was a competition between the two, for me at least) will just not be able to give me the same satisfaction The OC could. By the way, as a side note, I just wanted to put it out there that I decided that I would stop watching One Tree Hill if the CW didn’t renew Veronica Mars for a fourth season. I mean come on the show is getting very popular on iTunes!
Anyway, let’s hope that the cast of The OC finds new horizons to go to. I wouldn’t mind another Junebug starring Ben McKenzie
Well, at least we still have a few weeks to enjoy The OC while it’s still here. So don’t forget to tune in tonight!

Comeback Week - Tonight: FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS and MEDIUM
January 3, 2007
It starts again, all your favorite shows are back starting this week. More and more shows will be back on your TV as we go along. Starting tonight with one of my new favorite show: Friday Night Lights at 8pm on NBC and for those lucky people who have HDTV you will be able to appreciate the fullness that is Friday Night Lights.
Tonight might also be the night where Matt and Julie finally get the blessing of the beloved father and coach Eric Taylor….yeah I know, I wish. They have to stretch this one for as long as they can, it gives the show conflict.
How about Lyla and Riggins? Am I the only one who gets the feeling that the sexual tension and relationship between those two is just beginning?
At 10 pm tune in on NBC for Medium. After taking a short break Medium is back tonight. What will Allison discover next? I have to say that although this is not of my favorite shows, it always surprises me, I can count the times when I figured out the ending before it was revealed. Seriously, this show is one of the best in its category.
Although tonight is a pretty light night, don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for more shows than you can handle. With the return of My Name Is Earl, Ugly Betty, The OC, CSI, Scrubs, Shark and ER, your DVR is bound to be full.
