ROBIN HOOD coming to BBC America

I don’t know about you guys, but I am usually a fan of shows coming from England. I seems like they have a different feel to them, which I love. I almost feel sometimes they are cooler than some of the same kind of shows we have in the US (aka Spooks). If you too enjoy those shows, brace yourself because a new one comes your way: ROBIN HOOD. Before you start rolling your eyes, I just would like to say that I have already seen a few episodes from Robin Hood, and I have to say that I too was apprehensive but they delivered. With Robin Hood, they were able to take a cheesy concept and make it cool. Don’t take my word for it, see for yourself, tune into BBC America on Saturday March 3rd at 9pm to watch the premiere of this great show, Robin Hood.

Finally, after a very, very, very long break, Jericho is back with new episodes. Can I say how glad I am Jericho is back. I really did miss it a lot. Tonight’s episode shows where everyone was before the bombs exploded. Ok I need to go and actually watch the episode now.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA gets a fourth season

Sci-Fi finally announced on Tuesday that it was giving Battlestar Galactica a fourth season. The fourth season of Battlestar Galactica is scheduled to air on January 2008. Production for the episodes will start this summer.
As for me, I have to say that the premiere date for the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica seems so far, especially when you think that we just celebrated the new year for 2007. But hey, who am I to complain. I am just happy that we will get to see more of Battlestar Galactica!

For those of you who are not yet fans of the new great show Friday Night Lights, I am glad to announce that you can become more familiar with Friday Night Lights now that it’s on iTunes.
The even better news is that they offer the first episode for free!!!! Yes, it’s true, so if you want to give Friday Night Lights a try, you can just download the free first episode and make up your mind. I am almost sure that you will want to purchase the whole season pass after that. I personally cannot get enough of Friday Night Lights and will be purchasing my season pass tonight!

JERICHO returns with new episodes

If you, like me, are a fan of Jericho, you probably can’t wait until the new episodes finally start again. You will be happy to know that you only have to wait a couple of weeks until you will be reunited with Jake (Skeet Ulrich) and all the inhabitants of our favorite town, Jericho. Yes, it’s true, finally Jericho is back after the longest break ever. On Wednesday February 14th, CBS will air a recap episode of Jericho covering the first 11 episodes. It is entitled “Return to Jericho”.
As you have guessed, the week after that, Jericho will be back on our screens with new episodes!
So everybody write down that date in your calendar, because on Wednesday February 21st 2007 at 8pm on CBS, JERICHO is BACK!!!!

Catching up on SMALLVILLE

For those of you wondering how my “quest” for catching up with the whole 5 seasons of Smallville is doing (see old post), well I am glad to say that I finished the first two seasons of Smallville and am now starting season 3. All I can say is: “Smallville, where have you been all my life?”. This show is great, I mean it does have some cheesy moments but the characters are really appealing. I cannot wait to finish all 5 seasons of Smallville to catch up and finally get to the Justice League! (by the way, how cool is that?!)
Until the next update, all of you fans of Smallville out there, enjoy Smallville’s new episodes on Thursday on the CW.
