MIAMI INK - Trying a new reality show

I guess this summer I am in the mood to try new things. I decided to watch the season premiere of MIAMI INK on TLC to see if I liked it. One of my friends used to watch the show once in a while, but I never really did.
After watching the first episode, I have to say I was quite surprised by Miami Ink. I am usually very selective about the reality shows I watch. Most of the ones on TV are uninteresting to me, but Miami Ink was very enjoyable. It is in no way my favorite reality show, but as far as reality shows go, it's up there.
Miami Ink is about a tattoo parlor and the people working there. I personally don't have any tattoos (mostly because I never found a drawing that I would like to keep for the rest of my life,... and I'm a wuss) but just looking at some of the tattoos they did on the show amazed me. It looks so pretty, I think those tattoos were the nicest I have ever seen.
The artists that work there are: Ami James (the boss), Chris Garver, Chris Nunez, Darren Brass, and Yojiro 'Yoji' Harada. This season they are trying to find a new artist to replace Kat who was fired at the end of last season. Check out the video below to see her dramatic departure.
In addition to seeing them work, you also get to see the story of their clients. Seriously, it's more interesting than it sounds.
Check out some videos from Miami Ink (including webisodes) and see if you like it.
I haven't watch episode two yet, but I set it on my DVR. So if you have some time on Tuesday nights and just want to watch a fun relaxing show tune in to TLC at 10pm (9pm for a repeat of the previous week), and watch Miami Ink.
Finally for the funny story, after watching the episode I went to the gym and there was a girl there who had tattoos all over her body (of course I noticed since I had just watched Miami Ink), but the one that I thought was the coolest was one of "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas", I want one like that!

Ok where do I start...I would like some one who is great at doing portraits & pics of faces & especially animals. I know that one of you guys can do it & make it look dope! My story is this....I had a bulldog/Rotty mix pup that I loved very much & grew up since she was 8 weeks old. I had to do one of the hardest things in my life yesterday & put my dog Shyenne down. Words can't describe the loss to me. I got here from Oklahoma & drove 30 hours to CT. when she was a little pup. I play drums in a kick ass metal band called Dead By Wednesday on Jamey Hatebreed's record label Stillborn & tour all over the country & I brought Shy everywhere we went. She is probably more known & popular & has seen more then most people. It broke my heart to hold her head as she stared into my eyes almost telling me that it was ok to let her go. What got me was seeing her lifeless body afterwards. I am a pretty big guy with a mohawk, tattoos, rocker type looking, and still up until now, I cried like a baby!!!! It's crazy how much you don't realize what a big part of your life they become when you wake up one morning to do the routine & then they are gone forever. She was like a family member, in fact, I think I like dogs better then humans! I had to put her down before she suffered. Shyenne had a slow kidney failure & for a few days, she would not move or eat at all & kept falling down every time I got her up to go to the bathroom. I just hope that she is running free and happy with the great spirit now. At the same time, my grandmother of 91 years of age & is also not doing well, plus my girl of 8 years left because of the rock-n-roll life style that I lead & I just found out that my sister is hooked on junk, so as you can tell I got a lot of crap flying around. Right now, I am just focusing on work, my career & music BUT....I would LOVE to get a huge picture of my dog Shyenne on my thigh or back & doing it on the Miami Ink show would be rad & an honor!! I have a lot of friends in both the tattoo & music biz! Please lemme know & get back to me if you get this! Thanks a million! Even if I have to fly myself out to CA. to get it, I would do it just to get on the show if need be. I am not shy nor a stranger to TV either & am not afraid of the camera or people. I've been on TV before in the past & have performed live on TV & on stage in concert for many years.
Thanks a million! Hope to hear from someone soon. Peace..
Sincerely,
OPUS
