Fall 2007 TV Preview: REAPER on CW

Reaper - Starts September 25th on CW at 9pm
Plot: For the first 20 years of his life, Sam wondered why his parents went so easy on him. Whether it was school, sports or career choices, Sam's mom and dad always let him get by with the least possible effort. As a result, Sam skipped college, took a dead-end job at the local Work Bench home improvement store and now wastes endless hours playing video games. Everything in his slacker world changed the day Sam turned 21 and discovered the ungodly reason his parents let him slide: they sold his soul to the devil before he was even born.
Daemon's TV Review: A must-see! Even if you have never watched the CW in your life (well, the CW hasn't been on that long, but think WB before that...), you need to watch Reaper. It's different from what you would expect to find on the CW. Very funny and smart. Plus Kevin Smith directed the first episode and we know how much I love him. I'm definitely tuning in for Reaper.

"Funny" and "smart" are actually what I expect to see on the CW, because I've seen "Supernatural" and "Veronica Mars."
I've also seen the pilot of "Reaper," and frankly, I have to wonder what demographics they think will tune into this one in droves.
Well, "Veronica Mars" was really on UPN first so I don't really count it as a CW show (to me CW is another WB and I don't really count UPN).
I don't really watch "Supernatural" so can't really comment on that.
But I think "Reaper" is going to appeal to a large audience, it's just a really good show and I think it might even make some people that don't watch the CW tune in.
Oh and I didn't mean that the shows on the CW weren't funny and smart, especially since I am a big fan of "Smallville," I guess it just came out that way, but I meant that "Reaper" was funny and smart.
