REAPER - Gallery Photos
REAPER is one of my favorite new TV shows this fall. When I first heard about it, I wasn't convinced, but after seeing the pilot at Comic Con this year, Reaper became one of my favorites. I call the show (after someone made that comment at Comic Con), "the show that will make people watch the CW." It is different from what you expect to find on the CW, and I think has great potential.
Check out some Gallery Photos of Reaper.
Story: For the first 20 years of his life, Sam wondered why his parents went so easy on him. Whether it was school, sports or career choices, Sam's mom and dad always let him get by with the least possible effort. As a result, Sam skipped college, took a dead-end job at the local Work Bench home improvement store and now wastes endless hours playing video games. Everything in his slacker world changed the day Sam turned 21 and discovered the ungodly reason his parents let him slide: they sold his soul to the devil before he was even born.

Crap! I had a whole reply and lost it because I forgot to do my math homework (the spam protection). It's the Devil isn't it... Anyway, what I said was that I like these photos. And that I didn't know you were at Comic Con! I don't like "Reaper" as much as you do but I do think it'll bring in good numbers. In fact, I expect it to open with better ratings than "Gossip Girl" did. I think it will appeal to a lot of males and that may be just the boost that the CW needs to help pick up their numbers.
Oh sorry Rae! LOL. I know the spam protection can be annoying but if it wasn't there I would get so much more spam...
Yes, I was at Comic Con (my first time
) it was fun but there was so many people! I haven't decided if I could take going another year. If I do go, I will let you know though
I really like "Reaper" and I agree with you, I think it's going to do better than "Gossip Girl," just because it has a wider appeal. Only time will tell if we were right.
Don't be sorry. I'm the idiot who skipped over it to write my post and then forgot to go back (for the record, I'm doing that right now too, let's hope I remember to do 1 + 4 before I hit 'submit'!).
Ahh, not that I really *knew* you then but too bad we didn't know because a bunch of us had a TV bloggers dinner and it would have been fun to have had you there too! I do hear you about the number of people, though. As Thomas said, you need a team of people to do anything.
I'll be curious to see the premiere's ratings to see if it'll start proving us right, right away.
BTW, have you seen this "Moonlight" report? Be sure to read the whole series (though she's not finished with the series yet), she got to go visit the set.
Maybe next year at Comic Con or some other place, who knows?!
I haven't seen that "Moonlight" report, thanks for the link. I will definitely look into it.
i love reaper.
my mom produces it and i've met all of them and they're great people and ben is the coolest person ever!
