David - #10 CORONATION STREET

Coronation Street

Embarrasingly this has made it into my top 10. Maybe it is the fact that it has been on a minimum of three nights a week since time began, maybe it's the fact that it's about a Northern English City (Manchester) just 30 miles away from where I grew up (Liverpool), whatever the reason all's I know is that when I left England for the good old USofA I missed Coronation Street. Basically it is just about normal working class families, getting on with their lives with all the usual drama that goes. It is not reality TV, the show is made of all fictional characters.

Plot: The UK's longest-running TV soap, Coronation Street focuses on the everyday lives of working class people in Manchester, England.

Stay tuned!

We don't have "Coronation Street" in the US unfortunately, so I'm not sure where you could find this information.

  3. [...] on Only Fools and Horses, The Royle Family, Man vs Wild, The Mighty Boosh, Sharpe, Life on Mars and Coronation Street. Also, I won’t be talking about Extras as I’m sure you’re all familiar with it [...]

    Dear Coronation Street Crew.
I live in Victoria BC last night we watched coronation street as usual at the bottom of the screen we saw white writing stating-- Coronation Street would not be seen Thursday due to hockey.

The information stopped at hockey and gave not further information as to when it would be on again.
We just happen to be in today relaxing and my husband was flicking through channels and low and behold there was Coronation street on channel 2 Victoria station at 3:00pm,

We missed half an hour of the program.
We are from England and have watched it since the beginning. I was furious. With so many people and members of Coronation street I find this very inconcerate. How many people must have missed it. I want you to be considerate and let the public know when the show will be back on. I do not have time on a Sunday to watch it.

    Yours Sincerely
    Sheila Anderson
