First Look: ONE TREE HILL Season 5 - “4 Years, 6 Months, 2 Days” later

Check out the first pictures from the new season five of ONE TREE HILL.

It is a bold move for One Tree Hill to move about 5 years in the future, but it could be a smart one too if the storylines get more compelling.

From the looks of the pictures, Jamie is all grown up, although I cannot see any signs of Nathan. Haley alone in a bed… could that mean trouble?

It looks like Lucas became the cool uncle we always knew he would be.

I’m not sure yet if I am excited about this change, but I am hoping it’s a step up from last season of One Tree Hill. Like I mentioned before, I will give the first episode a chance and if it’s really, really good, and only if it’s really good will I keep watching.

One Tree Hill season 5 premiere January 8th with a two-hour episode starting at 8pm on The CW.

Episode Description: “4 Years, 6 Months, 2 Days” - Four years after the season four finale, Tree Hill is a new place. Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) is a struggling writer who is about to embark on a new coaching career with Skills (Antwon Tanner). Peyton (Hilarie Burton) is at the beginning of a budding music venture, while Brooke’s (Sophia Bush) fashion line is at a crossroads. Meanwhile, Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) are young parents trying to find their way. Much has changed in four years, but in many ways, the journey is just beginning.

    Unfortunately I don’t think The CW will air these two episodes again anytime soon, but since there are only 12 episodes of One Tree Hill scheduled to air so far, they might air them again after they run out of episodes.

    i love oth.
    as lame as this sounds,
    watching an episode always makes my day better.
    i’ve watched every episode about two times.
    i’ve bought all seasons.
    i really hope mark schwahn continues with more seasons.

    What century were the writers born? When there are shows like October Road matching up the overweight girl with the Football Hero, etc., One Tree Hill is still showing it’s old world views on age in relationships.

    Why is it so cool that Brooke Davis hook up with an older guy when Mouth hooked up with an older woman it was a really bad thing?

    The older guy is cool, good looking and responsible. The older woman is insecure, slutty, bitter, competitive. when Brooke finds out about this situation she is pretty much grossed out about it. Does she not remember that she will some day be there?

    I am not saying that I support such relationships, but with shows like Ugly Betty-even the nerdy girl is attractive to certain hotties. Isn’t there enough pressure on Women today?

    I think one of the writers were dissed by an older woman. Bitter!!!!

    well for people in the uk we do not recieve cw.
    and its a shame because we have to wait months for it too air in the uk.
    one tree hill season 4 is aired every weekday on e4.
    season 5 has passed which used to be on a monday night in september.
    i have looked up and season 6 is to air on febuary 12th on e4.
    even though it is already being aired in the states.
