SUPERNATURAL - Quest Over, up to date with Season 3

SUPERNATURAL - Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester in “A Very Supernatural Christmas”

It's official, I am finally up to date with SUPERNATURAL. I just watched the last episode aired, "A Very Supernatural Christmas," right in time for Christmas.

First I would like to say that I am a new fan of the show. Second, I absolutely recommend it especially now that there isn't much to watch on TV. Take this time to rent season one and two, you will spend a fun time with the Winchester brothers, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) I already got three people into it.

The thing with Supernatural is that it gets better and better throughout the seasons. Season one started out good and then got even better towards the end. I still have chills from the finale, my eyes were locked on the TV.

Then season 2 sealed my love for the show. The relationship between the brothers became more real and made you care even more about them. Plus the snappy lines get me every time. This leads me to my favorite episode of Supernatural, episode 15 "Tall Tales." The episode made me laugh so much I had to watch it a second time.

And then there is the whole supernatural aspect to seal the deal. I have to say though that sometimes Supernatural is a little too gore for me, that's why it's so great that the supernatural parts are counterbalanced by the comic relief from the brothers.

Finally, I think one of the strongest assets of Supernatural is that the quests the brother Winchesters are on come to an end eventually, we don't have three seasons of them chasing the same bad guy who miraculously evades them every time. Each season gives you some sort of closure while opening a new door for the next season ahead.

To conclude, Supernatural is definitely a worth-watching TV show. So why not give it a shot? I'm sold.

I will also from now on be covering Supernatural regularly when it returns on TV. Make sure you check back soon.

Stay tuned!

I did the same thing. Last summer I purchased seasons 1 and 2 and caught up with the series. I watch a lot of tv and sometimes it seems like the shows are similar. Supernatural is so different with the muscle cars, old classic rock, horror appropriate for 9pm on tv but enough to give a little jolt too. The thing that hooked me is the writing for the show is superb. The dialogue between the brothers is so true to life with the bickering, practical jokes etc. I could go on about their relationship and the roles they play in their family and the changing dynamics that are so realisticly developed over the years - but trust Daemon - this is the show that you should be catching up on during the strike.

I know Patty, you've been waiting for a while for me to be caught up with it. It's such a good show. And now that I am up to date, hopefully I can start talking more about it on a regular basis.

    And Merry Christmas too!

How much do I love this show? I finished watching S1 (for the 4th time!) Christmas eve and now am halfway through S2 (for the 3rd time) and almost called in sick to work because, come on Dean vs. work? I S5-7 of Buffy to rewatch but I just can't seem to tear myslef away from the Winchester boys.

I started watching Supernatural around the end of season three and I liked the episode I watched so much that I ran out and rented season 1&2. I watched the seasons non stop until I finished them. Now I'm so into season 4 but the show stopped for like a month and a half and the new episodes don't come back on until January 15th!!!!!(right now its december 6th) I'm so lost without the Winchester boys. (especially Sam <3) :)
