Drama on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
First we reported that Alicia Silverstone was joining the cast of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER as a love interest for Ted.
Then we reported that Britney Spears was going to join the show as well.
Guess what happened after that?
E! reports that, following the announcement that Britney Spears was going to appear on How I Met Your Mother, Alicia Silverstone announced that she was pulling out of the show because she was afraid that "the atmosphere would be "too chaotic" with Spears on the set." You have to give it up to Alicia Silverstone on this one. She's a smart cookie. Who would want to fight through a hundred paparazzi to go to work on a show that is not even yours?
To be honest, like Sandie, I was already disappointed to hear that Britney Spears was going to be on the show. I feel that the show is better than that.
Hopefully all this drama will not hurt the reputation of one of the best sitcoms out there.
