WISEGAL - TV movie on Lifetime

Don't want to go out on Saturday night? How about watching a TV movie on Lifetime?

WISEGAL premieres at 9pm on Saturday, March 15, on Lifetime.

Wisegal

Story: Young widow Patty Montanari took a page from the neighborhood wiseguys and turned to selling contraband cigarettes to support her two sons. Her business savvy and a romance with mobster Frank Russo, led Patty to managing a mob-owned nightclub. When the nightclub becomes a huge success and Patty becomes so trusted, the family Don convinces her to work for the organization transporting millions of dollars from Canada to the United States. Eventually Patty discovers Russo murdered his own son. With the seeming inevitability of her own sons becoming members of the Mafia, Patty does something that had never been done before.

The movie stars Alyssa Milano, Jason Gedrick and James Caan.

All I will say is that since Lifetime premiered its original show, Army Wives, it has been on my radar. Needless to say, I will be watching Wisegal over the week-end.

Check out the video below for previews and interviews from Wisegal.

So what do you think? Are you going to give Wisegal a chance?

Stay tuned!

Alyssa Milano is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood and is an excellent actress. I'd go to the moon to see her films. She is interesting, exciting, talented and deserves to be in the best films made. Wisegal (terrible title) may have been cliche but she and the cast were worth it, including the guy who plays the detective. This guy has the looks that belong in Hollywood. He seems to have it all. Also the guy who plays Frank, a looker also and a good actor. The film was interesting where the actors were concerned. And they did a great job. The material was a bit corny. I am going to watch it again.
