Here's the better news--Dr Who has 26 previous seasons to delve into.

I'd recommend starting with the 4th Doctor's run as a good point to jump in.

Sandie, ah good. I am glad that you watch all three series. I love Torchwood, too since I became aware of Captain Jack in the first DW series.

Oh yeah, I watched all three series and loved them all! And yes, I loved seeing Captain Jack and learning more about his past. It's a definite must if you love Torchwood.

They are both great shows, I can't get enough of them

Sandie, did you watch series one yet? if not, watch it because Captain Jack was in the last five episodes. You will enjoy the introduction of this character in Doctor Who series one.
