Why we like him: Desmond Hume is the most interesting and complex character of Lost. Between flashbacks and seeing the future, you never know what to expect next and I'm not even sure we have seen the extent of what Desmond can do. Desmond is a combination of everything that is great about Lost and that is why we like him.
What other show we see him in: Well with his ability to see the future, we think Desmond would make a great new hero in Heroes.
