Discuss NCIS “Agent Afloat” (Season 6 Episode 2)

September 30, 2008

(Michael Weatherly, left, Mark Harmon, center and Cote de Pablo, right)

So What Did You Think of NCIS “Agent Afloat”?

Let’s get the boring stuff out of the way. The investigation was kind of ordinary. Nothing gripping really. I know that it is the nature of the procedurals to have repetitive and somewhat predictable storylines but do they always have to cast a semi-recognizable actor to be the bad guy? It always makes me think: “Hmm, I have seen that actor in another show before. That must be the killer”

Now to the fun stuff.
One word for you all. TIVA.
TIVA (aka Tony and Ziva) is back. The dynamic duo is reunited for this investigation and you can tell that they are happy to see each other. Even their usual banter was more emotional than usual.

Overall, great NCIS episode and this is really because they brought Tony and Ziva back together. Do you think that this will be the season where they will take the leap or will they do like X-Files and milk this for as long as they can? To be honest, I am conflicted about the whole thing.

What do you think?

LIFE “Find Your Happy Place” And Keep It to Yourself (Season 2 Episode 1)

September 30, 2008

I wanted to write a quick something about NBC’s LIFE which premiered its second season tonight with an all new episode, “Find Your Happy Place.”

While I stopped watching the first season, because of lack of time, my mom told me that it was pretty good. So I decided to take a look at the second season premiere.

Even though I didn’t understand everything happening, I have to say that Damien Lewis is still pretty amazing and he really makes the show what it is.

And even though I wasn’t sure what the whole story was at the end of the episode when Charlie goes get the girl, I found myself reaching for the DVD remote to watch the second episode. That was such an amazing moment.

I am curious to hear what you fans of “Life” thought of tonight’s episode? Was it a good start for season 2?
