Discuss TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES “Automatic for the People” Episode

Sarah (Lena Headey, L), Derek (Brian Austin Green, C) and Cameron (Summer Glau, R)

So What Did You Think of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES “Automatic for the People” Episode?

I am sad to say that it was kind of a let down compared to last week's phenomenal season premiere.

This week's episode was low in actual revelations but high in stupid plot points. Indeed, Terminator TSCC is back to the same stupid "Let's send John to school" story line which I believe makes no sense whatsoever. I do not care that Sarah feels that he needs to stay grounded or some crap like that. The man will be the leader of the resistance, for crying out loud; High school will not help him get there. I would rather send him to karate class or something that is somewhat related to combat.

Do you guys agree? Was it just me? Am I being too harsh here? Let me know what you think.

Stay tuned!

I agree with the poster on one BIG point. It was not nearly as good as the opening, but to be honest i didnt actually expect it, so that alright for me.
Im pretty ok with the Idea of sending him to school. After all they are trying to stop skynet from ever being created. If they succed he'd better have more education than a Shirt that says:"My Mum saved the world from machine induced apocalypse and all i got was this lousy T-Shirt"
So i think the idea is decent.
What bothered me though was the Idea of.... hey John is horny... lets give him a girlfriend!
Way too random and way to superficial for my taste. Though the point of him stepping up to his mum was, well lets just say it was about time!
Still i'd have loved an appropriate romance build up.

Anyway i rather enjoyed that episode and i just loved the synchronized "Car accident!"

    cheers

Ok people, this episode wasent half that bad, in case you couldnt see it, john longs for a normal life. Hence the reason he took up with that chick and agreed to go to school. The kid is the future leader of the resistance, it wouldnt hurt for hiim to have atleast some kind of education. And the series has to have some sort of variety in structure besides fight scenes with terminators. And of course john is horny hes a teenage boy for shit sake, and its not like he jumped on her! haha You guys arent seeing the big picture, this is only one part of a great story which will be told in the episodes to come and hopefully many more seasons. Lets not be irrational and wait for the rest of the season and then we can start pointing fingers and bitchin on blogs.
