Last week's House episode "Not Cancer" introduced to Michael Weston who plays Lucas, a detective hired by House to do all the snooping he wants. He is back again in this week's episode "Adverse Events". I like the character a lot and I hope that they will give him a longer story arc so that we can see more of that interaction.

Episode Synopsis: "Adverse Events" - House and the team take on the case of a struggling artist (guest star Breckin Meyer) who has been painting bizarre portraits. His undiagnosed illness is distorting his perception, threatening to undermine his career, his relationships and everything else in his life. The team soon finds out that he hasn’t sold anything lately and is on three separate drug trials to pay the bills. House must unlock the puzzle of which drugs are causing which symptoms before it’s too late. Meanwhile, House continues to have private investigator Lucas Douglas (guest star Michael Weston) dig up dirt on everyone on his team, including Taub who is having trouble in his marriage.

Aww, House seems to be making friends with the PI guy!
Does anyone else see this PI guy being integral to house's development? I can see him screwing house over and house becoming evermore cynical about interpersonal relationships.
Episode 3 is the BEST Huddy / Cuddy episode ever!!!! Love how PI challenges House. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. i love Huddyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Hated the episode for the total lack of Wilson. The PI is just plain UGLY. He has one more episode and then he'll be gone. For those of you who liked him-tune into his spin-off

Thirteen spoils the show . I was hoping she would get fired or she dies! House fired her in one show but hired her back which I was dissappointed because she is a terrible actress and her Lesbion charactor as a Doctor does not cut it and is not normal in the medical profession . Why would you have someone like thirteen play the part of a Doctor that is not nature for the position! Really she does not do the show any justice!! You should of kept Amber and put thirteen in the bus crash . Amber was a much better actress what was wrong with her . Love the P.I. which brought some excitment into the show! Now let's get on with Firing Thirteen or let her die and bring back some good interesting medical mystery into the show !!!!
