It didn't do great but Chuck's ratings was higher than Gossip Girl (though GG's ratings is good for the CW) but they do not have the same target audience. I think the competition for chuck is Monday night football on ESPN and TSCC on fox (and Chuck had better ratings than this too). IMO it's the fact that it was not given more episodes after the strike hence the 9 month hiatus is what caused the ratings nosedive. Audience needs to be reminded that Chuck is back and its better than ever!
