Twilight TV Series Or Twilight Movie?
What sounds better? Twilight The Movie? Or Twilight The TV Series.
With Twilight The Movie coming out November 21, it became clear to me that since this will be a massive hit (and I am talking near- Harry Potter Levels here), what will be the right way to capitalize on its success?
The classic way that Studios capitalize on successful movie franchises is to do sequels, which will happen in this case. But what if, in addition to following up with movie sequels, they also did a Twilight TV series at the same time?
I can already hear some of you telling me that I should stop smoking crack (which by the way is a good point as crack is indeed whack according to Whitney Houston). However, I would urge you to hear me out on this. Here are the top three reasons why a Twilight TV series would be a great addition to the Twilight Movie sequels:
1) A Twilight TV series would allow to delve deeper into the Twilight World more than the Movie could. I envision the Twilight Series to be a sort of spin-off from the Twilight Movie storyline.
2) A Twilight TV series would be successful right off the bat because it would already have a built-in audience that is hungry for Twilight related storylines. Plus a Twilight TV series would allow the studio to still make money on the franchise while they keep working on the movie.
3) A Twilight TV series would be just wicked cool!
So what do you think? Would a Twilight The TV Series be a good idea? Or should we just stick to Twilight The Movie for now?

while this would be fabulous, what we love about Twilight has mostly been written.
TV show would be overkill and it would no longer be special.
I'm happy with the books playing out into movies.
i love the idea of a twilight tv series, obviously it would need a good teleplay written along with some serious casting selections! it doesnt matter that theres a movie & a book, the story has several strong characters that each have their own story lines - so much that its impossible to capture in a 2 hour movie and whats worse than movie sequels-no doubt a tv series is a great idea
im half way throught the twilight book so far and i think it's great, i cant wait to finish th book becasue by the time i have, the movie will be out, then i can watch it..but i would love to see a tv series, because i think the movie wont have as much going on in it because they cant fit everything into an hour and half.
MAN I WOULD DIE IF THEY COULD MAKE a TV SERIES!! LOL!!! ITS FABULOUS!!!! I wished they did that!! the movie actually was the first think i saw about Twilight and I am pretty intrested in it!! one day I will get the novel too and read!! when I get a chance to find of cours!! lol WEll I would said they should make one!!
i would love to see a tv series of twilight but they would have to keep the same cast otherwise it wouldn't be anywhere near as good. twilight tv series sounds like a great idea!!
I think a tv series would allow us to see a more lifelike connection between the characters. The books, and, in turn, the movies make Bella and Edwards romance seem like more of an addiction than true love. If we could see them doing more things together and see the romance blossom maybe it would be more lifelike. I know there are tons of fanfiction because of the MILLION things that could be shown between all of the characters.
I'm 27 and I know that I would tune in every week to watch the series as well as the millions of Twihards out there.
However, I do not see Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison lowering themselves to television after becoming overnight successes in the movie world. I'm sure they would find adequate replacements and if they could find more stars that haven't been nationally discovered that would make it even better!
I think a twilight tv series is a HORRIBLE idea! I LOVE everything about twilight I read the books the last 2 books in 2 days, i finished twilight within a few hours and the movie, soundtrack and anything else related to twilight is in my opinon AWESOME! But a tv series would ruin it for me. Does anybody remember the success of My Big Fat Greek Wedding and the downfall of the tv series? Tv series' never do as well as the movies and in my opinion usually make us forget why we liked the movie in the first place. If there ever is a twilight series, i won't be tuning in.
with a tv series there's endless possibility's i can see where other ppl are coming frm they do tend 2 ruin some good movies when they make it a series like blade for example it could be a success if they do it right
I agree 100% about a Twilight tv series. It definately would be a box office hit without question.. and since the story is already created, I wonder what's stopping them? I think they should get rid of some of the reality trash tv and fill in the slots with something much more creative such as Twilight. All I know is that if I had the sources & connections, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

I think we should keep the movies and the books because if you make a tv series of the movie no one will watch it because the movie of the books tells the whole store of the love of edward and bella. so know that they got the movie out and the new moon be out in november and then they are already casting for eclipes. so stay with the movies it's better anyways then a tv series cause everyone would want to watch a 2 hour movie then a hour series.
I think it would make an excellent TV series. I really hope that it gets picked up! I wasnt happy with the movie. Maybe Im a perfectionist but I want to see it exactly how it played out in my head. The books are perfect JUST the way they are.
Twilight the movie should be remade, with a good budget this time. I'm very curious how New Moon turns out. I hope that it stays closer to the book this time.
