SUPERNATURAL "Heaven and Hell" (Season 4 Episode 10) Discussion

What Did You Think of SUPERNATURAL "Heaven and Hell"?
First, I am going to speak about the one thing I didn't like about tonight's episode of Supernatural.
I had a huge issue with the character of Anna. I not only couldn't find it in me to like her, but I just couldn't believe her as an angel. I kind of expected her to act differently once she learned she was an angel. For crying out loud she's supposed to be Castiel and Uriel's boss! I just didn't buy that. Castiel and Uriel both have a presence and grace that Anna didn't have.
That part of the episode was kind of ruined for me.
I gotta say though, I was kind of siding with the Angels on that one. There is just something about Castiel, I'll do whatever he tells me to do. Does anybody else get that feeling?
And how much did I love Alastair! He is badass!!! The showdown between the angels and the demons, that was definitely a sight to see.
And of course, the thing that Supernatural has been doing really well this season is to have some really emotional ending, where some big information is revealed.
Once again, I have one word to say about Jensen Ackles' performance: Wow!
Not only that, we learned what happened to Dean in hell and I have to say, he lasted 30 years! I'm not sure I would have lasted even one year, or a month, or a week, or a day!! Wow!
That last scene totally made up for the part I didn't like. I keep repeating it, Supernatural is genius this season!
The only bad news is that Supernatural won't return until January 15th, I could cry.
How did you guys like tonight's episode? Was anyone convinced by Anna?

WOW! I was really worried that the episode would give us a dead Castiel.....thanks to Kripke and troop that we would be able to watch our favorite angel a few more times (hope a lot more times!!!).
I also can't figure out how the hell she was their BOSS!!! Anyway, I'm sure we r not watching her for the last time here!!!
Uriel is badass, but somehow I think to fight the badass company of Hell, u need to be a badass urself
Anna seemed needy, annoying to hell
Alastair is cool. Though sick in his actions and motions, he made the show with toughness, ruthless act and above all with the scene where we all thought that Castiel was done for!!!
Finally, I've just got an observation! The way Alastair was torturing Ruby (or her human body), cutting the gut open and removing things (!), ain't just a gauge bandage on ur tummy a bit too much to sustain that? Or do angels/demons have the power to heal human bodies as well? The scene of torturing was surreal, it gave a chill and I was really thinking what the Nazis had done during 2nd world war in Poland on Jews and the war victims. God help their souls!!!
And at the end, It's only Dean who could survive such pain for 30 years. Jensen is witty but his emotional acts are superb too. Jared can learn a lot from him. Anyway.....can't wait for January to watch the aftermath of the war. Will there be new allies for the boys.....namely Anna the Angel? What more is to come from Alastair? I just want Dean to bear him to death.....heh heh! Also, I want a showdown between Uriel & Dean, just an eyecandy where Dean would beat the hell out of Uriel......Eh......I've started daydreaming......cheers guys!!!
Did Anna steal Uriel's grace? Wouldn't that make Uriel human? When she took the glowing necklace I thought Castiel would have to take out Uriel. Lol, as soon as we found out that Anna was an Angel I knew she was going to make out with Dean, since Sam made out with a demon.
Actually the grace hanging around Uriel's neck was indeed Anna's grace, she just reclaimed what was her's.
I do wonder now if Anna will be back. I personally could do without her, but I guess we'll find out in January.
