LEGEND OF THE SEEKER - The Best Show You're Not Watching
LEGEND OF THE SEEKER is one of the best shows you're not watching. I have been obsessed by this show ever since I started watching it. I had a few episodes on my DVR and when I started watching them I couldn't stop. Even now I look forward to the new episodes every week.
Based on the book "Wizard's First Rule" by Terry Goodkind, follows Richard, the new Seeker destined to defeat the tyrant Darken Rahl, helped by the great Wizard Zedd and Kahlan, a Confessor.
Legend of the Seeker makes me think of Lord of the Rings without the big budget and big stars.
Legend of the Seeker is also very refreshing to watch, because it stars some pretty unknown actors (at least I didn't know any of them), which allows me to totally immerse myself in the story without thinking, oh look it's Kiefer Sutherland in a new show (nothing against Kiefer Sutherland, we all know I love 24 and have been a fan of his for years). That said, I don't think they will remain unknown for very long. Craig Horner (who plays Richard) and Bridget Regan (who plays Kahlan)'s performance have gotten me asking "why have I never seen these two before? They're great!" I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next. And the rest of the cast is equally great.
Point is, you should watch Legend of the Seeker. I have put up the first episode for you to watch below.

Seeker is not bad! We will see how great the show really is when we know what they will do in the season finale! So far their best episode has been "DENNA" which they did as close as possible to the book! So we'll see if the writers can come up with an awesome season finale by sticking to the book or coming up with something unique!!
The show is crap. I can't believe that any SOT reader would endorse this show. I understand that translating the words of Goodkind into film is difficult, but they completely deviated from the story line, plot, and worse - the personality traits that make these characters worth reading about.
If you read the books, you would know that the show verison is the biggest piece of BS out there. The writers of the show should be punished - Mord Sith style.
