The CW's REAPER Cancelled?

REAPER - Rick Gonzalez as Ben, Bret Harrison as Sam, and Tyler Labine as Bert "Sock"

Could REAPER be getting cancelled?

According to SCI FI Wire, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters the creators/executive producers of Reaper have signed a two-year deal with 20th Century Fox TV, which unfortunately doesn't bode well for the future of Reaper. In fact, this deal could very well mean the end of Reaper.

So what do you guys say? Are you sad Reaper might be cancelled or are you surprised it's still on the air in the first place?

Stay tuned!

Very, very sad. It's prospects were actually looking good for pickup lately.

While this doesn't look good for our show, you can still let the CW know you want Reaper to continue even without them.

Please don't stay silent. They'll never know how much you'd like Reaper to stay if you never tell them. Tom Spezialy's still around, and lots of shows do just fine even after a change in the guards.

Since snail mail campaigns work best, here's the address for Dawn Ostroff at the CW:

    Reaper
    Attn: Dawn Ostroff
    CW Network
    3300 W. Olive Avenue
    Burbank, CA 91505

Please consider taking a moment to send in a letter or postcard.

I hope it does not get canceled.

Look at what it is up against. American idol!!! Give me a break and take that into consideration.

    I hope Reaper sticks around!

I really love Reaper! Even tho the subject matter is gloomy, the shows are so funny and the "devil" is hysterical--Mr Classy. I hope they don't cancel it as it's refreshing and different and I look forward to it each week. But alas, they always cancel the good ones!

I'm so sick of reality TV. Reaper is one of the funniest shows on TV right now. Don't cancel it, move to a different night, move it to another channel, just don't kill it!!! NO MORE REALITY TV!!!!!!!!!

Super sad i look forward to it all week. I love sock he is so funny, and the devil is great i love the his personality. It's funny how they make you kinda like the devil, which should be wrong in theory, but you cant help to like the guy. I really hope they have a change of heart and keep it on.

Why in the name of everything that makes TV worth watching would CW cancel Reaper? There is a dearth of worthwhile programming on TV these days. It is the only show on that network I tune in for, and one of the few shows that I make time for each week. And you’re going to cancel it? Is everyone at CW insane? Please do not cancel Reaper!

Our whole family LOVES Reaper!!! I was in shock when I saw it on the list of shows that were being cancelled. It has great writing, wonderful cast and they've left the season with a great ending that makes you want to see what happens next. What the devil are they thinking???

Reaper is the best thing on British TV at the moment. I can't believe they cancelled it! Agree with the other comments - there is no escaping the curse of Reality TV.

Intelligent script, superb acting, and a creation of comic genius in the form of 'Sock'. Quite simply, this DESERVES to run and run!

I agree with everyone, this is a quality program with great characters that were really starting to develop, along with a cracking plot.
Sock is great but I think the real genius is the Devil himself, so twisted and smarmy with a superb orange fake tan!

As usual the brainless executives get it all horribly wrong and cancel something outstanding because of the all important ratings! Look what happened with Family Guy (the most cancelled show ever) sheer determination from the UK audience (mainly) brought that back maybe the same can happen here..................

    Gutted !!!!

Why oh Why have they cancelled this ?????!!!!!!!!

Near enough everyone i know watches this show.
I play rugby every week and near enough the whole team watches it and most of their friends too, so based on those people watching it i can assume that its fairly well liked as there are people from all walks of life at the club (builders, solicitors, bankers), the show had appeal, not wanting to insult other shows but there really is some Cr*p on TV these days, so how this gets the chop I will never understand.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Why?! Reaper is so good. Why is it cancelled?! Tv is just full of cheap to make reality tosh! Wife swap and big brother and DIY shows. Comedy genius is what is required more on tv and this show was so clever, well scripted and entertaining. Loved that it could be enjoyed as a series and also as a self contained episode, unlike heroes/lost etc which i initially loved and then got completely bored of them taking themselves too seriously and running around in circles. Reaper was great, feel-good tv. Sam and Sock, heck even Ben, i will miss you guys!!! :..( Am absolutely gutted.
