Does anyone know the song that played at the end of this episode? It goes "I won't leave you babe..." and I can't find anything about it anywhere :(

    thank you!

I can't find it anywhere either!! "keeping my foot out the door, doesn't work for me anymore" is another lyric...I've searched several snippets and still come up with nothing. Has anyone else had any luck or have any ideas for searches?

"i've been running, running running too fast, too long"
"I'm gonna soak you up and let it all in"

    Thanks,

I can't findit either. How sad that they would play a song and then not give ANY recognition to the artist so taht we might purchase the song. This is the foruth message I have read where people are asking abotu the song. I have googled, scanned the sight, sent e-mails and used my iPhone app to fid the song, NO LUCK.

It seems like the name MIGHT be something like " I wanna sit in this storm with you"

Here are some other lines, kind if in random order:

"It's been pouring for days, pouring for nights"
"Smearing all the words I write"

"Cause I can love you in the sunshine or rain"
"I won't leave you babe, cause we have a deal"
"Yes, we do, I wanna sit in thsi storm with you"

Please post if you know anything!

The singers name is Adrianne. I love her music! I've never heard that song though and I can't find any mention in her myspace or facebook of her being featured on this show. She works solo, and in 2 bands, Love Thieves and The Rescues. The Rescues recently had 2 songs featured on Grey's Anatomy so there's been a lot of recent discussion about that.

I can't believe how many people are looking for this same song! I just finished watching this episode of In Plain Sight that I recorded. When I heard this song, I loved it, so I wrote down as much as I could hear and no matter what I typed, I had absolutely no luck finding it online, until I found this site. Thank you!!!

I tried looking for Storm by Adrianne, but i still can not find anything... Are you sure this is the correct song?

This song is Storm by Adrianne, it's not one of her well known songs, but you can purchase it on iTunes. The lyrics are below, it is from the album Burn Me Up.

    STORM/Adrianne

Oh I don't know what you gonna do, with me,
Because everything I hid in my heart, I just set free,
And I don't wanna skate away- (don't think so anyway),
I just want to sit in this storm with you.
I just want to sit in this storm with you.

Well I've been runnin' runnin' runnin' to fast, for too long.
But you stop, stop me right in my tracks, 'cause I was wrong
Keepin my foot out the door, doesn't work for me anymore,
I just wanna sit in this storm with you.

And when it's pourin' for days, pourin' for nights,
    Smearin' all the words alright.
I won't leave you babe, I am with you babe,
We have a deal, yes we do.

I'm gonna soak you up and let it all in, one day,
I'm gonna shoot down all of the stars, I wish away,
'Cause I can love you from the sunshine blue,
    To the clouds greyer hue,
Just wanna to sit in this storm with you,
I just wanna to sit, in this storm, with you.

Who is the jazz artist that Marshall puts on the stero left by his witness. Marshall goes to his house, it's empty except for a stero with an album and the letter in the file drawer, left by his witness? I can't remember the jazz musicians name and I LOVE that song.

the song is "storm" by adrianne, & the correct lyrics are:

Oh Ida what are you gonna do with me?
‘Cause everything I had in my heart I just set free
I don’t wanna scare you away (I don’t think so anyway)
I just wanna sit in this storm with you
I just wanna sit in this storm with you

Well I’ve been running running running too fast for too long
But you stop stopped me right in my tracks ‘cause I was wrong
Keeping my foot out the door doesn’t work for me anymore
I just wanna sit in this storm with you

And when it’s pouring for days pouring for nights
Smearing all the words I write
    I won’t leave you babe
    I am with you babe
We have a deal, yes we do

I’m gonna soak you up and let it all in one day
I’m gonna shoot down all the stars and wish away

The song from the 6/14/06 ep is "When it Don't Come Easy" by the wonderful Patty Griffin. Here is a link to the song and its lyrics:

In a recent show, Marshall lets a guy blow himself and a bridge up. He was left a jazz album by the guy that blew himself up. Who was that jazz artist?

That Adrianne song is beautiful! I find that these days tv shows have the most amazing songs that thanks to iTunes and Youtube I can listen to all the time. But in this particular In Plain Sight show, what about the lines Mary ends the show with?! Phenomenal!
"Before the big bang, before time itself
    Before matter, energy, velocity
There existed a single immeasurable state
    Called yearning
    This is the special force
That on a day before there were days
    Obliterated nothing into everything
It's the unseen strings tying planets to stars
It's the maddening want we feel
From first breath to last light"
