It is hard to determine tone when reading interviews or online, etc so I appreciate you clarifying that. Using the term "crazed" when describing a fanbase usually never goes over well so it's nice to hear that wasn't his intention.

Just to be clear, that's not at all what he said. He was saying you have people who are really into Bill and Sookie and then you have people that are really into Eric. He is not saying either is good or bad but just that he is excited about all the fans of the show. He was just stating a fact and listing the different fans, as a good thing.

Trust me, after talking to him, I can tell you that he would never say something like that or even mean it. He loves the show and everything about it. I think it's harder to understand because you're not hearing how he's saying it.

So if you like Bill then you are normal, but if you prefer Eric then you're crazy? Nice. Sounds like someone needs to either read the books and find our why the Eric fans are so "crazed" or maybe you shouldn't call a large portion of your fanbase "crazed" to begin with.
