LEVERAGE "The Beantown Bailout Job" Review

LEVERAGE is back for a second season with its first episode "The Beantown Bailout Job" airing tomorrow Wednesday July 15, 2009 at 9/8c on TNT. I had a chance to watch an advance copy of the episode and here are my thoughts on it.

In "The Beantown Bailout Job", Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton) is back together with the gang in order to take down a local Irish mob who is after a banker trying to uncover a bank scam. Nate is actually pretty reluctant to rejoin the team unlike the others who are pretty gung ho on getting back together.

In this first episode of season 2, aside from the classic job that the team is taking on, the main theme revolves around Nate reuniting with the team. It was kind of amusing how the team kinda barges into his life and takes over his apartment. Every person on the team wants back in except him. Even cooky Parker (who is my favorite character btw) wants back in.

I have to admit that I have a soft spot for Leverage. It is one of those shows that can do no wrong in my eyes. Mainly because there is just so much humor in it that it is hard to really be critical about it. Overall this was a pretty cool episode. A lot of humor, a lot of action and whole lot of fun. Leverage Rules!
