I wasn't aware that it was a progamming thing, which prompts me to add that, at least here in Alaska, ABC has a tendency to run their programs over by several minutes. At the beginning of every season, I program my DVR to finish taping "X minutes" over (honestly, with ABC I start at 15), and then take note of how many minutes it really needs, and start reducing the time by 2 minutes until I closely match the ending with the time. (My DVR will cut off at 2 minutes past "on time" when I set it for 3, sometimes, and it really depends whether or not you want to catch the "next week on" trailers, because if you watch the network often enough, you'll catch them during other shows). I almost never end a program "On Time" unless I am also taping the next show airing on that network. Of course, when that later show gets unexpectedly cancelled, or something happens when it isn't airing and the first one still is, I tend to lose some endings! The main problem having to set my DVR to continue recording past 8 pm or 9 pm or whenever the program is supposed to end is that it ties up one channel, and if I have more than one show starting in the next hour I want to watch or tape, it isn't happening. This is why I wound up with two DVRs. That and the fact that I watch way too much TV. Hee. But if you weren't really disappointed that you forgot to record it, and didn't bother to go to ABC dot com to watch them online, then you might not be interested in doing that; I don't know 'cause I don't know you, and I'm not trying to say you should've done all that. :) @Sandi, thanks for the date and time, now I can mark it on my calendar! Think that late will be one for the bedroom DVR. Specially when it was clear they weren't going to do the right thing, and kill Violet. It is S3, not S4. Unless you divide S2 on a quality line. The good episodes on S2. What does it tell that the season finale isn't not even in the 5 highest rated episodes of the season? That major arc leading to it was crap.
