Show Summary: Set in the fictional small town of Tree Hill, NC, this teen-driven drama tells the story of two half brothers, who share a last name and nothing else. Brooding, blue-collar Lucas is a talented street-side basketball player, but his skills are appreciated only by his friends at the river court. Popular, affluent Nathan basks in the hero-worship of the town, as the star of his high school team. And both boys are the son of former college ball player, Dan Scott, whose long ago choice to abandon Lucas and his mother Karen, will haunt him long into his life with wife Deb, and their son Nathan. Until now, Dan has managed to keep his two sons far from each other. But the past and present collide sharply when Tree Hill's basketball coach recruits Lucas for his team, much to the chagrin of Nathan and Daddy Dan. And the siblings natural rivalry only intensifies when they set their sights on the same girl, Peyton Sawyer. The residue of the past lingers far into the future for the residents of Tree Hill, even as a new generation is rising. Tree Hill follows the lives and loves of these two brothers, their friends and their family as they navigate high school, marriage, and finally... adulthood.

wtf. it's not complete without lucas and peyton. the new characters can't replace them.
look what happened to the ratings of one tree hill it decreased even for the pilot episode of season 7 a lot of fans of lucas and peyton are dissapointed that they are not on the show.
i am so annoyed with this season not having lucas and peyton. yes i love all the other chareceters but they are not enought. i am seriously thinking of not watching it at all!!!!!!!!

well i'm thinking...i'm still going to watch this show beacuse it's great & i can't live without it beacause i'm crazy about one tree hill...BUT it's not going to be the same without lucas & peyton especially peyton beacuse she's my fav in OTH & hilarie burton is my fav actress soo..and i heard that peyton will make a few apperances in season 7 but i don't know if it's for real or just rumors! well i hope that she'll come back!! but it's great they added some new characters too like clayton & quinn they're great and that julian become a main character you know soo..

I just would like to say that this show is really pissing me off. I absolutely love One Tree Hill and I am shocked that chad and hilarie are not on the show anymore, I hope that they realize that it is not the same. yes i will still watch it, but its so not the same. I just want to know why they are not on the show, this is BULL!!
The show definately aint the same without lucas and peyton.It sucks.
I am so disappointed in the new season. I have watched every season and have not missed an episode. To remove two main characters and expect us to grow with a handful of new characters for one season is crazy. They could have at least brought back others for the main characters like Stephen Colletti, Deb, etc... The story line with Rachel and Dan is weird and sickening and not entertaining. They have surely lost me!!!
One Tree Hill is seriously going down the tubes...i mean...i love nathan, haley, brooke, mouth, and skills...but it is NOT the same...they NEED to bring Lucas and Peyton back!!!!!! Lucas is pretty much the main character...and Peyton is one of em tooo!!! and how can they take out one of the brothers in the show, when the whole story line in the beginning was pretty much about the relationship of nathan and lucas? it just doesnt make sense! whoever made the decision to kick them out, is really dumb cuz they ruined the show with that decision...hopefully they learned their lesson with the first couple of episodes being down in ratings...and bring Lucas and Peyton back!!!!!!!!!!

I think that they are making a big mistake by not having them in the show. I was so excited to see season 7 until I realized that they weren't in it. All the storylines are just weird this season.
jana kramer sucks as an actress. she needs to go to acting classes and get away from johnathan sheck. he is old enough to be her father. get her off that show PLEASE!!! snort, snort
I so agree!! Jana Kramer is a big fat zero! No talent, no personality and definitely not pretty. That big forehead, pig-like nose and irritating voice grates on my last nerve. GET RID OF HER!!!
I am enjoying this season. I'm a big fan of Haley and Nathan, but haley has been awesome so far this season.
the best characters are still in it. Peyton and Lucas' exciting story tines came to an end. and that came evident in parts of season 6! i cant wait for the new series! its going to be ace!! x
where the hell are lucas and payton ? season 6 ended with them in the hospital so they should be in season 7 why havent we seen them yet its like they just disapeared were are they CW, i will still watch it cuz i love it but bring abck lucas and payton

I think this show is awsome with or without peyton and lucas, they made the show good, but the new characters ( clay and quinn ) fit right in. I love the new episodes there really good. My favourite people in the whole show are Clay and Quinn. By the way Peyton and Lucas chose not to be on the show, the producers wouldnt pay them what they wanted so they didnt want to be on it. Good Show!
