HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER "Double Date" Review (Season 5 Episode 2)

So what did everyone think of tonight's episode of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER "Double Date"? Personally, I thought tonight's episode was a lot of fun. I loved lesbian Robin and mustache Marshall. Seeing Ted with a goatee was pretty hilarious as well. Hopefully they'll show us the remaining two doppelgangers somewhere down the line.

So even though Jen isn't a contender for the mom, I still enjoyed watching their date (both past and present). I honestly thought they were going to hit it off until the end, but their reasons made a lot of sense. Hopefully the next episode will provide some more clues on who the mom might be.

Lily and Marshall are such a cute couple. Was it creepy or sweet that Marshall had to first fantasize about Lily dying before he could fantasize about himself with another woman? I think it was oddly sweet. The best part is that he gave her chronic hiccups. I also loved at the end how stripper Lily and regular Lily swapped places, "will you give me monies for shopping"? LOL.

Robin obviously didn't enjoy being at the strip club, or Barney being there either. Could this cause a possible rift in their relationship? Do you think Robin was being too uptight or do you think Barney should give up his bachelor life style if he's going to be in a serious relationship? Personally, I can't picture either of them willing to give in. Although I think Barney is going to have to cool off on the "Origins of Chewbacca" exhibits if he wants his relationship with Robin to work.

So far I've really enjoyed this new season of How I Met Your Mother and feel that it's been holding up to the standard of past seasons. Talk to you next week!
