THE OFFICE "The Lover" Review (Season 6 Episode 6)

So what did you think of tonight's episode of THE OFFICE, "The Lover?"
It was Pam versus Michael on tonight's episode and things got heated. Pam quickly turned from the sweet woman we all know and love into a bratty teenager raging at her stepfather. Can you really blame her? Michael dating her mom has to be her worst nightmare come true. Pam's reaction to the news was priceless - the dawning realization on her face, the look of horror, and then all the screaming. Maybe she overreacted, but Michael should have known not to piss off a pregnant woman.
Poor Jim realized his honeymoon was over despite his best efforts to try to stop Michael. Jim's support of Pam and his attempt to cheer her up with hot chocolate and inside jokes was very sweet. Though "Frank and Beans" was kinda lame.
Last week Dwight was pretty stupid about the whole mafia thing, but this week he was back to being an evil genius. Jim smugly thought that he was pulling a prank on Dwight, but it was the other way around. I wonder where they are going with this? Will Dwight actually get some dirt on Jim?
Other fun stuff:
Why was Ryan wearing a fedora?
Jim and Pam's sudden affinity for cursing.
"Stop dating my mother!" "You know what? I'm going to start dating her even HARDER."
I really didn't like last week's episode so by comparison this one seemed so much better. Even though Pam was a little crazy tonight, I'm glad Jim and Pam are back because the show isn't the same without them. I guess we'll just have to keep watching to see where they go with Michael and Pam's mom. I wish we could have seen them together, but maybe they are saving that for a future episode.

I thought it was a hilarious episode. When Toby walks in on Michael and Jim's conversation in the kitchen was priceless:
Toby: Hey Jim
Jim: NOT NOW TOBY MY GOD!!
Toby: Oh Jesus.
Michael: Get the hell oughtta here, idiot!
Toby: What did I do
LOL
I thought this entire episode was great, much better than Mafia
season 6 of the office is just like fast food...its seems like a great idea when you're eating it, but when its over you're left feeling unsatisfied and
empty.
yes this episode was a step up from "mafia", which was a total filler episode and ultimately went nowhere in the end, but it still was nothing compared to previous seasons. I've been watching the season 4 and 5 again just to keep me from giving up on it all together.
sorry to be a downer but im sure a lot of people feel the same way.
