Jesse Plemons and Taylor Kitsch Will Not Return In Fifth Season of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Bad news for fans of Landy (played by Jesse Plemons) on FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, according to Michael Ausiello, he won’t be returning as a full-time character in the fifth and final season of the show.
In addition to Jesse Plemons, it was also announced that Taylor Kitsch aka Tim Riggins will not return either.
I can’t say that this comes as a big surprise, since a lot of other characters already left the show, but it doesn’t mean that it hurts any less. The only comfort is that each of them might make guest star appearances the same way some of the previous cast did in this fourth season, which just finished airing on DirecTV.
I personally was able to watch the entire fourth season on DirecTV, and loved it of course, but for those who weren’t, you’ll be happy to know that the fourth season will begin airing on NBC on April 30. So mark your calendars and make sure you enjoy the last episodes of Landry and Tim!
