That jump of 5 years forward was such a good idea. I wonder if they were influenced by One Tree Hill to do that.

REVIEW
This season of Desperate Housewives was pretty intense, especially since it started with the after effects of the tornado. I really enjoyed it and this season was definitely better than the last. We got to meet new characters like Katherine and her family. I wasn’t too sure about her addition to the group at first, but the character really grew on me I have to admit.
Let’s not forget our favorite housewives, who were as desperate as ever.
The finale also left us wondering how all the women got to where they are and definitely wanting for more, which we will be getting when season 5 premieres on September 28 at 9pm on ABC.
Season 4 was absolutely one of the best seasons of Desperate Housewives.
And of course, the DVD wouldn’t be complete without the Bonus Features. They are actually quite fun. We get a lot of behind the scenes stuff and bloopers (always love those).
Here is the detailed list:
- Getting Desperate - From Beginning To End - Go behind-the-scenes of “Desperate Housewives’” most elaborate and spectacular episode ever produced, “Something’s Coming”, with a rare behind-the-scenes look at how the producers created deadly tornado that devastated Wisteria Lane.” Viewers will see how an episode comes together every week - attending a casting session, see the girls get gussied up in wardrobe and makeup, hang out in the writers’ room and visit the set department, following a key “sweeps” episode from page to soundstage to screen.
- Couples Commentary – Get to know the real people behind the characters as onscreen couples Teri Hatcher and James Denton, Eva Longoria and Ricardo Chavira, Felicity Huffman and Doug Savant, and Marcia Cross and Kyle MacLachlan pair up to talk about favorite moments from Season Four.
- The Men of Wisteria Lane – Viewers know them as Carlos, Mike, Orson, Tom, Victor and Adam. The men reveal their own secrets, as they spend a night in one of Hollywood’s trendiest bowling establishments.
- Deleted Scenes (this also includes an alternate ending)
- Bloopers
Overall, I find that I rarely have anything negative to say about TV on DVDs because if I like the show, chances are I’m going to enjoy the DVD and Desperate Housewives is a great one to have if you are a fan of the show.
