ABC’s ELI STONE renewed for a second season

According to the Ausiello Report, ABC has just renewed ELI STONE for a second season.

You have no idea how happy this news makes me. I have really loved the first season of Eli Stone and would have been sad not to get more of Eli and his crazy ways back this Fall.

ELI STONE - Promo and Preview Clips

Even though episodes are running out, networks are still able to bring us new TV shows. One of them is ABC’s new TV show, ELI STONE.

Starring Jonny Lee Miller (Sick Boy in Trainspotting - that’s who he’ll always be for me) as a lawyer who thinks he might be a prophet, Eli Stone looks like it could be a fun new show to watch.

Did I mention that as part of his hallucinations, Eli Stone hears and sees George Michael perform “Faith”?

Eric calls it Ally McBeal with a man.

Eli Stone premieres January 31 (after the premiere of Lost) at 10 pm on ABC.

ELI STONE - Clip from ABC’s new show

Here is a preview for one of my most anticipated new show for Fall 2007: ELI STONE.

Plot reminder: Eli Stone is a lawyer who represents powerful clients. The thing is, Eli Stone could be a prophet. After experiencing a few hallucinations, Eli Stone tries to find the deeper meaning of life. However, when Eli discovers an aneurysm in his brain, he wonders if he is just sick or if he really is meant for more.

To be honest, when I first read the plot of Eli Stone, I really had my doubts… That was until I saw a clip from Eli Stone. Just the fact that Jonny Lee Miller is in the show is a plus, but Eli Stone actually looks really good. The clip below is hilarious, I mean using George Michael’s song “Faith” as a sign, well that’s just genius.
Just look at the clip and let me know what you think. I personally will be tuning in to Eli Stone to find out if he really is a prophet.

ELI STONE - New ABC pilot

I am usually a big fan of whatever comes out of ABC, so of course I was right away excited when I heard those names in the same sentence: Johnny Lee Miller, ABC, pilot, Greg Berlanti (Everwood creator).Yes all those are coming together to create a pilot called Eli Stone about a lawyer who finds out that he could be a prophet. Now this sounds like it could go either way, but knowing ABC, Eli Stone could be the next big hit on ABC. I guess we’ll just have to watch and see!
