The final season of LOST (Season 6) finally has a premiere date for Tuesday February 2, 2010. I am beyond excited about this, but at the same time so sad that it's all coming to an end.

ABC ANNOUNCES THE PREMIERE OF THE SIXTH AND FINAL SEASON OF "LOST," WITH A SPECIAL ALL-NIGHT EVENT ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2

ABC announces the premiere of the sixth and final season of "Lost," with a special all-night event on Tuesday, February 2. A recap special will kick off the night from 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET, followed by the much anticipated two-hour premiere from 9:00-11:00 p.m.

The series will then air in its regular time period - Tuesday nights from 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET - beginning the following week, on February 9.

LOST Season 6 Premiere Date Announced

Watch a teaser trailer of LOST Season 6 which returns for in 2010 on ABC. Since this is going to be the final season of Lost, I was expecting the teaser to show some juicy stuff just to wet our appetite. Well, after watching the teaser, I have to say that I was disappointed. There was literally nothing new but hey, at least the promo has the words "Final Season" in print. Yay. Show Summary: LOST - After Oceanic Air flight 815 tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a Pacific island, its survivors were forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. But they discovered that the island holds many secrets, including a mysterious smoke monster, polar bears, housing and hatches with electricity and hot & cold running water, a group of island residents known as "The Others," and a mysterious man named Jacob.

The survivors have also found signs of those who came to the island before them, including a 19th century sailing ship called The Black Rock, a downed Beechcraft plane from a failed drug run, the remains of an ancient statue, as well as bunkers belonging to the Dharma Initiative -- a group of scientific researchers who inhabited the island in the recent past.

They also encountered a freighter stationed off the island that some thought would lead to their rescue, but ultimately almost caused their extinction. The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against all odds if they want to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their journey, nothing is what it seems, and danger and mystery loom behind every corner, with even those they thought could be trusted turning against them. Even heroes have secrets.

LOST: The Complete Fifth Season On Blu-ray Includes Lost University Feature

The final Comic Con panel for LOST was the best TV panel that I have seen at Comic Con.

Carlton Cruse and Damon Lindelof really stepped it up this year and thoroughly entertained us for an hour (which really seemed like only 10 mn cos it was so much fun). This was by far one of the most entertaining TV panels that I have ever attended.

Here are a few tidbits that we gleaned from those "10 mn":

- Lost University: A new viral Marketing campaign designed for the fans of the show.

- Mysteries of the Universe - the Dharma initiative: A fun little video that the Lost folks put together that talks about the Dharma Initiative.

- A video recap of the latest Lost Season (with the song "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse) - that really made me remember how great that show is.

- A video compilation of fan videos which was awesome.

- Jeremy Davies (Faraday) will be on the show this new season.

- Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet) will be on the show this new season

- Everything that matters will be answered.

- We will learn about Richard Alpert's backstory.

- Season 6 will introduce a new effect. Before it was flash back, then flash forward - and this season is something new.

In addition, here are a few questions asked to the Lost panel:

Are you guys making it up as you go along?
Final scene is written Damon and Carlton each had their page and they are putting it in a box and it will be placed somewhere they don't know, and the night of finale, they will go on Jimmy Kimmel live to open the box and it will be the exact same thing we just saw.

Season 6 will be similar to season 1? What does it mean?
The biggest moment in the show for them, was when they were able to work with an end point in mind. So it means that there is a good chance we will see many characters that we haven't seen since the first season. The goal for them was for us to watch the season and not know what happens next.

Recommendations: One of the few TV on DVD that is a must for me. Family Guy is just a show that I can watch over and over again. I love it!

Everwood (The Complete Second Season)

Burn Notice (Season 2)

Synopsis: Covert intelligence operative Michael Westen has been punched, kicked, choked and shot. Now he's being burned, and someone's going to pay! When Michael receives a "burn notice," blacklisting him from the intelligence community and compromising his very identity, he must track down a faceless nemesis without getting himself killed in the process. Meanwhile, Michael is forced to double as a private investigator on the dangerous streets of Miami in order to survive.

New TV on DVD Releases for the Week of June 16 2009

Season 1 and 2 of LOST have been released on Blu-ray disc today, and if you're a fan of the show, this is a must.

Lost follows the survivor of the Oceanic Flight 815 as they struggle to stay alive on a mysterious Island. There they will be faced with many challenges and adventures each leading them closer to finding the truth about the Island.

I'll admit that I am not someone that usually buys TV shows on DVD (I'm more of a renter), but after being able to take a look at Season 1 & 2 of Lost on Blu-ray, I now realize two things, Lost is definitely a show worth owning and from now on Blu-ray is the best way to own and watch TV shows.

Why?

One words: SeasonPlay

What is it? Well, it is a way to create profiles on the Blu-ray TV show you're watching that allows the Blu-ray player to remember where you left off and play it back from the same spot when you continue watching. Now here is the cool part, you can have multiple profiles. So let's say you and your roommate want to watch the same show, but have different schedules, you can each create a profile and the Blu-ray player will track each of them separately. So you'll always be able to get back to the place you last watched the show. How cool is that?

Now that I got that off my chest, let's talk about all the other goodies that come with both Blu-ray discs.

Lost - Season 1

The season one Blu-ray disc of Lost of course includes the full first season. As I took the opportunity to re-watch the show from the beginning (which I hadn't done before). Well, I didn't know it was possible to fall in love with a show all over again, but that is exactly what happened. I remembered that Lost was good from the very beginning, but I think I had forgotten how good it really was. Starting with the pilot, which is so amazing, even today it still blows my mind, to the cliffhanger, everything about Lost is great. And then on top of that you add the beautiful quality that Blu-ray brings (seriously it's so great to watch a show on Blu-ray), it's a match made in heaven.

For those who haven't jumped on board with Lost, I think this is your chance. I promise you once you put that disc into your player, you won't be able to turn your TV off until the end.

In addition to all 25 episodes from season 1, we also get a lot of special features including some new unseen flashbacks, lots of fun behind-the-scene featurettes, audition tapes from the cast, commentaries and much more. I think fans are really going to enjoy them. I personally found the behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the pilot very interesting.

Lost - Season 2

Season 2 of Lost starts off right when season 1 ends with the opening of the hatch. Throughout the 24 episodes of the season, the survivors have to deal with the "Others" living on the Island. In addition, we learn a little bit about the DHARMA initiative and try to figure out the significance of the numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42).

The great thing about watching season 2 all over again is that I am reminded of all the little details I had forgotten. And the show once again leaves us on a pretty crazy cliffhanger.

But of course that's not all. The Blu-ray is also packed with tons of special features including never-before-seen flashbacks and lots of behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentaries, bloopers, and more.

Overall, the release of season 1 & 2 of Lost on Blu-ray is quite a treat that I think fans will appreciate and people that want to discover Lost will love. This is the first TV show on Blu-ray that I have watched and I am now officially hooked. It's like a whole new world of possibilities and since Lost is one of the best shows on television, it was just a perfect blend.

LOST Season 1 & 2 Blu-Ray Review

What did you think of tonight's season finale of LOST, "The Incident"?

I thought it was a freaking amazing way to end the season. I also think it's freaking lame that we have to wait almost a year to find out what happens! At least we finally got to meet Jacob, and I loved the twist about him having a nemesis (as all good stories have one). What was your take on Jacob? I think he's bad. Sure he was nice to Kate, Jack, Sawyer and Hurley in the past, but I got a weird vibe from him when he stood there and watched Nadia get hit by a car. It seemed like he was doing everything in his power to get them to all come back to the island, which makes him no better than Ben in my opinion.

On the flip side, this nemesis of his doesn't seem so classy either, parading around as John Locke and plotting murder. Also, here's a question. Alpert says he's the way he is because of Jacob. So if Jacob is dead, will Alpert start to age? The last thing we hear Jacob say is, "they're coming." Is he referring to the crew carrying around Locke in a container? For some reason the warning felt a bit more ominous to me than that. And what was all that about Lapidus being a "candidate:? Are these truly the good guys?

I thought the other story involving Jack and Sawyer was just as intense. Were they preventing future events from happening or laying the foundation for them? Let me just say though that there is no way Juliet could have survived that fall. She's no Gandalf, although I wouldn't be surprised if we find out she's alive next season. That's the only thing that makes me think that the whole bomb thing will work as Jack planned. I don't think they would have killed off Faraday, Sayid, Locke, and Juliet if there wasn't a way to undo it. As always, we'll all have our theories (which I hope you will share with me here), but at the end of the day we'll just have to wait and see what the final season reveals!

LOST "Follow the Leader" (Season 5 Episode 15)

[Editor's Note: Amie will be taking a couple of weeks off, and so I will be taking over for the Lost review and hopefully making her proud.]

What did you think of LOST "The Variable"?

This was Lost's 100th episode and it came with quite a few revelations especially about Daniel.

I have to start with Daniel being Widmore's son (and Penny's brother), wait what? Although, I have to say I kind of saw it coming when Widmore came to speak with Daniel and said that he was an old friend of his mom (an alarm in my head went off... this is Lost, there are no accidents).

But probably the craziest thing was that Daniel was shot by his own mom, who knew that was going to happen when she sent him back to the island... how messed up is that?! I really hope there is a bigger purpose to their plan.

By the way did anyone notice that the actress portraying Ellie in this episode (Alice Evans) is not the same one that portrayed her the first time we met her in "Jughead," that was Alexandra Krosney. A little confusing if you're not good with names.

But let's talk about Daniel's theory about variables. Everything having to do with time travel is so complex I'm almost hesitating talking about it, but I must. So if I understand this right, Daniel said "Whatever happened, happened and we can't change it." But in this episode he explained how he only looked at the constants and forgot to take into account the variables (or the people that came back to the island), which means they can after all change the future. However, there is a flaw in Daniel's theory: They cannot be variables if Daniel's mom knew that he was going to be there and that she would shoot him ("Whatever happened, happened"). They aren't variables, they are constants because they were already there and have already done that. Does any of this make sense? Now if you agree with me doesn't that mean that whatever Jack, Kate and co. want to do in next week's episode (after watching the promo) is bound to fail?

What I understand from that whole variable theory is that there really isn't any variable that would allow them to change what happened, so what Daniel originally told them was right, you can't change anything. Does anyone have any other thoughts on this?

Plus I have to ask, do the people from the island really want to change what happened to them? Would their life have been so much better without the plane crash? Kate was going to jail, Jack had a pretty pathetic life, Sawyer was a con artist who didn't care for anyone, Hurley was cursed, Sayid was looking for Nadia, and Sun and Jin were not happy together. Just something to think about.

Also I have to mention how sad it was to see Daniel talking with young Charlotte knowing what will happen to her.

And I have to admit, I'm really sad Daniel is dead, he was one of my favorite and he kind of seemed to be the only one who knew a little more about what was happening.

And to end I have to mention that Radzinsky finally had his suspicions confirmed. I wouldn't want to mess with him (wasn't he the one who wanted to shoot Sayid?) and I wonder what he's going to do to Sawyer now that he knows he's not LaFleur.

What did you guys think of Daniel's death at the hands of his own mother? Are you going to miss him? And should the gang try to change their plane crash?

LOST "The Variable" (Season 5 Episode 14)

What did you think of tonight’s episode of LOST, "Some Like It Hoth"?

How awesome have the conversations between Miles and Hurley been lately? I agree with Hurley, his ability to speak to the dead seems way better than Miles. I also liked learning more about Miles during his back story tonight. He's never been one of my favorite characters but he's started to grow on me (maybe it was the punk rock outfit). It's crazy that Dr. Chang is his father! He doesn't even seem weirded out by the fact that his mom and his 3 month old self are on the island as well. I guess if you can speak to the dead, nothing much can surprise you. He did seem to get a little emotional towards the end of the show. I hope they develop the relationship between him and Dr. Chang more.

Something that Naomi said was really interesting. She said in a flashback that there are "deceased individuals residing on the island." What the hell does that mean? There are plenty of dead people buried there, but I wouldn't say they are residing there. Was she saying that there are dead people living on the island? That would actually make sense. If so, what is the difference between ghosts like Christian that seem to come and go as they please and people like John Locke who was brought back to life? Are there different levels of ghostliness? Did the others have to bring young Ben back to life? Is he a ghost?

Does anyone have any good theories about the people in the van that kidnapped Miles? We know that they don't work for Widmore. I'm dying to know what lies beneath the shadow of the statue! Is it a code? Or maybe an entrance to some sort of hatch or temple? I noticed that Miles kidnappers were dressed all in black, and so was the guy in the body bag, and so was Faraday when he got off the sub. Are they all connected? I know if Hurley was here he'd make some sort of Darth Vader comparison. I love Hurley...

LOST "Some Like It Hoth" (Season 5 Episode 13)

Recently, Daemon's TV got the chance to talk with Eric Lange about not only his character on LOST, but also his career.

As most of you know by now, Eric Lange is one of the new addition to the cast of Lost. He plays the mysterious Radzinsky. For those of you who hadn't realized, Radzinsky has been mentioned a few times in Lost and holds the answer to quite a few secrets. For instance, Radzinsky is the one who created the blast door map that Locke found. He also edited the Swan Orientation film and placed the edited portions in a Bible in the Arrow. However, the biggest question remaining about him is why he ended up taking his own life during his time in the Swan with Kelvin Inman.

Now while Eric Lange doesn't have all the answers, it is still quite a treat to be able to hear from the person that portrays such an interesting character. And so without further ado, enjoy our interview with Eric Lange and don't forget to tune in this Wednesday and watch him on Lost.

Were you a fan of the show before getting the part?

Eric Lange: Oh, yeah. When it first started way back with the pilot I was hooked on the thing. I just thought that it was something that I hadn't seen on television before. The scope of it was so big and it was like watching a movie every week. Then sometime around the end of season two, I think, the mysteries and the lack of the solving of the mysteries got to me a bit and I bailed for a while. Then when I got this job I of course went and got the DVD's and watched three and four. They had a little – I don't know – middle of season three, beginning of season three I thought it dipped a bit, but it's just such a well made show. I'm a bit of a geek about it.

You're probably in one of the best seasons right now.

Eric Lange: It's fantastic. It's an incredible opportunity.

Can you talk a little bit about what's coming up for your character? I think your next episode is on April 15, is that correct?

Eric Lange: Exactly, yeah. Well, unfortunately ABC has me on a really tight little leash and they've given us some stuff, but it was for previous episodes and they haven't given me much more to be able to say about what's coming up. But obviously he's a bit of a mad scientist. He has some control issues and some anger management issues. He's a bit of an annoyance for the heroes there in 1977.

Can you tell us if how many more episode he'll be in?

Eric Lange: I'm every episode until the end of the season. Through to the finale. So there's more of him to come.

Have you already shot the finale and now know everything that's going to happen?

Eric Lange: Yeah. I know almost everything. There's some stuff that they try to keep secret from just about everybody except the people involved in it. But yes, we just finished the finale. I got back about – I don't know – a week and a half ago. They left, I think, April 3rd or something like that. So we're just finishing the season.

I'm so jealous right now.

Eric Lange: I'm telling you, it was like winning a prize package, getting to go visit the set and meet the cast. That would've been enough for me.

And then you actually get to act in it.

Eric Lange: Yeah. Then you get to actually speak and run around there for a while. I'm right there with you. It's just an incredible thing.

We kind of know a little bit of what happens Radzinsky in the future, but I wonder if they were thinking about doing some flash forward episode centered on him? Are we going to learn more about why he killed himself?

Eric Lange: Yeah, with the map and all of that. I certainly hope so. I would love to see that because when that map showed up in season two I was pretty riveted by that just because of all this information. I thought, 'Oh, my goodness gracious. What?' Then of course the theory is that he off'd himself. All the information we have about him is from that guy Kelvin who ended up being not too trustworthy a source. So I think there is some mystery about what actually went down in that Swan hatch. I sure hope we get to see that, but I have no confirmation from any powers that be that that'll happen or not. But I have my fingers crossed.

I think a lot of people didn't realize who he was. I had to search online to figure that he was the guy who wrote the map.

Eric Lange: Exactly, yeah. I think it'd be fascinating to find out more about that. When I auditioned for the show I was thrilled because I'd always wanted to be on it. It was like a two episode arch and the character's name was Marty Jankowski in the sides. So I got the part and I was like, 'Fantastic.' I didn't know anything.
Then a couple of days later the costumer called and said, 'Alright, you're going to be playin...who are you playing? Let me see. Oh, you're playing Radzinsky'. I was like, 'No, no, no. I'm playing this Marty Jankowski guy.' He said, 'No, no. That's a fake name. They made that up so that if the sides got out no one know you were showing up.' The name off the bat didn't ring a bell to me, but I just Googled it after I saw it. I thought, 'Why are they making such a secret of it.' My gosh, the amount of information on the internet about him is astonishing. For someone who was mentioned in one episode three years ago there's a lot of people talking about him for a long time. I was a little intimidated with those shoes to fill. My impression was that these fans have a definite view of what they'd like to see him be or who they think he is. I thought, 'Oh, my gosh, how am I going to measure up to that.' But it's been just a blast, what an honor to play someone so entrenched in the mythology of 'Lost'.

We hadn't really seen him younger or older so you were free to go with however you thought he was going to be.

Eric Lange: Exactly. I did a bunch of little back story work on my own because that was the other thing. When I got it it's not like I know who this guy is and we know that he makes it for quite some time. I called my manager and I said, 'Is there something that they need me to know about where they're taking this thing or if they want me to do this a certain way because he eventually blows himself...shoots himself in the head with a shotgun.' They just called back and said, 'No. We don't need him to know anything. If we do we'll tell him.' So I was sort of free to create this guy. I mean, the writing is pretty...I'm certainly a bull in a china shop and there's not a lot of getting around that, but I get to sort of originate the guy which is such an honor.

Do you have a theory for yourself on why he would kill himself or did you do your preparation without thinking about any of that?

Eric Lange: I didn't have a theory about him killing himself until we see all these people with the bloody noses and the various hints towards suicide that various characters have taken and that this time travel was making people sick. So I started to think that, like, maybe he's one of the earlier time travelers and that whatever goes down in the Swan was sort of like that sickness that they were all going through.
Now I don't know. I have no idea because there are so many other things that have been revealed. But he's obviously a hot blooded guy and sort of wanting to control everything all the time and constantly stepping into other people's jobs and sort of the crossing the line there. So I don't know. I guess if you start there and you continue at that pace you might get angry enough to off yourself, but I just don't know. I really hope that we find out. I think it would be a great little flash forward episode.

Can you talk about the atmosphere on the set a little bit?

Eric Lange: Yeah. Well, I had been sort of catching up on all these DVD's like twenty four hours a day before I went there, got there and then my first morning they picked me up at like four o'clock in the morning and drove me an hour and a half into this jungle. I got out of the van and there's the little yellow bungalows and then I get into a van and I'm sitting with Josh Holloway and Naveen Andrews and all these people.
It was so immediately surreal that it was just the wildest thing. When you get on a show that's that big there's a concern that you're maybe going to be working with some big egos and these guys are just the most down to earth people. I mean, from moment one I was treated like an equal and everyone was friendly. It really is a very, oddly enough, laid back set. It's not that it's laid back and casual and too relaxed, but it's just fun. Everyone is very lighthearted about it and it's just a really amazing group of people. The crew is incredible. A lot of them are Hawaii based. It was a really wonderful family to get to step into.
With regards to shooting there, it's not necessarily for the faint of heart. You're not on a soundstage a lot. You're out in that jungle there and it's like eighty five, ninety degrees some days and it's awfully humid sometimes. There are bugs. I got multiple mosquito bites and little spider bites here and there. I wanted to get a t-shirt made at one point that said 'I came to Hawaii to do "Lost" and all I got were these bug bites' or something like that. I never did. So all that stuff is in the scene with you. It's kind of exciting that way, but it's a beautiful place, Hawaii. I just can't speak highly enough of the people that I got to work with.

How is this experience different from other shows you've worked on?

Eric Lange: Well, maybe it's because of the length of time that I got to be there. Most guest stars you're there, maybe it's five days or maybe as long as eight. But you're sort of being dropped into this family that you don't know very well and they've been around together for years usually. So a lot of the time is spent just sort of trying to figure out where you fit in this thing and how best you can help keep the train running. So it was really nice to have something where I was there for an extended period of time and you could actually sort of feel at home there after a while and get sort of comfy working with the people you were with. Then the crew as well. So in that way it was a much better experience. It's just so awkward guest starring because you're really trying to look often like you've been there for a while and you've really just been there for a week or so.

Do you have any other projects coming up apart from 'Lost'? Do you know if you're coming back for season six?

Eric Lange: I don't at the moment. I just installed a ceiling fan and that will tell you how exciting life is at the moment [laughs]. I'm just sort of back home and trying to get some projects done. I'm just continuing to audition and I of course have my fingers crossed for the next season. They don't start back again until August. But I don't take anything for granted and if this is where the whole thing ends for me then it's been a great ride. It's just back to the grind, trying to lock down some more work and see what the future holds.

If you audition and get cast in another show do you have a contract with 'Lost' where they say you can't accept certain things because they might want to expand on your character?

Eric Lange: No. Right now there's nothing like that in place. So we just go out and if something of size came up and there was any sort of thought on their part that they were bringing me back, obviously we'd want to talk to them about that and try to make that work. I would absolutely love to go back. So that's always in the back of my mind, of course, but at the same time you can't just sort of hang around and hope and not go out for other jobs. So in the best of all possible worlds it all works together, but so far I'm just sitting here with fingers crossed and my ceiling fan.

What would your dream role be?

Eric Lange: My dream role? Oh, gosh. Goodness gracious. I don't know. I've never thought about it like that. Some people have.
In terms of the things that I've wanted to do in television, 'Lost' has always been something that I've said I wanted to work on. That's been a dream of mine since the pilot. I have a friend of mine and we used to watch the show every week together and I just kept babbling every week. 'God, if I could just get one scene. Put me in there somewhere.' So one of those dreams has been accomplished.
I don't know. I'd like to get into some more film work. I've been doing a lot of television and that's great. You're not locked into a forty two minute timeline on films. There's just a little freedom. You have a little more leeway in that way and that would be nice to explore and just to get to work with some people in that genre.
But in terms of roles, I have more people that I'd like to work with rather than roles that I'd like to play I guess. I'm a big Phillip Seymour Hoffman fan. Mark Ruffalo. Jack Nicholson. I have this list of people that I would just love to do something with, but in terms of roles, I've never thought about it that way.

What originally drew you to acting? How did that all start for you?

Eric Lange: I was in choirs when I was in middle school. I was never very good at sports of any kind, but I would draw and I played the piano and I sang. So I sort of had an artistic bent from the beginning and then when I got into high school, we were in our own school in for my freshman year and there was no choir. So I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with myself. A buddy of mine was going to this meeting of the drama club and so I went with him and the people there, I didn't really have any intention in being an actor, but the people that I met there were just the most extraordinary group of folks; so confident and comfortable with themselves and really odd and unique. I just thought, 'Whatever these guys are into that's helping them achieve this I want to know more about.' So I got into the plays and it was just a really natural fit from the beginning.
I remember the first show that I did, at the end of the show when the curtain came up and we got our little applause I just felt more at home than I had felt anywhere. I thought, 'I have to get some more of this.' So I stayed with it through high school and then felt confident enough about it to go get a degree in it at college. I got a BFA from the Miami University of Ohio and college went well. I got to work a lot there.
After college I think I waited about three months and I was just too antsy. I had to get out there and see what I could do. So I moved to L.A. three months after college and that was fourteen years ago. I've been here ever since. It's worked out well.
When I first got here I did a lot of theater because that's what I had done in college. A year or two here I got into commercials and I made my living in commercials for seven years because I couldn't get much representation here as an actor. I didn't have any TV credits and I was sort of a balding kid with a really skinny body and a young face. So no one quite knew what to do with me and then eventually I started doing theater with the Rubicon Theater Company which is an equity company in Ventura. I did Mitch in 'Streetcar Named Desire' and a friend of mine brought her manager to see me and he picked me up.
That was five or six years ago and ever since then it's just been a complete hundred and eighty degree turn. We've been quite busy since then. So I'm glad. I sort of look at those early years in commercials as time where I was marinating and by the time someone picked me up and put me in a room I was ready to work. So that's sort of the Cliff Notes version of my experience.

Exclusive Interview: Eric Lange (Radzinsky) from LOST

What did you think of tonight’s episode of LOST, "Dead Is Dead"?

All I can say is it's about time we got some more answers! Wow, what a huge episode. There is so much to discuss tonight so I guess I'll just dive right in. I thought it was interesting that Alpert referenced Jacob in the flashback. So we know that Jacob has been around since at least the 70s, although my guess is that he's been around since the beginning of the island. Also, I was under the impression that Widmore left the island when he was a young man. However, we learn that he was coming and going until he was in his 40s or 50s. Penny's mom was an "outsider", but did Widmore ever bring her or Penny to the island?

Another thing I found interesting was when Ben said, "every time you hear whispers, you run the other way". It was nice hearing one of the "others" acknowledge the whispers being real. Ben also said a couple other things, and I'm not sure if I believe him. First, he claims to have no idea of Jack, Hurley, Kate, and them being in Dharma. On one hand, this makes sense because he probably lost some of his memory after going to the others. However, nothing ever seems to escape Ben's notice so I wouldn't be surprised if he was lying. The other thing was when he said "Dead Is Dead" and that he was just as surprised as anyone that Locke was alive. Given the number of "ghosts" we've seen on the show, I find it doubtful that "Dead is Dead" or that Ben doesn't know this. He didn't seem frightened or surprised to see Alex's ghost for one.

I loved Ben and Locke's conversation about why Ben killed him. They were both so nonchalant about the whole thing. It definitely looks like Locke is wearing the pants in the relationship now. Ben had a good run though. I thought it was pretty awesome when he killed Caesar - that guy was annoying! I'm curious if Ben will keep his word with Alex/The Black Smoke and follow Locke? Honestly, I can't see him keeping his word, but he may not have a choice?

Then there was that weirdness with the curly haired woman that arrested Sayid. She said, "what lies in the shadow of the statue"? What the heck was that about?! Is she an "other"? I don’t remember Ben showing her any recognition when he saw her on the plane? Also there was a guy with her when everything went down. Is he an "other" too?

Then lastly we got to see what happened at the marina. Ben shoots Desmond (bastard!), and is about to let Penny and Charlie go when BAM, Desmond kicks the crap out of him and leaves him for dead. I'll see you in another life, mother ______! (Said in a Scottish accent).

LOST "Dead is Dead" (Season 5 Episode 12)

What did you think of tonight's episode of LOST, "Whatever Happened, Happened"?

I loved the debate Hurley and Miles had regarding time travel. It reminded me of the discussions we've been having on the blog. At least they are just as confused as we are. It was awesome that Hurley saw the whole "Back To The Future" connection too. I think Miles may have been right though, they can't do anything to change the future.

Why did they bring back Cassidy? I can't see them re-introducing her for just tonight's show. She must play a larger role in future episodes. Especially since Kate told her basically everything that happened on the island. Kate couldn't keep her mouth shut this episode, could she? She also told Claire's mom the truth, but I'm glad since it puts Aaron in good hands. Do you think Cassidy or Claire's mom will tell anyone Kate's secret? And what's all this about Claire being alive? I thought she died? We never actually saw her die, but the last time we saw her, she was in Jacob's cabin looking all ghost-like with Jack's dad (who is also supposed to be dead). If she is alive, maybe she stayed back to get to know her real dad?

I also didn't understand why Kate and Sawyer tried so hard to save Ben. They know what a bastardo he's going to turn out to be. Also, if they truly cared about him, why would they turn him over to Alpert after he said, "he'll never be the same when we're done with him and his innocence will be gone." LOL! What are they planning to do to poor Ben? If I ever end up in that situation I hope whoever is calling the shots will just let me croak. I think it's safe to assume that young Ben is not going to die now.

Also did you see the previews for next week? Ben said he came back to the island for his judgment, which I'm guessing is going to be the black smoke thing? If that's true, isn't it sort of like committing suicide? I can't see Ben passing any sort of test that casts judgment on someone. It also looks like we might find out how Ben got beaten up! Can't wait

LOST "Whatever Happened, Happened" (Season 5 Episode 11)

What did you think of tonight's episode of LOST, "He's Our You"?

Wow, I just spent the whole episode wondering why Sayid wasn't cooperating and being mad at Sawyer for not trying hard enough to save him. Then it all changed in the last 5 seconds, which turned out to be a huge "oh no that did NOT just happen" moment. Sayid is the man! But what does this mean for the show now?? Is modern day Ben going to disappear? I thought they couldn't change the past? Maybe he will come back to life. So much of everything that has happened since the beginning of the show has been Ben's doing; so what's going to happen if adult Ben never existed? Ahhh..this show makes my head hurt. Will it be like in Back to The Future when pictures start fading? Where is Doc Brown when you need him?

Another thing I found odd was that Sayid seemed to truly be on the Guam flight by accident. Sort of like the same providential force that brought all the original losties to the island on the Oceanic flight. If the lady that captured Sayid was telling the truth, and she wasn't working with Ben, was it Sayid's destiny to return to the island? Was killing Ben his destiny? OR was the lady lying? Maybe she was in fact working for Ben, or Charles Widmore.

One thing my friend pointed out to me last week (and I thought it was interesting) is that in season 2 we find out the "others" were only interested in apprehending certain plane victims (Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer). These were the same people that would later make it to the island in the Dharma era. Could this be why Ben chose them to be taken in Season 2? He must have remembered them from when he was younger? Did he know Juliet was on the island during the 70s as well? But then again, how could he if he was killed (my head hurts again). Anyway, most of you probably already put that together but I forgot that fact from the older seasons and thought I'd share it in case you have a fuzzy memory like me.
