MODERN FAMILY "The Bicycle Thief" Episode 2

I had a chance to watch an advance copy of the new ABC family Modern Family and I wanted to share a quick review on the show.

Modern Family is a very funny show with a decent cast and great dialogue. I guess my only complaint with the show is that it feels a little uneven in the sense that not every character is funny in the same way and that there are some predictable jokes.

However I can give them credit for keeping my attention since I didn't find myself looking at my iPhone or thinking of something else throughout the episode. Is it funny enough to survive the Fall cancellation onslaught? Maybe, especially if it finds its audience. Personally, I will give it a few more episodes before I decide whether to give it a season pass. Hope you like it!

Elizabeth Banks ("Seabiscuit," "Zack and Miri Make a Porno") will also guest star in the same episode as Mitchell and Cameron's best girlfriend, Sal.

From the short clip it's hard to make up my mind as to whether Modern Family is actually going to be a smart and funny show or not. So I think I'll wait to see more before making my final judgment. I do admit to having a soft spot for Jesse Tyler Ferguson though, he makes me laugh.
