On TV Tonight, Wednesday 10/24: PUSHING DAISIES, DIRTY SEXY MONEY, and more…
October 24, 2007

PUSHING DAISIES “Pigeon” - 8pm ABC
After the good news of a full season pick up for Pushing Daisies, this episode will be even sweeter to watch. It looks like the relationship between Ned and Chuck gets even more complicated tonight. I keep hoping these two will touch one day, but I really don’t see how they ever can…

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL “The Girl Who Gets A Mango” - 8pm the CW
I just realized that I don’t really know any of the girls’ names this season. I know I’m bad with names, but at this point in the competition I usually know some of the names. Maybe it’s because I don’t find this season of America’s Next Top Model as fun as last seasons. I really hope it picks up.

BIONIC WOMAN “The Education of Jaimie Sommers” - 9pm NBC
Still behind one episode. I feel like I’m never going to be able to catch up. And I do like the TV show. I think I just haven’t gotten around to it and haven’t really been in the mood to watch it yet. I promise I’ll do my best to be up to date next week.

PRIVATE PRACTICE “In Which Addison Finds A Showerhead” - 9pm ABC
All I have to say is interesting title… Moving on, I feel that every week is pretty much similar, doesn’t mean I don’t like it, but I don’t have much to say about it. Here’s hoping for another good episode.

GOSSIP GIRL “The Handmaiden’s Tale” - 9pm the CW
Now that Blair and Serena are friends again what is going to be the next Gossip in town? Is little Jenny going to get into more trouble? Will Serena and Dan finally get an uninterrupted date? You’ll have to tune in to find out. xoxo

LIFE “The Fallen Woman” - 10pm NBC
I have to be honest and say that Life is not at the top of my list of my favorite TV shows right now. I think the procedural part of the show has worn me out a little bit. I still adore Damian Lewis though and I think he’s the main reason I tune in every week.

DIRTY SEXY MONEY “The Bridge” - 10pm ABC
I find Dirty Sexy Money quite enjoyable, but I never have much to say about it. Not that it’s perfect, but for some reason I cannot find something clever to say… How about it’s nice to see Peter Krause on TV again?

Death Watch Updates - Picked up TV Shows
October 20, 2007
Some updates in the Death Watch Department:
There have been a few TV shows picked up this week which have been upgraded to the immortal status on our Death Watch Page.
ABC has given the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff, PRIVATE PRACTICE a full season. I enjoy watching Private Practice, and with the ratings it had been getting, I am not surprised ABC decided to go ahead and give Private Practice a full season. I guess we’ll be seeing more of Addison.
CBS has given THE BIG BANG THEORY a full season. I don’t watch The Big Bang Theory mostly because the pilot just did not make me laugh one bit. And now with the full season pickup, either there is something I am not seeing in that TV show, or everybody else is just going insane… I’ll go with the second option…
FOX has given KITCHEN NIGHTMARES a full season. This is one of the TV shows I was really excited to watch because I am such a fan of the British version, but turns out I hated the American version. It seems not everybody shared my feeling since Kitchen Nightmares was given a full season. I’m still not gonna watch it though.

On TV Tonight, Wednesday 10/17: PUSHING DAISIES, BIONIC WOMAN, and more…
October 17, 2007

PUSHING DAISIES “The Fun In The Funeral” - 8pm ABC
My favorite TV show is back tonight with its third episode. It always makes me happy when I watch Pushing Daisies. Also, Kristin Dos Santos from Watch With Kristin is making an appearance in the episode as a dead body. You can read all about her experience with the Pushing Daisies crew and check out a clip from the show as well as interviews from the cast here.

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL “The Girl Who Is Afraid Of Heights” - 8pm the CW
Turns out last week wasn’t as dramatic as I expected. The supposedly bald girl, isn’t really bald, plus I actually thinks she looks way better with her hair short than she would have with long blond hair. Tonight, Ambreal has to deal with her fear of heights. I still don’t know the girls’ names, I don’t know why for some reason they don’t seem to stick with me.

BIONIC WOMAN “Faceoff” - 9pm NBC
I thought Bionic Woman was going to be one of the TV shows I would be most excited about this Fall, turns out it’s actually the show I usually watch last. I haven’t watched last week’s episode yet and I think it’s because I always feel like watching something else. I will probably catch up this week-end but Bionic Woman will have to come up with better storylines in order to keep me interested. I also think the fact that the boyfriend was killed off didn’t help, I really liked him in the pilot.

PRIVATE PRACTICE “In Which Addison Has A Very Casual Get-Together” - 9pm ABC
This is just an okay TV show for me, I am usually doing other things as I watch it. To me it’s definitely not as good as Grey’s Anatomy but entertaining enough for me to keep watching. We’ll see what Addison and co. are up to tonight.

GOSSIP GIRL “Dare Devil” - 9pm the CW
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in… No but seriously, I really liked last week’s episode of Gossip Girl so I decided to stick with it for a while. So far I don’t really have any favorite character, or maybe I would say Gossip Girl is my favorite for now.

LIFE “What They Saw” - 10pm NBC
Ah another night with Damian Lewis. I am starting to think I have a thing for British and Australian actors… oh wait I do have a thing for British, Australian, Irish, and Scottish actors. So yeah, I love Life, but most of all I love Damian Lewis’ portrayal of Charlie Crews.

DIRTY SEXY MONEY “The Chiavennasca” - 10pm ABC
Dirty Sexy Money has been a surprise for me, I still wouldn’t say that I’m in love with it, but I do enjoy it. It has some funny moments. I do wonder one thing: Am I the only one who feels the brother-sister relationship between Jeremy and Juliet Darling is a little bit ambiguous?

On Tonight, Wednesday 10/10: PUSHING DAISIES, LIFE, and more…
October 9, 2007

PUSHING DAISIES “Dummy” - 8pm ABC
My new TV fall obsession! I am so looking forward to finally seeing the second episode of Pushing Daisies. All I can hope for is that the second episode is as good as the first one and that the ratings stay high. I also wanted to mention a great fan site dedicated to Pushing Daisies, The Pie Maker. If you get a chance, you should check it out.
Update: Don’t forget that today is also your last chance to win a Pushing Daisies Comic Book.

AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL “The Girl Who Goes Bald” - 8pm the CW
Makeover week! Yay! From the previews and the title of the episode, it looks like someone will go bald this season. Now I am all for makeovers and short hair cuts, but bald… I’m not sure I could deal with that. My sympathies go to the girl that is getting this special treatment. Can’t wait to see the new looks!

FIVE DAYS “Day 2″ - 8pm HBO
I mentioned Five Days last week, but unfortunately haven’t had a chance to look at the first episode yet. It is on my DVR and I plan on watching it very soon. Mikey Likes TV has a review of the first episode and according to him, it’s “worth your time.”

BIONIC WOMAN “Sisterhood” - 9pm NBC
I finally watched the second episode, but to be honest, I wasn’t that blown away. I really thought Bionic Woman would be my favorite new TV show this season, turns out so far I just enjoy it but I am not as excited as I expected to be. Still, Bionic Woman is pretty high on my list and will remain on my schedule for now.

PRIVATE PRACTICE “In Which Addison Finds The Magic” - 9pm ABC
Turns out I always forget about Private Practice on Wednesdays until I write about it. I think it’s because I like the show, but I don’t get excited about watching it. I guess the Addison team is just not as interesting to me as the Grey team.

GOSSIP GIRL “Bad News Blair” - 9pm the CW
With the good news of a full season pick-up for Gossip Girl announced today, fans of the TV show, are probably jumping up and down for more than one reason today. I am personally still not sold on Gossip Girl. Like I said, it needs to pick up in the next few weeks.

LIFE “Let Her Go” - 10pm NBC
One of this season’s surprises, Life has still got me hooked. Damian Lewis is as brilliant as ever. Someone reminded me the other day how good he also was in Band of Brothers (if you haven’t seen this miniseries, you need to). Looking forward to solving more cases with Charlie Crews!

DIRTY SEXY MONEY “The Italian Banker” - 10pm ABC
I wasn’t excited about Dirty Sexy Money at all before watching the pilot, but turns out he pilot really surprised me. The second episode wasn’t too bad either. Now I wouldn’t go as far as saying that Dirty Sexy Money is one of my favorite TV shows, but it’s definitely better than I thought it would be and it has a spot on my schedule for now.
