Jerry O’Connell on SAMANTHA WHO?
March 25, 2008

According to the Ausiello Report, Jerry O’Connell is going to guest star on SAMANTHA WHO?
In the episode, which will air on April 28, Jerry O’Connell will play someone from Samantha’s past. What do you bet she doesn’t remember him?
I think Jerry O’Connell is hilarious and there could be an interesting dynamic between him and Christina Applegate.
What do you think of Jerry O’Connell guest starring on Samantha Who?

SAMANTHA WHO? - Gets a full season
October 30, 2007

Michael Ausiello just announced that ABC’s SAMANTHA WHO? was picked up for a full season.
This doesn’t come as a surprise for anyone since Samantha Who? has been doing really well with its ratings.
Personally, I don’t watch Samantha Who?, the pilot was okay but I just wasn’t that excited so I decided not to watch it for now. I might tune in once things calm down a bit and give it one more shot.

SAMANTHA WHO? - After thoughts
October 17, 2007

I watched SAMANTHA WHO? on ABC last night and it wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t good enough for me to tune in again next week. I am tapped out and this TV show just didn’t excite me enough to get on my TV schedule.
I know that the show got sick ratings but I think most of it was from its lead-in, Dancing With The Stars, and since Samantha Who? doesn’t suck, why wouldn’t people stick around and watch it? I know my mom wouldn’t change the channel if she watched Dancing With the Stars.
Either way, I personally won’t watch it. I didn’t even really laugh once during the pilot. Maybe it’s going to be one of those shows that I later on rent on DVD and love. It’s always nice to have DVDs to rent for times when there is nothing to watch on TV.

On Tonight, Monday 10/15: HEROES, JOURNEYMAN, and more…
October 15, 2007

HOW I MET YOU MOTHER “Little Boys” - 8pm CBS
I just love this TV show. It never fails to make me laugh even if I had a crappy day. Now that Ted is single again, there is so much more we can expect from Barney. It’s going to be Legen…wait for it…dary!

EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS “Everybody Hates Driving” - 8pm the CW
I love Chris and his family, they are so crazy… and they make me laugh. I have been a fan since the start.

CHUCK “Chuck Versus the Wookie” - 8pm NBC
I haven’t been all the way convinced by Chuck even though it does make me laugh, but I liked last week’s episode more and am looking forward to Chuck this week.

ALIENS IN AMERICA “Rocket Club” - 8:30pm the CW
I mentioned how much I liked the second episode of Aliens in America in my previous post and now I am so excited to see a new episode. Who would have thought this TV show would make me laugh so much. I love it. Aliens in America got itself a season pass here at Daemon’s TV.

HEROES “The Kindness of Strangers” - 9pm NBC
With a first look at Kristen Bell, one of the excitements for tonight’s Heroes is that it gets me closer to next week’s episode and the first appearance of Kristen Bell’s character, Elle. I do hope that the Peter Petrelli’s story gets a little more interesting, so far it feels like they are just filling up time.

SAMANTHA WHO “Pilot” - 9:30pm ABC
We get another new show tonight. At this point I have so much to watch already, I am not even excited about watching new shows anymore. I will try to watch the pilot of Samantha Who?, but unless it’s really, really good, it probably won’t make it on my schedule for now.

JOURNEYMAN “The Year of the Rabbit” - 10pm NBC
One of my favorites, and I am glad to say I am up to date. I still love it and I really hope that the ratings will start to pick up or that NBC will at least give it a full season pick up.

THE BOONDOCKS “Tom, Sarah, and Usher” - 11:30pm Adult Swim
Are you not watching The Boondocks yet? What are you waiting for? It’s a great late night break from reality… well sort of.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: SAMANTHA WHO on ABC
August 28, 2007

Samantha Who - Starts October 15th at 9:30pm
Plot: When a terrible accident leaves Samantha “Sam” Newly in a coma for eight days, she wakes up with no recollection of any past experiences, memories or events. Faced with amnesia, Sam must start over. To her dismay she discovers that she wasn’t a particularly honest, good-hearted or loving person. In fact she was self-involved, narcissistic and devoid of real relationships - essentially a bitch. Sam must now struggle with her desire to be good and her temptation to be…not so good. Finding the line between good and evil is never easy.
Daemon’s TV Review: So this is the show that changed its title like three times. I’m not sure if that’s going to help the show in any shape or form. I don’t really want to watch it. Plus it airs at the same time as Heroes and K-Ville, so that’s definitely not happening for me.

ABC’s new show SAM I AM changes its title
June 18, 2007
ABC had to change the title of its new show SAM I AM (starring Christina Applegate) due to clearance issues with the estate of Dr. Seuss (the title appeared in the classic Dr. Seuss work “Green Eggs and Ham”).
ABC has decided to call the show “Samantha Be Good.”
The new title for sure doesn’t sound as good as the first one, but hey, if the show is good then it shouldn’t matter.
Source Variety.
