GREEK "Friend or Foe" Review (Season 3 Episode 10)

Tonight, ABC Family will air the mid-season finale episode of GREEK titled "Friend or Foe." Most of you are probably still high on last week's episode, with Casey and Cappie finally getting together. That was pretty exciting, but the fun doesn't stop there.
On tonight's episode, "Friend or Foe," Casey and Cappie have to figure out how to let Evan know about their relationship. And as you probably guess things don't go as smoothly as they both hoped.
In other news, the ZBZs are competing in the Songfest, but need to come up with a new dance when theirs gets disqualified. Thanks to ZBZ pledge Abby (Oleysa Rulin from "High School Musical"), they are able to choreograph an all new dance, which is pretty damn awesome. You'll probably want to watch that a couple of times.
I of course can't tell you whether or not they win the competition, but what I can tell you is that the result of the competition actually leads the events of the cliffhanger for this finale. Which unfortunately is not the most exciting finale ever, but definitely makes me want to tune back in. Because let's face it, I would watch the rest of the season even if there wasn't a cliffhanger because I love the show so much.
Another big part of tonight's episode is Cappie and Evan trying to unite their houses. What are the chances they'll actually succeed? Yeah... didn't think so. But the bigger question is, will Cappie and Evan's friendship survive everything that happens?
And finally, Rusty and Dale decide to settle their score through a battle of bots competition. It sounds a lot better than what it actually is. I guess I was expecting more explosions.
I am honestly a little disappointed with the Dale/Rusty storyline right now. Dale used to be one of my favorite characters, but it seems that instead of growing he is going back to the character he was in season one. I just wish he would continue on his journey instead. As for Rusty, well hopefully he'll get a new girlfriend soon, because I kind of liked his relationship with Jordan. But I guess that will have to wait until Greek comes back.
For now, enjoy tonight's episode!

Check out the first picture of Olivia Munn on the season 3 of GREEK "The Day After" Season 3 Episode 1 which aired on August 31 at 9pm on ABC Family. Olivia Munn is playing the role of Lana (Olivia Munn), a new hot waitress who is not aware of her beauty.
Check out further details below in the ABC press release.
Episode Synopsis GREEK "The Day After" - ABC Family presents another semester of theme parties, sisterhood rivalry and - oh yeah - making the grades with an all new season of "Greek," premiering Monday, August 31 (9:00 - 10:00PM ET/PT). The series will return with ten all-new episodes airing through November.
"Greek" picks up where it left off, with the events from last season's "End of the World" party dramatically revealing themselves in the first episode entitled "The Day After." After learning of Max's departure, Cappie (Scott Michael Foster) wonders if he made the right decision by telling Casey he wasn't interested in giving their relationship another chance, while Casey (Spencer Grammer) struggles with the aftermath of Cappie's unexpected rejection; Rebecca's (Dilshad Vadsaria) late night kiss with a mystery man can't stay a secret for too long; and Rusty (Jacob Zachar) risks failing in o-chem and losing his honor status, while roommate Dale (Clark Duke) faces a huge moral dilemma.
And if campus drama weren't enough, add family dynamics to the mix as ZBZ celebrates father-daughter weekend, with guest stars Kadeem Hardison (Ashleigh's father, Brian), Thomas Calabro (Rebecca's father, Senator Ken Logan), Tom Amandes (Jordan's father, Jack) and Jerry Lambert (Casey's father, Russell.)
Thanks to their less than stellar pledge class, the ZBZ house also begins sliding in the ranks among the other sorority houses. Casey, Rebecca and Ashleigh do everything they can to maintain their status as one of the top houses at Cyprus Rhodes. ZBZ pledge Abby (Olesya Rulin) drives Casey crazy when she expresses her disappointment in the lack of party invites and questions the sorority's relationship with the popular fraternities.
Also, a new hottie waitress, Lana (Olivia Munn), hits the Cyprus-Rhodes scene and captures the eye of a big man on campus.
Created by Patrick Sean Smith, "Greek" is executive produced by Piller/Segan in association with ABC Family. The cast includes Jacob Zachar as Rusty, Spencer Grammer as Casey, Scott Michael Foster as Cappie, Jake McDorman as Evan, Clark Duke as Dale, Dilshad Vadsaria as Rebecca, Paul James as Calvin, and Amber Stevens as Ashleigh.

GREEK Chapter 3 DVD Review

GREEK Chapter 3 has been released on DVD for you to own. By now if you're a fan of the show, I don't think I need to convince you. And for those that haven't jumped on the Greek train yet, I say give the show a chance, you might end up loving it.
The third chapter of Greek begins during Greek week. Rebecca continues her outrageous behavior, which eventually leads her and Cappie to breakup.
Evan and Frannie continue their relationship, which began over Spring Break. Although, Casey doesn't seem to be really ok with the whole thing. But that doesn't last too long since in chapter 3, we also meet Max, Rusty's RA, who also becomes Casey's new love interest, and also one of my new favorite characters.
Of course those are only some of the adventures our favorite characters face, but since I don't want to give too much away, I'll just say that this was probably my favorite chapter so far. I loved the direction Casey's life took and as I mentioned before, I loved Max. And you will be happy to know that all your favorite characters are back and you will see plenty of them as well.
