Robot Chicken Gets Unprecedented Two-Season Pick-Up

Seth Green and Matthew Senreich Secure 40-episode Order with Adult Swim for 5th and 6th Season

Robot Chicken creators/executive producers Seth Green and Matthew Senreich have made a deal with Cartoon Network's Adult Swim for a two-season, 40-episode pick-up for Seasons five and six. Robot Chicken, the highest-rated original series on Adult Swim, began airing in February 2005 and remains the top-rated original on the network. The series has been Emmy-nominated as Outstanding Animated Program for the last two years; Green was nominated for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance and the series has won multiple Emmys in Animation. Robot Chicken produced two hit Robot Chicken: Star Wars specials, and Robot Chicken DVDs consistently rank among the industry’s top TV on DVD releases during the week they are released. In addition, Robot Chicken has won four Annie Awards, including Best Animated Television Production, Best Writing and Best Director for Green.

Robot Chicken is created and executive produced by Green and Senreich under their Stoopid Monkey Productions, in conjunction with Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico’s ShadowMachine Films. Green and Senreich also executive produce, write and, with Chris McKay, direct the series, with Green providing many of the voices. Tom Root and Douglas Goldstein are the head writers of Robot Chicken and series writers Mike Fasolo, Kevin Shinick and Zeb Wells are frequently joined by guest writers Breckin Meyer (who also does many voices on the show), Hugh Davidson, Hugh Sterbakov and Dan Milano, Erik Weiner and Jordan Allen-Dutton.

Both Green and Senreich are represented by UTA. Green's deal was also handled by Koopman Management and David Weber of Sloane, Offer, Weber and Dern and Senreich's by Allison Binder of Stone, Meyer, Genow, Smelkinson & Binder.

Adult Swim Announces New Stop-Motion Animated Series, Titan Maximum
New Series From Head Writer/Creators of Popular Adult Swim Original, Robot Chicken.

The newest original comedy series from Adult Swim, Titan Maximum, launches this fall from the creators of the network’s most popular original series, Robot Chicken. Created by Robot Chicken producer/co-head writer/director Tom Root and Robot Chicken executive producer/co-creator/writer/director Matthew Senreich, Titan Maximum uses stop-motion animation to bring a 1980s-inspired action cartoon to life as only the Emmy-winning Robot Chicken team can. Robot Chicken executive producer/co-creator/writer/director Seth Green will voice the show’s villain and Root, Senreich and Green executive produce the new series. Created in conjunction with ShadowMachine Films’ Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico, the series also features the voice acting of Breckin Meyer, Rachael Leigh Cook, Dan Milano and Eden Espinosa.  Titan Maximum premieres September 27 at 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.

One hundred years in the future, Saturn’s moon Titan is defended by Titan Force Five, an elite squadron of young, brash pilots whose spaceships combine to form the giant robot Titan Maximum.  As the series opens, the team has been disbanded due to budget cuts, but must hastily reassemble when
a former team member turns rogue and tries to conquer the solar system with an assault of giant monsters.  Now, the fate of humanity rests in the hands of a team of dysfunctional misfits commanding a rustbucket robot.

Titan Maximum is created by Root and Senreich and executive produced by Green, Root and Senreich under Green and Senreich’s Stoopid Monkey Productions and Root’s production banner.   Root leads the writing staff, which includes Senreich and two best-selling comic book writers:  Geoff Johns of DC Comics and Zeb Wells of Marvel Comics. Chris McKay directs and Eric Blyler co-produces.

Adult Swim Announces New Stop-Motion Animated Series, Titan Maximum

Crafted specifically for Adult Swim fans, the ADULT SWIM PRESENTS SUMMER AT SANTOS SERIES is a live performance series that kicked-off this past June and features a different musical and comedy performance each time. To host and create these shows, Adult Swim tapped into the best resource they know – their talent. Talent comprised of show creators and stars of Adult Swim series like Delocated, Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! were called on to curate their own slices of comedy and music heaven that will feature an array of unique talent chosen by each of them.
The last show from the six-show series is this Thursday night at the Santos Party House located at 96 LaFayette St. in New York City. Doors open at 7 p.m.; the show starts at 7:30 p.m. All shows are free and open to the public, ages 18 and up. The night will be headlined by Adult Swim series Superjail! co-creator Christy Karacas.
