GAVIN & STACEY Episode 1 Review
August 26, 2008

GAVIN & STACEY! There are just no words that explain how in love I am with this show. It is a MUST-SEE.
A big success in England, Gavin & Stacey is coming to BBC America premiering tonight, August 26, at 8:40pm.
On its surface, I could have never imagined how touched I would be by this sweet little british show. Gavin & Stacey tells the story of, you guessed it, Gavin and Stacey, two ordinary people who are obsessed with each other even though they have only spoken on the phone. They decide to meet in person and this is where the story starts.
Not only is Gavin & Stacey a beautiful love story, it’s a great “realistic comedy” for lack of better words. Like we rarely see on TV, Gavin & Stacey is able to tell a love story without all the cutsie stuff around it. It just feels so real and I think that’s what really touched me.
And, let’s not forget Gavin and Stacey’s friends, Nessa and Smithy. These two are quite the pair. I don’t want to give too much away, but I can say that alcohol will have to be involved for these two to get along.

SKINS on BBC America Pictures and Videos
August 17, 2008
Check out some photos and videos for SKINS, BBC America’s new comedy drama, which premieres tonight, August 17, at 9pm (regular timeslot will be 10pm starting next week).
Starring Nicholas Hoult (About a Boy, The Weather Man), and with a team of writers averaging the age of 22, the award-winning show is a coming of age story for 2008.
While I haven’t actually seen the first episode, I did see quite a few trailers for the show and am intrigued to find out what this show is all about. And the fact that the writers are all pretty young is quite an original way to approach a “teenage show.”
Synopsis: “Episode 1″ - Tony is a smart 17 year-old. So smart, he believes he can even get his best mate Sid laid, and make a profit – and Abigail’s party seems like the perfect place to do both. Inevitably a dope deal goes wrong, and so does Sid’s quest to lose his virginity. But when the stolen car goes into the river and takes the unpaid-for drugs with it, Tony and his mates are really in trouble.

PRIMEVAL Episode 1 Review
August 8, 2008
The Brits have done it again and created a new awesome TV show called PRIMEVAL.
Premiering Saturday, August 9, at 9pm on BBC America, the show follows a team consisting of zoologist, Nick Cutter and his research assistant Stephen Hart, zoologist Abby Maitland, and student palaeontologist Connor Temple, as they try to understand what brought a prehistoric predator Gorgonopsid into our world. Yep, that’s right we’re talking dinosaurs, but unlike in Jurassic Park where they are “contained” on an island, these dinosaurs roam free among us. And so Nick and his team along with Government officials James Lester and Claudia Brown, who try to keep this information secret from the public, will have to work together in order to “save the world” or at least their city.
PRIMEVAL Episode 1 Pictures
August 8, 2008
PRIMEVAL is an all new show coming from across the pond about a zoologist, Nick Cutter (Douglas Henshall), who discovers that prehistoric creatures are living in the present day. With his newly assembled team, Nick will try to uncover the truth behind this new discovery, but the thing is it’s not easy to send a huge dinosaur back from where it came from.
I don’t know how they do it, but the Brits just come up with great shows, and Primeval is another one that you should check out. We will have a review coming up soon with more details about the first episode, but for now enjoy the pictures from the first episode below.
Don’t forget to watch Primeval season one premiere on Saturday, August 9, at 9pm on BBC America.

ROBIN HOOD “Ducking and Diving” (S02E05) - Preview Clip Video
May 28, 2008
Are you still loving this season of ROBIN HOOD? I know I am.
This Saturday, May 31, at 9pm we are getting a whole new episode, “Ducking and Diving,” on BBC America.
Robin suspects that he has a spy in his camp, which he does. Unfortunately for me, I really liked Allan last season and I am still upset he betrayed the gang. Nothing good can come out of this if Robin finds out about him betraying them. This episode could be life changing.
And since Saturday is still a few days away, we are happy to give you a sneak peek at the new episode.
Synopsis: “Ducking and Diving” - A horrified Robin discovers that his plan to capture the Sheriff’s spy, Henry of Lewes, failed because of a traitor in his gang. Fearing for Marian’s safety in the castle, Robin needs to find out who is betraying him. His only clue is supplied by Marian - the spy sells his secrets to Gisbourne at the Trip to Jerusalem Inn. With two missions to complete Robin is relieved when Henry of Lewes arrives at the castle unconscious, his vital information about the King’s landing sites remaining a mystery. Robin infiltrates the castle to silence Henry and is helped by a wise-woman Matilda, who is tasked by the Sheriff to nurse Henry to health. Asking Robin to look after her heavily pregnant daughter, Matilda promises that she’ll silence Henry using special herbs. The Sheriff makes the connection with Robin and Matilda’s life is in danger. Robin returns to the forest with Matilda’s daughter, to a confused and hurt gang - they resent being suspected of treachery. Marian arrives at the camp on a horse, reporting that Matilda is about to be tried for witchcraft. Can Robin trust his gang to save the lives at stake and also silence Henry? There is a spy in his gang who needs catching before the day is out.

MI-5 - Season 4 Premieres tonight
May 21, 2008

Since I forgot to remind you to watch Not Going Out on BBC America last night, I wanted to make sure to remind you to watch MI-5 tonight on BBC America at 9pm.
MI-5 is such a fun spy show to watch, and as opposed to American shows, they are not afraid to kill off their main characters. However the strength of MI-5 is that the replacement cast is always great and they each bring some new blood to the show.
Synopsis: The new season begins with a gripping, two-episode storyline, as London is hit by a terrorist attack. The terrorist group promise to detonate further bombs across the UK capital if their leader isn’t freed, leaving the spies at MI5 just hours to prevent a deadly catastrophe.
