It's official, we have a premiere date for DOCTOR WHO's final two specials, Doctor Who: The End of Time.
Part One will premiere on Saturday, December 26, 2009 on BBC America, and the premiere date for Part Two should be announced very soon as well.
This will be the last Doctor Who episodes starring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor. He will then be replaced by Matt Smith who will become the Eleventh Doctor in the new season slated to premiere in 2010.
Doctor Who: The End of Time will also bring back a favorite of mine: The Master. I personally can't wait to see John Simm back as The Master. And if the last episode featuring The Master is anything to go by, we should expect this one is going to be epic!

Check out some photos and a new preview from the new DOCTOR WHO special, The Waters of Mars. It has already aired in the UK and will premiere on BBC America on Saturday December 19, 9:00pm. I can't wait!
Synopsis: Lindsay Duncan (Alice and Wonderland, Rome) joins the Doctor as his sharpest and most strong-minded companion yet for the second of four Doctor Who Specials. The Waters of Mars is a dark, scary thriller that sees the Doctor land on the planet Mars, at a base in peril. A creeping infection beneath the Martian surface threatens not only the human race, but also the Doctor's most fundamental beliefs. Michelle is the guinea pig as she sets out to expose the dangers of binge drinking, the damage it does to mental and physical health and where the line is from having just a few drinks to binge drinking. She uncovers the truth behind binge statistics, meets people who are victims of this cultural phenomenon, talks to other role models who have fallen on and off the wagon and sees how her own life is effected during a 30 day experiment where she consumes a minimum of 60 drinks per week.
The Truth About Binge Drinking premieres Thursday, December 3, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT

PEDIGREE DOGS EXPOSED - U.S. PREMIERE
In a controversial UK documentary that divided the British dog world, the practices and methods for breeding pedigree dogs are exposed with heartbreaking stories. A pug gasps for breath because his face is too flat, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel writhes in agony because of a brain condition and a distraught owner holds his beloved boxer who is fitting uncontrollably. The fallout from this documentary led to the BBC dropping its coverage of Crufts, the UK's equivalent of the Westminster Show. This documentary examines how many breeds have been so exaggerated they're unrecognizable from the fit and functional animals of a century ago. With international perspectives and testimony from top experts including The British Kennel Club, Pedigree Dogs Exposed unravels the historical, social and cultural reasons why purebred dogs today are in so much trouble.
Pedigree Dogs Exposed premieres Thursday, December 10, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT

THE TRUTH ABOUT ONLINE ANOREXIA - U.S. PREMIERE
British TV and radio personality, Fearne Cotton, examines the ongoing trend for super-slim women and immerses herself in the worrying world of 'pro-ana' websites that encourage anorexia and starvation as a life choice. As Fearne explores the diet and exercise regime of a `pro-ana', she tests some of the extreme regimes they endorse and meets other girls who've embraced the same lifestyle. She explores the seductive nature of these `support' groups, examines the world of competitive dieting and looks at relationships ordinary women have with each other when it comes to diet and body image.

TOP GEAR POLAR SPECIAL - U.S. PREMIERE
Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are back with a special episode just in time for winter. It's the ultimate test of man against machine - or should that be dog against machine - as the boys set out on their most ambitious and arduous challenge to date. It's an epic land race starting in the town of Resolute, Northern Canada finishing 450 miles later at the magnetic North Pole as the team race their vehicles of choice across the tough terrain. Jeremy and James drive a specially converted car made by an Icelandic engineering team whose achievements include the first crossing of the Greenland Ice Cap by car and Richard travels by a sled pulled by a team of 10 Canadian Inuit dogs with his companion Matty McNair, an experienced explorer with telepathic understanding of her dogs. Pitting dog power against horse power and the nature of the terrain, there's no telling who will make it to the pole first.
Don't miss the Season 3 finale of SKINS "Everyone" this Thursday at 9pm on BBC America.
While I started out not too sure about the new cast of Skins, throughout this season I have fallen in love with these new characters and love them almost as much as the first group. And by the look of this clip we're going to see more of the Effy, Cook, Freddie love triangle. Can't wait!

Synopsis: SKINS "Everyone" Season 3 Finale - Cook and Effy are in self-imposed exile from the gang, having gone to stay with Cook's father. Effy is running away from everything she's ever known and Cook enables her escape. Problem is, Cook is slowly falling out of lust, and in love with her. Back in Bristol, JJ tries to snap Freddie out of his depressed stupor, down about the loss of both his best friend, and the girl he loves.

The new series of Doctor Who will premiere in spring 2010. The final three episodes featuring David Tennant will be broadcast later this year, with the existing logo on-screen.

I got a chance to take a look at the PRIMEVAL Volume Two DVD, which is now available to own (you can buy it on Amazon).
The DVD contains all 10 episodes from the third series of Primeval, as well as a few extras.
The third series of Primeval starts out as everyone is dealing with the aftermath of Stephen's death and Helen's betrayal. Cutter now only has two people left on his team, Abby & Connor, but it won't stay that way for long. Within the first episode, Cutter adds two new members to his team, Captain Becker, the new leader of the ARC's security forces, and Sarah Page, an Egyptologist. A little bit later in the season, we also meet another addition to the team, Danny Quinn, a maverick policeman.

Now I don't want to give to much away of what happens in series 3, but what I can say is that you are in for a treat. The season has some pretty great episodes and you won't believe some of the things that happen.

Primeval is one of my favorite shows and I was really sad when I heard that series 3 was the final series of the show. Especially since it left you on a cliffhanger. But recently, it was announced that Primeval would return in 2011 for an all new season. So if I was excited for the release of series 3 on DVD, there is now even more reason to get your hands on it so you can get yourself ready for the new season.

I really enjoyed series 3 of Primeval and watching the episodes over again reminded me why I love the show so much. There are some events that happen this season that I wish didn't because it changes some of the dynamic of the characters, but overall it was a really strong season. The actors are still terrific, especially my favorites Douglas Henshall who plays Nick Cutter and Andrew-Lee Potts who plays Connor Temple. I even warmed up to the new characters and for me they now really feel part of the show.

And of course, the anomalies are back as well with ancient creatures even more terrifying than ever.

We also learn more about the artifact and what it does this season.

Overall, I think that if you enjoyed previous seasons of Primeval, you're going to enjoy season 3 a lot.

DVD Extras

Now on to the extras. I'll be honest, this DVD doesn't have too many of them, so if you enjoy them unfortunately you won't be too satisfied.

Among the extra features are a featurette about the character of Nick Cutter called "Cutter's Odyssey."

Another featurette is "Genesis of a Creature" which follows the 16 year old winner of the competition to design a creature for the show that the producers launched in 2008 as he visits the set of Primeval.

And finally, the DVD also includes audio commentary.

So there you have it. Make sure to get your hands on that Primeval volume 2 DVD.

You can also check out a clip from series 3 below.

Original co-production partners ITV, ProSieben and BBC Worldwide return to co-fund the new series, with BBC Worldwide becoming the majority funding partner. BBC AMERICA, takes on a full co-production credit for the first time and UKTV becomes a first-time investor.

Jonathan Drake, MD of Impossible Pictures Ltd says: “The dramatic changes in the business of broadcasting in the last 12 months have meant we have had to completely rethink how we put the funding together for a top-end series like Primeval. The fact that the series is so well established and loved both in the UK and overseas has meant that everyone has been willing to do their best to give us the backing we needed. With the continued enthusiasm of co-producers such as ProSieben and the fantastic support of the team at BBC Worldwide we have stitched together a ground-breaking clutch of deals that will guarantee Primeval’s ongoing success.”

Helen Jackson, BBC Worldwide’s Director of Independents added: “There was a real desire between Impossible Pictures, ITV, ProSieben and BBC Worldwide to make this project succeed and to bring Primeval back from the brink of extinction. Our increased investment in the title is a reflection of our belief in the quality of the whole production and its international appeal.”

Richard de Croce, SVP Programming at BBC AMERICA adds: "Primeval is one of BBC AMERICA's all time top ten shows and we're thrilled to be co-producing the new season. It’s an innovative deal securing the future of an innovative show - and we can’t wait to bring it back to U.S. fans.”

The new series will be show run once again by Adrian Hodges and will feature the return of stars from the previous series, including Hannah Spearritt, Andrew Lee Potts and Jason Flemyng, alongside special effects created by the award-winning team at Framestore CFC.

Primeval is one of BBC Worldwide’s most successful drama exports and has been sold to over 45 countries, including Australia, America, Singapore and South Korea. In the UK the show, which broadcast on ITV1, reached audiences of over 5.5 million every week.

About BBC Worldwide

BBC Worldwide Limited is the main commercial arm and a wholly owned subsidiary of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). The company exists to maximize the value of the BBC’s assets for the benefit of the license fee payer and invest in public service programming in return for rights. The company has seven core businesses: Channels, Content & Production, Digital Media, Sales & Distribution, Magazines, Home Entertainment and Global Brands. In 2008/09, BBC Worldwide generated profits of $166 million (£103 million, before exceptionals) on sales of over $1.6 billion (£1 billion).

BBC Worldwide was awarded with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in April 2009. The sassy and straight-talking retail guru Mary Portas saves small independent shop-owners, struggling in today’s market of corporate giants and helps them re-connect with the vision and drive that first got them into the fashion business.
Each week Mary shares the tricks and tips she's learned from her years at the leading edge of fashion retailing including clients Louis Vuitton and Harvey Nichols. She gives the ultimate insider's guide on how to get the most out of shops and shopping and troubleshoots her way around the UK on a mission to help turn around struggling fashion boutiques - one shop at a time.

To experience first-hand what the businesses are really like, Mary visits the boutique while the owners are away. Once they return, Mary delivers her verdict and, after a frank heart to heart talk with the owners, she goes to work, revealing to staff and viewers exactly why their choices are ruining their business.

Having identified the problems, Mary starts turning the shop around: stock, décor and layout are revamped before a glamorous re-launch. With front row seats at London Fashion Week and tough sessions with the key people at some of the UK's leading fashion magazines, Mary uses all the tricks of the trade to whip these shops into fashionable shape. One month later Mary pays a return visit to see whether they have stuck to her rules. Will the place be buzzing with customers? Will the stock be flying off the shelves? Will the owner be working the shop floor like a rock star? Or will the shop and its owner be back where they started, in a fashion black hole?

Tonight, BBC America will premiere the third and last season of ROBIN HOOD. I got a chance to take a look at the first two episodes from the season, and while I still enjoyed the show, there were a few things that I missed from the first two seasons.
If you remember, last season ended with the tragic death of Marian and we sort of knew it would impact this season greatly.
The first episode opens as Robin and his band of outlaws return from the Holy Land. Robin announces that he doesn't want to be Robin Hood anymore and sends his gang away. His new "mission" now is taking revenge on Gisborne for killing Marian. But as you probably guessed, Robin doesn't stay alone for too long, because after all the show is called Robin Hood.

The episode also introduces a new character, Tuck, a traveling monk, who not only helps Robin regain his faith, but also becomes a new member of the gang. So far, I really enjoy him.

But Tuck is not the only new character this season. In episode two, we also meet Kate, a village girl, who through unfortunate circumstances becomes involved with the gang. It will be interesting to see how the dynamic between her and the gang evolves. I also wonder whose heart she will steal (because you know that's going to happen).

Overall, this new season starts out nice. However Marian's death has left too big of a hole to fill. Even the addition of Kate is not enough. Unfortunately, no one could ever replace Marian and the dynamic between her and Robin. It is very clear that this relationship gave something special to the show, and now that it's gone, Robin Hood has lost part of what made it such a great show.

On a positive note, I was really happy to see the rest of the gang back, including Much and Allan a Dale, who are my favorite characters. I think it's still going to be a fun season to watch and I'm curious to find out how it all ends.

So make sure to watch the season 3 premiere of Robin Hood when it premieres tonight, September 12, at 9pm on BBC America.

OCCUPATION – U.S. PREMIERE
Occupation is a searingly powerful drama that captures the lives of three British soldiers caught physically and emotionally in the cross-fire of the Iraq war. Described by one critic as "one of the very best British dramas of the decade," it's written by Peter Bowker, writer of the Golden Globe nominated Viva Blackpool and produced by the makers of Life on Mars and MI-5. Having participated in the invasion, and helped fly a critically injured child from Basra to a UK hospital, three soldiers find it impossible to slot back into civilian life. Driven by very different motives – each heads back to Basra. Sergeant Mike Swift (James Nesbitt, Five Minutes of Heaven, Jekyll) returns for the love of an Iraqi doctor, Aliyah (Lubna Azabal). Corporal Danny Peterson (Stephen Graham, Public Enemies, This Is England) returns for money, setting up a private security firm. Lance Corporal Lee Hibbs (Warren Brown, Shameless) returns because he passionately believes in the mission to rebuild the country and help the Iraqi people - and the mission is nowhere near accomplished. Amid growing sectarian conflict, and a boom time fuelled by billions of dollars from the U.S., their dreams of riches, love and making a difference come to define not just their lives but also the occupation itself. Occupation unveils a tale of wasted billions, lost lives, corporate greed, and a war that has left many questions unanswered.

GREAT NATURAL WONDERS OF THE WORLD
David Attenborough travels across the seven continents in a quest that begins in North America where he witnesses dawn breaking over the forbidding terrain of Death Valley and ends in Antarctica, where he reflects on the extraordinary, beautiful and inspiring natural wonders of the planet.
Great Natural Wonders of the World airs 3:00 p.m. ET/12:00 p.m. PT

GREATEST WILDLIFE SHOW ON EARTH

THE LIFE OF MAMMALS: A WINNING DESIGN – CHANNEL PREMIERE
David Attenborough introduces the audience to the most diverse group of animals ever to live on Earth, from the tiny two-inch pygmy shrew to the enormous blue whale; from the sloth to the swift cheetah; from the naked mole-rat to the human baby. This is the story of 4,000 species which have outlived the dinosaurs and conquered the farthest places on Earth. With bodies kept warm by thick coats of fur and their developing young protected and nourished within their bodies, they have managed to colonize every part of the globe, dry or wet, hot or cold.
The Life of Mammals: A Winning Design premieres 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT

GRIZZLY: NATURE'S ENTREPRENEUR – CHANNEL PREMIERE
Few animals can match the intelligence, resourcefulness or power of the North American brown bear, or "grizzly". This documentary meets the most intelligent and adaptable of the world's eight species of bear, filming 14,000 feet high in the Himalayas, in the Gobi desert and of course in North America. The film reveals the bear's curiosity, playfulness and fighting prowess and its important role in the survival of its environment. Most surprising of all is that - just like us - every grizzly is its own character - in looks, temperament and skills.
Gizzly: Nature's Entrepreneur premieres 6:00 p.m. ET/3:00 p.m. PT

LION: SPY IN THE DEN – CHANNEL PREMIERE
This documentary takes natural-world filmmaking to another level, when the award-winning team of director and cameraman employs remote-control buggy-cameras, buried periscopes and state-of-the-art night vision technology to truly enter the lion's den. When a lion charges, the viewers charge with it, when it rests, we lie alongside. In what is a new achievement for lion specialists, the program is able to examine the fragile alliances between pride males and their relationships with neighboring rivals.
Lion: Spy in the Den premieres 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT

SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH
Sir David Attenborough is one of the world's best-known natural history presenters. His distinguished career spans more than 50 years, during which time he has done more than anyone else to popularize natural history programming and has become one of the world's most respected authorities on wildlife. His combination of charm and enthusiasm, together with concern for conservation and the environment, has been profoundly influential on several generations of viewers.

Born in London on 8 May 1926, Attenborough studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge. He served in the Royal Navy and joined the BBC in 1952 as a trainee producer of documentary programs. In 1954, he became a presenter and launched his famous series, Zoo Quest, which took him to the wilder parts of the world. In 1965, he took one of the top jobs in the BBC, Controller of BBC2, and was responsible for the introduction of color television into Britain. He went on to run both BBC television networks and in 1973, returned to program-making.

In 1979, he wrote and presented Life on Earth, at the time the most ambitious series ever produced by the BBC's Natural History Unit - an estimated 500 million people worldwide watched it. In 1984, came its sequel, The Living Planet, and in 1990, The Trials of Life, the final part of the epic trilogy spanning all life on Earth. This was followed by Life in the Freezer (1993), The Private Life of Plants (1995), The Life of Birds (1998), The Life of Mammals (2002), Life In The Undergrowth (2005) and Life In Cold Blood (2007), all of which received huge acclaim and many awards including the accompanying books and DVDs which topped bestseller lists.

In 2002, Attenborough celebrated 50 years with the BBC with Life On Air, a television biography and bestselling book and on his 80th birthday, in 2006, was on the Galapagos Islands filming giant tortoises for Life In Cold Blood. Other recent projects include The Blue Planet and Planet Earth. Over the years Attenborough has received countless prestigious awards and honorary degrees and in 2005, he was awarded the Order of Merit by the Queen which recognizes exceptional distinction in the arts, sciences and other areas.

As months turn into years, their lives move in directions they could have never imagined. Mike's marriage falls apart as he pursues a love affair with an Iraqi doctor, who is now obliged to work within the country's new religious framework at the hospital. Hibbs is deeply affected by the murder of his closest Iraqi friend, and begins to psychologically unravel. Mercenary Danny's blatant exploitation of the situation leads to even more corruption and chaos. Occupation unveils a tale of wasted billions, lost lives, corporate greed, and a war that has left many questions unanswered.

Writer Peter Bowker talks about the challenge of writing about a war that has been reported on nightly for over five years, "Drama can press the pause button on this tide of information. It can invite us to follow the story of just a few people, and it can ask questions we all relate to - the most important of which is, 'What would I do, faced with the same set of choices?' Here we have a historical situation of epic proportions and the challenge is to make it human and particular."

Check out Matt Smith in costume as the 11th Doctor filming new episodes of DOCTOR WHO.
We have known for a while that David Tennant would not be returning, and also found out that Matt Smith had been chosen to replace him, but now we finally get to see him as the Doctor thanks to BBC (via Scifi Wire).
Next to him is Karen Gillian, who is playing the Doctor's new companion, Amy Pond.
In addition to Matt Smith taking over the role, there were also some additional changes made behind-the-scenes of the show. Steven Moffat is now the new lead writer and executive producer, who will be responsible for the "overall creative direction of the show, as well as plot and character arcs." As a fan of his shows and all his Doctor Who episodes, I cannot wait to see what he has in store for us this new season.

After catching up on the first two seasons of SKINS and falling in love with the show, it was time to watch the first three episodes of season 3, which premieres tonight, August 6, at 9pm on BBC America.
Apart from Effy, Tony's sister and Pandora, whom we also met in season 2, the cast from season 1 and 2 is gone and season 3 introduces the second generation of Skins. This new generation includes Effy and Pandora, whom I mentioned above, Thomas Tomone, who just emigrated from the Congo, Katie and Emily Fitch, two very different twin sisters, Naomi Campbell, who is in no way related to the top model, James Cook, Freddie Mclair and JJ Jones, three childhood best friends.
So how does this new generation compare to the first one? Of course, no one will ever be able to replace the first generation, but I was open to [...]
This is a post from Daemon's TV.

Of course, no one will ever be able to replace the first generation, but I was open to discovering new characters and getting involved in their stories. Unfortunately, so far I don't think the new cast is as compelling as the first one, and neither are their stories. Now don't get me wrong, I still like the show, but the first generation set up my expectations really high and so far this new season hasn't met them.

I have two main issues with this new season:

1) Cook is just not likable at all, and so far I haven't seen any redeeming factors. Now while Chris (from generation 1) was obsessed with sex and came off like a jackass a little at first, there was always something sweet about him. The problem with Cook is that I don't understand why people are friends with him. But I'm hoping we find out more about him throughout the season that will change my opinion.

2) Episode 2 and 3 introduce a sort of villain, a gangster called Johnny White, which I could have done without. It took me out of the story and it just didn't fit with the teen feel.

Other than that, Skins is still a show that I think is worth watching. And I have already set my season pass for it. Plus in its defense, I think Skins is a series that you can only judge once you have seen the overall arch of the story, which I haven't yet. And so I'm expecting plenty of exciting new storylines and a finale that will leave us begging for more.

Don't forget to watch the season 3 premiere of Skins tonight at 9pm on BBC America.

I have a confession to make, when SKINS premiered on BBC America a year ago, I started watching part of the first episode and then just gave up on it.
Why?
Well, it just didn't look like something that I thought I would enjoy because at the time I had so many shows to watch already on my schedule so I wasn't in the mood. Honestly I didn't give Skins a chance.
Fast forward to today (a year later). I recently received some screeners for Season 3 of Skins, which premieres tomorrow, August 6, at 9pm on BBC America, and thought it was time to give the show that has received so many praises another chance.
And so I spent the last week catching up on season 1 and 2 of Skins in order to be able to write my review for season 3.
Well let me tell you, I stand corrected. [...]
This is a post from Daemon's TV.

Not only is Skins a really amazing show, I have become addicted to it. I could not put the remote down and would just watch episodes back to back, cursing whenever I finished a DVD and had to wait for the next batch from Netflix.

It was like, where have you been Skins? How did I not know you before?

I will admit that it takes a couple of episodes to really get into the show, but from episode 1 I realized that I hadn't given Skins a fair chance the first time around. However, I am sort of glad that I only discovered it now because I got to watch both seasons back to back, which was such a great experience.

So what is Skins about? It follows the lives of a few teenagers as they deal with life, love, and heartbreaks. But as opposed to a teenage show on the CW, Skins is gritty and feels true. The cast doesn't look like it has been taken from a magazine page, but actually feels authentic and is relatable. Skins is also not afraid to deal with a lot of taboo subjects that teenagers are faced with truthfully.

But most of all what makes it different from other shows is that each episode focuses on one of the characters of the show and everyone else's story is seen through their eyes and storyline in that episode. It's really brilliant and so well done.

And if I thought season 1 was good, well I was even more blown away by season 2.

The cast is made up of mostly unknown brilliant actors, which only help make you fall in love with the characters and relate to them and the things happening in their lives. These could be people that go to your school or even your friends, which is something I rarely feel in American shows about teenagers. Skins proves once more how brilliant and out of the box British shows are. Although a fun fact is that Dev Patel, whom you probably now know from Slumdog Millionaire plays one of the characters in Skins.

So if you haven't yet, please do yourself a favor and check out Skins, especially if you love teenage dramas like Friday Night Lights.

As for season 3 of Skins, well I will be watching that tonight and will have a review ready for you tomorrow right in time for the premiere tomorrow night at 9pm on BBC America.

I alos posted quite a few pictures from the show a year ago when it first premiered. You can check them out here. I also posted the preview for the show below for you to check out, and an awesome dance scene from the first episode of season 2 (as a So You Think You Can Dance fan, it was definitely something I appreciated).

Check out the trailer, as well as a clip from DOCTOR WHO: The Waters of Mars. This is the second special episode of Doctor Who, which follows "Planet of the Dead." It is expected to air in November 2009 in the UK.
I just cannot get enough of David Tennant as the Doctor and it's really sad to think that this is one of his last episodes, although I can't wait to see it.

With the craziness of Comic Con, I totally forgot to let you guys know about my new British addiction.
It's called BEING HUMAN and it airs on Saturdays at 9pm on BBC America (episode one premiered July 25).
Being Human tells the story of three twenty-somethings roommates, a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost. Here is why the show is so great: it takes all three supernatural creatures that people like to read about or watch the most, and puts them all together.
George (Russell Tovey) and Mitchell (Aidan Turner) both work in a hospital as porters, while each dealing with the problems that come with being respectively a werewolf and a vampire.
Even though George's transformation only happens during the full moon, it does impact his ability to have a meaningful relationship. As for Mitchell, he has to deal with the duality of craving blood and wanting to leave the vampire side of [...]
This is a post from Daemon's TV.

As for Mitchell, he has to deal with the duality of craving blood and wanting to leave the vampire side of him behind.

Annie (Lenora Crichlow) is the ghost haunting George and Mitchell's apartment, who also becomes their third roommate by default. Annie died not too long after her and her fiance moved into the apartment she now is stuck in, and she longs for him, who is now the boys' landlord.

The three of them start to build a bond and support each other with each of their secrets.

In episode two, George meets another werewolf, Tully, who shows him a different way to deal with being a werewolf.

This is an interesting episode and explores a little more of George's feelings about being a werewolf. It's not the best one, but it's definitely a good one.

While I really enjoy Being Human, it is not as dark as I expected it to be when I first heard what it was about. That said, after watching three episodes, I am definitely hooked and it is definitely one of my favorite shows of the summer. The cast is really great together, and I particularly love Russell Tovey who plays George, I could watch him all day, he's hilarious.

If you enjoy supernatural shows about werewolves, vampires and/or ghosts, then you're definitely going to want to check out Being Human on Saturdays at 9pm on BBC America. The first season only has 6 episodes, so it's definitely perfect for the summer. And if you really get into it, the good news is they are working on a second season, which is schedule to air in January 2010 in the UK.
