"Hannah Montana's" Moises Arias Stars In "Moises Rules!"

"Moises Rules!" a new short-form sports series that invites kids to challenge Moises Arias (Rico in "Hannah Montana") in fun sports competitions, including foam tetherball and finger football, premieres MONDAY, DECEMBER 7 (5:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD. If he wins, Moises gets the bragging rights, "Moises Rules."

New features and exclusive show content will debut Tuesday, November 10 at www.DisneyXD.com, where viewers can send a shout out to Moises, play sports-themed games and download all-new wallpapers.

Moises Arias has mad sports skills and an unstoppable attitude when challenged by kids in a variety of sports competitions. The challengers include 13-year-old Ross "The Boss," 11-year-old James, 12-year-old Larry and 14-year-old Kenton.

The programming lineup is:

Monday, December 7
"Mad B-Ball Shoot-Out" - Moises takes on Ross "The Boss" in a wild basketball shootout with rotating backboards, moving targets and hoops on motorized vehicles.

Tuesday, December 8
"Finger Football Showdown!" - Moises takes on Kenton in a finger football showdown. The place is packed with Kenton's family and friends as Moises takes the challenge.

Wednesday, December 9
"Supreme Tetherball" - Moises and James compete in tetherball over a giant foam pit. The contenders must keep their balance to avoid taking a plunge, all while trying to wrap the ball around the pole.

Thursday, December 10
"Dash and Splash!" -The crowd goes wild to see Larry and Moises on a super water slide to see if "Moises Rules" or if Larry can defeat him in a "Backyard Slide-Off" competition.

Starring are Demi Lovato as Allison "Sonny" Munroe, Tiffany Thornton as Tawni Hart, Sterling Knight as Chad Dylan Cooper, Brandon Mychal Smith as Nico Harris, and Doug Brochu as Grady Mitchell.

Nancy McKeon ("Facts of Life") has a recurring role as Connie Munroe. Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham guest stars as the security guard Jeff and Christine Moore ("90210") guest stars as Tammi Hart.

The episode was written by Josh Silverstein and Lanny Horn, and directed by Eric Dean Seaton.

Fresh off its most-watched season ever, Friday’s third-season opener of hit original series “Wizards of Waverly Place” (8:00 – 8:30 p.m.) ranked as TV’s No. 1 telecast in Kids 6-11 (2.0 million/8.3 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.7 million/7.0 rating), and cable’s No. 1 scripted telecast in Total Viewers (4.6 million).

Impressively, fronted by “Wizards of Waverly Place,” Disney Channel held Friday’s Top 17 TV telecasts in Kids 6-11, the Top 14 TV telecasts in Tweens 9-14, and 10 of cable’s Top 14 scripted telecasts in Total Viewers.

· Versus its Season 2 premiere (9/12/08), “Wizards of Waverly Place’s” 3rd season debut out-performed by nearly 2 million in Total Viewers (4.6 million vs. 2.8 million), and posted impressive gains in Kids 6-11 (43% - 2.0 million vs. 1.4 million) and Tweens 9-14 (55% - 1.7 million vs. 1.1 million).

· “Wizards of Waverly Place” towered over year-ago time period levels, increasing by 15% in Total Viewers (4.6 million vs. 4.0 million), by 18% in Kids 6-11 (2.0 million vs. 1.7 million) and by 21% in Tweens 9-14 (1.7 million vs. 1.4 million).

PRODUCTION HAS BEGUN ON NEW MUSIC-FILLED DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE "STARSTRUCK," STARRING STERLING KNIGHT AND DANIELLE CAMPBELL

Production has begun on "Starstruck," a music-filled Disney Channel Original Movie starring Sterling Knight ("Sonny With A Chance") and introducing Danielle Campbell. Slated to premiere in 2010, the movie is filming in and around Los Angeles at landmark locations including Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset Boulevard, the Hollywood Sign, Grauman's Chinese Theater and the Venice Boardwalk.

The story follows Jessica Olson (played by Campbell), a down-to-earth girl from the Midwest who collides (literally) with Hollywood's teen heartthrob, pop star Christopher Wilder (played by Knight). They wind up on a love-struck adventure in Southern California, but their bond is tested when she returns home and he publicly denies their relationship.

Also starring are Brandon Mychal Smith ("Sonny With A Chance") as Stubby, Christopher's childhood best friend; Maggie Castle ("The Time Traveler's Wife") as Sara Olson, Jessica's older, star struck sister; and Dan O'Connor ("Malcolm in the Middle") and Beth Littleford (Disney XD's upcoming "I'm in the Band", "Rules of Engagement") as Dean and Barbara Olson, Jessica and Sara's parents.

Knight and Smith have become familiar faces to Disney Channel fans since the debut of their hit series "Sonny With A Chance." Since its February 2009 premiere, "Sonny With A Chance" is TV's No. 1 program in its Sunday 8:00 p.m. time period in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, and ranks among TV’s Top 5 programs overall in the target demos.

All-new episodes of Disney•Pixar's "Cars Toons," an animated short series directed by Academy Award©-winner John Lasseter with Rob Gibbs co-directing and starring Lightning McQueen's rusty friend Mater, will debut beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20 on Disney Channel, Disney XD and ABC Family. They are titled "Unidentified Flying Mater," "Monster Truck Mater," "Heavy Metal Mater" and "Tokyo Mater."

Mark Mothersbaugh ("Devo") composed the music for three episodes and BT ("The Fast and the Furious"), a prominent composer of dance and electronic music, scored "Tokyo Mater."

The four new stories follow the popular shorts that began debuting in October 2008 and which have reached 22.9 million Kids 2-11, or 56% of all kids in that age group in the U.S., and 67.5 million total unique viewers.

"Cars Toons" are directed by John Lasseter, ("Cars," "Toy Story 2," "A Bug's Life" and "Toy Story") and co-directed by Rob Gibbs ("Cars," "Finding Nemo," "Monsters, Inc" and "Toy Story 2"). Kori Rae ("The Incredibles" and "Monsters Inc.") is the producer. Victor Navone ("Cars," "The Incredibles," "Finding Nemo" and "Monsters, Inc.") co-directed the episode "Tokyo Mater."

In "Unidentified Flying Mater," premiering Friday, November 20 on Disney Channel, Mater meets a cute little bucktoothed UFO named Mator, takes him out for a night of fun and they quickly become best friends. But when Mator is captured by the military, Mater and Lightning McQueen come to the rescue.

Subsequent episodes to premiere in 2010 are:

"Monster Truck Mater"
Mater is a professional wrestler who works his way up the ranks from amateur to World Champion Monster Truck Wrestler, wrestling all kinds of characters along the way. When faced with his biggest opponent yet, Mater tags in his "tag team partner," Frightening McMean.

"Heavy Metal Mater"
Mater is a rock star in a heavy metal band. He starts out in a garage band and rises to the top with his hit song, "Dad Gum." Lightning McQueen joins him on stage in the middle of a huge concert and they rock into history.

"Tokyo Mater"
A routine towing assignment lands Mater in Tokyo, where he is challenged to a drift-style race against a nefarious gang leader and his posse of ninjas. With the help of his friend, "Dragon" Lightning McQueen, and some special modifications, Mater attempts to drift to victory and become "Tow-ke-O Mater, King of all Drifters."
