Screening Notes
They call Episode 10 “Revelations,” and between the screening itself, the cast members’ post-show banter and three pairs of gorgeous legs, it was a night with plenty of them.
After swearing the audience to a solemn oath of secrecy (Moore: “Repeat after me: I… state your name…” Audience: “I… state your name…” Moore: “Very good…”) Producer Ron Moore introduced the episode, which looked incredible projected on the world-famous Cinerama Dome, and sounded even better in HD Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.
The audience of fans, press, Guild members and BSG staff cheered wildly at the show opening, and erupted in laughter and applause throughout, totally enthralled with the spectacle and the giddy thrill of being the first to see how the first half of Season 4 would end.
And what an ending! For sheer “punch you in the gut” moments, it doesn’t quite approach the cylons arriving to occupy New Caprica, or the revelation of the Final Four; but it’s safe to say BSG fans will not be disappointed. Those who appreciate some stunning visuals (and who doesn’t?) will be especially content. The effects crew does some inspired work here, and it was a genuine privilege to see it on the really, really big screen.

If history has taught us anything, it is that this week’s BATTLESTAR GALACTICA is going to reveal exactly ………. Nothing. I am really disappointed with the way the information has been trickling down. BSG writers seem to be asleep at the switch this time around.

Ok, every week, it’s getting to be the same on BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. The story goes absolutely nowhere. I have cut them some slack but I need some developments here not just some character study. I am genuinely pissed with the show at this point. They can’t keep saying “all will be revealed” without actually revealing anything.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA - “The Road Less Traveled” (S04E05) Pictures and Video

A rebellion is brewing in this latest episode of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. Starbuck is being questioned by her team and we can only wonder why. This season is a little slow for me. I wish they would go ahead and start revealing more about the mystery behind the Final Five and also if Starbuck is one of them or not. If they continue down this path of mystery, the show might suffer the same faith as Heroes when they tried to pull that last season. Come on BSG writers, there is enough anticipation, spill it already!

Why we like it: Out of all the shocking moments from Battlestar Galactica, this one has to top them all! Who would have thought that Tory, Anders, Chief Tyrol and fraking Saul Tigh were cylons. This has to be one of the best turn of events in a TV show ever, and that is why this is our quote of the day.

Name: KARA “STARBUCK” THRACE
TV Show: Battlestar Galactica which airs Fridays at 9pm on Sci-Fi.
Actor portraying her: Katee Sackhoff
Why we like her: Starbuck can be stubborn and tough, but after four seasons of Battlestar Galactica, it’s clear that there is so much more to the character. The appeal of the character is that you never know what to expect from her, one moment she is screaming her love for Lee Adama at the top of her lungs and the next she marries Anders. But behind her facade, Starbuck has a good heart and that is why we like her.
