Angel of Death
Synopsis: Angel of Death is an action packed thriller about a remorseless assassin, Eve (Zoe Bell), employed by a ruthless crime family. After suffering a severe head trauma while on the job, she begins to hallucinate and becomes haunted by her victims. As a result of her injury, Eve is driven to seek revenge on those who ordered the hits in the first place -- her mob employers.
Cast: Zoe Bell
Recommendations: This is the complete miniseries that was released on Crackle.com. I started watching it and enjoyed it, although I never ended up finishing it.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA & the UN LA Event

I recently went to a BATTLESTAR GALACTICA event about "Television's Role in Making Global Issues Relevant" in anticipation of the Emmy nominations. It was a small panel including Ronald D. Moore, David Eick, Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, UN Expert Craig Mokhiber (Deputy Director - Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights), and Steven Siqueira (Department of Political Affairs - Office of the US). Their visit to the UN in New York was such a success that they decided to have another event in Los Angeles.
It was really great to see people from Battlestar Galactica together, especially now that the show has ended. Which leads me to saying that I really hope this year will be the one for Battlestar Galactica to finally be nominated for some Emmys. It would be great for it to finally be recognized for what an amazing show it was, with really strong [...]

When Frakking Goes Wrong...

Battlestar Galactica has ruined me forever.
So here is what happened. I was in my car and listening to Morning Edition on NPR. (Yes, I listen to the radio too. Turns out you can't drive AND watch TV at the same time. Stupid State Law.)
When I heard the topic of the next report, I almost spit out my coffee. The title of the report was
"Face-Off Over 'Fracking': Water Battle Brews On Hill"
My heart skips a beat as I start imagining that there is maybe news of a new 'Battlestar Galactica' series. Needless to say that I was slightly disapointed when it turns out that the topic of show was about....wait for it...."Hydraulic Fracturing" aka "Fracking".
Now for those of you who are unfamiliar with "Hydraulic Fracturing", it is
the process of injecting a million gallons or more of water and chemicals deep underground to pry out gas that's locked away [...]
