WAREHOUSE 13 "MacPherson" Review Episode 12 (Season Finale)

I just finished watching an advance copy of the season finale of WAREHOUSE 13 episode 12 "MacPherson" airing tomorrow Tuesday September 22 on SyFy (9-10 p.m. ET). I wanted to share an early review of the episode.
The story is less artifact driven and more character driven. MacPhearson is openly trying to sell some artifacts on the open market which obviously grabs the attention of the Warehouse 13 gang.
This leads to some really cool and tension filled moments with Artie, Pete and Myka going toe to toe against MacPhearson, Warehouse style.
The ultimate resolution is unexpected and will affect one of our good guys in a very deadly way. I wish I could tell you more but you have to see it to believe it.
"MacPherson" is by far one of the strongest episodes of Warehouse 13. The only thing I can say is that I am glad that there is a second season because this episode will end with the mother of all cliffhangers.
In the meantime, check out more pictures of WAREHOUSE 13 "MacPherson" episode.

EDDIE MCCLINTOCK from Warehouse 13 Exclusive Interview
September 15, 2009 by Sandie

I recently got a chance to speak to EDDIE MCCLINTOCK who plays Pete Lattimer on Syfy's Warehouse 13.
As season 1 is almost coming to an end (two more episodes left), Eddie McClintock teased us as to what's coming up, including a possible death. He also talked about Pete and Myka's relationship and explained the art of schmacting to us, as well as much more.
So enjoy the interview and don't forget to watch Warehouse 13 on Tuesdays at 9pm on Syfy.
Congratulations on shattering records this season.
Eddie McClintock: I guess so, right? That's been kind of cool. I had a previous record, a show that was cancelled the quickest.
Now you have them both.
Eddie McClintock: That's right. If you can't have a record at being the best you might as well have a record of being the worst. At least you're in the record books.
You're also getting picked up for another season which is exciting as you're coming to the end of this season.
Eddie McClintock: Yeah, two more episodes. It's great. I've been doing this for twelve years and this is my fifth show and I've done ten pilots and this is the first time that I've ever been lucky enough to move into a second season with a show. So I'm very grateful.
How does that feel then?
Eddie McClintock: It feels great. I'm cautiously optimistic. I just keep hoping for the best. You just keep hoping that there's forward momentum in it. It seems as though the show is being well received in London and people seem to like it here. I just want to have some job security for a while. I have two babies.
WAREHOUSE 13 "Nevermore" Early Review Episode 11
September 14, 2009 by Eric
I had an opportunity to watch the upcoming WAREHOUSE 13 episode "Nevermore" (episode 11) which will air tomorrow Tuesday September 14 on SyFy.
In "Nevermore", Myka's dad, Warren Bering, played by Michael Hogan (Colonel Saul Tigh on Battlestar Galactica) falls under the spell of an artifact sent over by an anonymous sender. This sends Myka and Pete scrambling to try and find out a way to deactivate the artifact. In order to give you a sense of what you can expect in this episode, let me break down what you will be treated to.
Artifact
The "Nevermore" artifact is pretty cool. It originates from a book, written by Edgar Allan Poe, which has a pretty potent and deadly side effect on Myka's dad. Is it the coolest artifact ever? No. Is it still intriguing enough that it is worth building an episode around it? Yes.
Myka
In this episode, Myka (Joanne Kelly) confronts her inner demons as she has to face her dad with whom she has a difficult relationship. This gives us an opportunity of seeing a more vulnerable side of the character that Joanne Kelly portrays perfectly.
Pete
Pete is just Pete. When Myka is called over at her dad's bedside, he doesn't hesitate to come with her and act as a supporting friend. He still manages to pull classic Pete quips, especially one hilarious one which involves Myka's mom.
Artie
Artie is still desperately trying to locate and apprehend MacPherson. This causes tense moments and a very cool opening scene. The reason behind this obsession is somewhat explained in this episode though.
Claudia
I am so glad that Allison Scagliotti was cast in this role. In addition to Pete's antics, I think she brings a well needed dose of comic relief that make Warehouse 13 even more enjoyable. In "Nevermore", she certainly doesn't disappoint.
Overall, "Nevermore" is a standard Warehouse 13 episode in the fact that it delivers everything you come to expect in the show: an artifact, a conflict, a villain, funny quips and just all out entertainment.
Stay tuned next week as I will have an early review of the season finale episode of Warehouse 13 titled "MacPherson".
