The beer will continue flowing at Crowley’s Tavern as TBS orders up a fourth season of its critically acclaimed original sitcom from Sony Pictures Television, MY BOYS. The series stars Jordana Spiro (The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard; Must Love Dogs) as PJ Franklin, a 20-something sports columnist in Chicago. TBS has lined up nine episodes for the new season, which is slated to launch in 2010.

Co-starring in MY BOYS as PJ’s mostly male group of close friends are Kyle Howard (Related, Orange County) as boyfriend Bobby, Reid Scott (American Dreams) as best friend Brendan, Michael Bunin (Scrubs) as Kenny and Jamie Kaler (The Family Stone) as Mike. Kellee Stewart (Guess Who?) co-stars as Stephanie, a former schoolmate and the only female influence in PJ’s life.

“MY BOYS has consistently grown its audience of young adults through a combination of funny, smartly written scripts, high-quality production and an enormously talented cast,” said Michael Wright, executive vice president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “We look forward to working with the cast and crew on another successful season.”

MY BOYS premiered to critical praise on TBS in November 2006. When the series returned in summer 2007, it scored 22% growth among adults 18-34. Earlier this year, the show’s third season garnered 11% growth among adults 18-34. MY BOYS is particularly strong among DVR users, delivering 72% growth among adults 18-34 and 52% growth among viewers when comparing Live to Live + 7 viewing for the third season.

At the center of MY BOYS is PJ Franklin (Spiro), who spends her days writing a sports column for a major Chicago newspaper and her nights hanging out with friends, playing poker or sharing drinks at their favorite hangout, Crowley’s. During the series’ third season, PJ and fellow sportswriter Bobby (Howard) finally began dating after he called off his marriage to a Swedish nanny.

PJ’s gang includes Brendan (Scott), a DJ fired when his radio station changed formats, creating the opportunity for him to open a new club; Kenny (Bunin), the owner of a sports memorabilia store who has finally found his mojo with women; Mike (Kaler), a self-appointed ladies man who will try just about anything to get women to pay attention to him; and Stephanie (Stewart), who attended journalism school with PJ and recently became a relationship guru when her book was a bestseller.

MY BOYS comes to TBS from Pariah and Two Out Rally Productions, Inc., in association with Sony Pictures Television. Creator Betsy Thomas (Run of the House), Jamie Tarses and Gavin Polone (Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Gilmore Girls) serve as executive producers.

MY BOYS "Private Eyes" (Season 3 Episode 2)

Finally, we will find out what happens at Bobby's wedding when MY BOYS returns tonight for its third season.

Of course I already know what happens since I have seen the first two episodes of the new season, but since I can't really tell you too much, I will tell you that you won't be disappointed.

The thing that I always find happens when I watch My Boys is that each episode feels really short, even after two episodes, I went "that's it? I'm already done?!" I could watch this show all day long with episodes back to back, that's how easy and enjoyable it is to watch.

And that's why it's so exciting to find that after 3 seasons, My Boys is still as good as the first day.

So far this season seems to be moving in an interesting directions, and I of course am looking forward to finding out what happens next to P.J. and the gang.

Episode Synopsis: "Take My Work Wife... Please" - Now that it has been revealed that the coworker with whom Andy has been spending so much time is actually a woman (guest star Nia Vardalos), everyone is worried they’re having an affair. To prove they’re not, Andy sets Mike up on a date with her. PJ agrees to help Bobby plan his wedding, since his parents have turned it into a nightmare. Kenny is being pursued by Caitlin, the girl from Mike’s improv class, indicating he’s gained the mojo that Mike seems to have lost. Brendan gets a job temping in the mailroom at Andy’s law firm, but all it does is make him feel like a failure. Stephanie’s new book has come out, and they guys are shocked to find thinly veiled versions of themselves in it.

MY BOYS - "Dinner Party" (S02E02) Pictures and Videos

After a long break, MY BOYS returns tonight, June 12, for season 2 at 9:30pm on TBS with all new episodes.

As I have previously teased, I have already seen the first two episodes and have the answers to all your questions, but unfortunately you won't get anything out of me.

What I will say is that the second season starts off strong as we find ourselves back on the plane with P.J. and are about to discover who the secret person on the plane is.

And yes, they do go to Italy, but everything doesn't turn out exactly according to plan.

Back home, the boys are back doing what they do best, hanging out at Crowley’s. Unfortunately, some of Mike's new found love for imitating Matthew McConaughey creates a chain reaction that results in everybody getting kicked out of the Crowley's and spending time in Andy's new car instead.

Overall, it just feels good to see to gang back on TV and the episode doesn't disappoint at all, so make sure you tune in!

Review: MY BOYS - "The Transitioning" (S02E01)

The long awaited premiere of the second season of MY BOYS is almost here (June 12) and you will finally know the true identity of the person on the plane with PJ (and no, the pictures and videos don't reveal anything).

In addition to that, it also means that the whole gang is back to make us laugh and have a great time. After watching the first two episodes, I think it's safe to say this new seasons looks very promising. Too bad the show is only a half hour long.

Back home, the guys are concerned the Bobby isn’t answering any of their calls or text messages, leading them to worry he might have been kidnapped. Brandon is worried about impending format changes at the radio station. Andy seems to have sold his soul to the devil in his new job as a big-time corporate lawyer. And Mike makes the big mistake of sleeping with a waitress from Crowley’s and then not calling her afterwards, prompting the entire gang to be banned from the premises for two weeks.

MY BOYS - "The Transitioning" (S02E01) Pictures and Videos

MY BOYS ended on Monday, but not before getting renewed for a second season (yes, it's only the second season, the first season was split up in two parts). That's right, My Boys will be back and we'll find out who P.J. invited to Italy.

Since I didn't follow the show regularly, it's hard for me to make a call, but I'm sure you all have your own idea of who is in that plane to Italy.

By the way, does this ending remind anyone of the Veronica Mars first season finale? When Veronica opens the door and says "I was hoping it would be you" to an unknown person to us (the audience). We had to wait for the second season to find out it was our beloved bad-boy Logan. Oh, how I miss Veronica Mars!

GREEK "Black & White And Read All Over" - 9pm ABC Family
Oh no, it's the season finale tonight, you mean I'm going to have to wait a whole year to see the next adventures of Rusty, Cappie, Evan, and Cassie?! I love this show, I didn't not expect to like it that much when I first heard about it, but turns out... It's good to know that Greek was picked up for a second season, at least now I can look forward to season 2!

THE CLOSER "Till Death Do Us Part Two" - 9pm TNT
Tonight is the Season Finale. I haven't watched The Closer the last few weeks, but you know I'm watching it tonight, because 1) it's the season finale 2) what else am I going to watch? Plus, we all know how much I love Kyra Sedgwick.

MY BOYS "110 Percent Solution" & "Rome, If You Want To" - 10pm & 10:30pm TBS
Season Finale tonight, and I will be tuning in, mostly because I have nothing else to watch and I could use a fun show.

KYLE XY "House Of Cards" - 8pm ABC Family
Tonight we follow Kyle as he tries to find the key in order to open the box he found in the ruins of ZZyzx. Kyle XY is always I pleasure to watch no matter the story of the episode.

HEARTLAND "Smile" - 8pm TNT
So I think tonight will be my last episode watching Heartland. I just don't really care about it anymore and don't have time to keep it on my schedule. Too bad because I do like Treat Williams. I just don't think this show rose up to my expectations. I guess I was hoping for an Everwood type of show, but let's face it, Heartland is not it.

GREEK "Friday Night Frights" - 9pm ABC Family
Another crazy episode. Greek is such a fun show to watch. It always puts me in a good mood. And Cappie is my favorite character, that guy is so fun, I just wish Casey would get back together with him.

HELL'S KITCHEN - 9pm FOX
Tonight is the season finale as we learn who is going to win Hell's Kitchen. Will it be Bonnie or Rock? My money is on Rock, I think he deserves it more than Bonnie.

THE CLOSER "Blindsided" - 9pm TNT
Kyra Sedgwick is back in all her brilliantness.

WEEDS "Doing The Backstroke" - 10pm Showtime
Weeds starts a whole new season tonight. I gave up watching the show after the first season, I think it just wasn't as interesting to me after a while. Although I have to say the promo for Season 3 looks awesome. Check it out below.

SAVING GRACE "Would You Want Me To Tell You?" - 10pm TNT
Still on the first episode people, but I'm working on it.

MY BOYS "Dirty Little Secrets" - 10pm TBS
Something lighter to enjoy. My Boys is a fun show, not my favorite but definitely great to relax after a long day.

CALIFORNICATION "Pilot Episode" - 10:30pm Showtime
The series premiere starts tonight. Honestly, I am not really excited about Californication, I have seen the promos and all, but I am waiting to see the pilot to make my final decision. I do like David Duchovny, I have great memories of him in the X-Files, I used to watch it every week when I was a kid. I'll let you know what I think of Californication as soon as I watch it.
