THE BIll ENGVALL SHOW returns to tbs for its third season this Saturday, July 18, at 9pm.

We will be getting back to back episodes, so get ready for a full hour of Bill Engvall and his TV family.

I have seen the first two episodes and if you are a fan of the show, then you will be happy to know that The Bill Engvall Show returns just the way you like it. In the first episode "Give Me a Break," the family is dealing with the recession and realize they might not have enough money to send Lauren to spring break as promised. In the second episode, "You Decide," Bill thinks it's time for him to start making some decisions around the house, but let's just say that it's not as easy as Susan makes it seem.

I don't usually watch The Bill Engvall Show on a regular basis, but I do enjoy it when I do watch a few episodes here and there. It's just a relaxing and entertaining half hour, especially when I don't want to watch something too intense or dark.

I also recently got a chance to visit the set of The Bill Engvall Show, as well as watch the filming for one of the upcoming episodes.

This is a sitcom and so obviously there aren't some big storylines coming up that will surprise you, but the cast seemed happy to be back working and did mention a few things that would be coming up. For instance, the episode that was filming that week centered on Trent buying his first car, and if you have come to know anything about Trent is that he probably won't end up with the car Bill and Susan would have liked for him. You'll have to tune in to find out exactly what he spends his hard earned money on.

This season we also meet Bill's brother, Danny (played by Stephen Dunham), who just hit it big after one of his investment opportunities actually pays off.

So make sure you tune in tomorrow, Saturday July 18, at 9pm on tbs for a whole new season of The Bill Engvall Show.

THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW Set Visit & Season 3 Review

THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW will air two Christmas special episodes back to back tonight at 8pm on TBS.

If you are a fan of the show, I highly recommend you don't miss them. They really put you in the mood for Christmas (although I do wish they had aired them closer to Christmas time), plus I think they are really sweet to watch with you family.

THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW - "Ask Your Mother" (S02E02) Pictures and Videos

THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW returns tonight, June 12, with an all new episode at 9pm on TBS.

Although I did not see all of the episodes from season 1, I did watch a few and really enjoyed them. It is just a great family show.

Now that I have seen the first two episodes from Season 2, I can honestly say that The Bill Engvall Show is coming back as strong as ever, with new smart and funny storylines.

The night starts off with the first episode entitled "But That's Not Fair." The kids decide to go on strike after Susan and Bill ask them to clean the garage for free (the horror!). The episode also features a cell phone injustice! Oh yeah, they are back!

I would definitely recommend that you sit down with your family tonight and watch the return of The Bill Engvall Show. You'll spend a great, fun, and relaxing half hour.

Review: THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW - Season 2 Premiere

THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW returns for its second season on Thursday, June 12, and after our set visit, I will admit that I am very excited about this season. I have already seen the first two episode and they are fun. The Bill Engvall Show is a really great show to watch with the whole family and the best part is that even if you haven't seen the first season, you can still watch season 2 and pretty much understand the story.

Episode Synopsis: "But That's Not Fair" - Bill and Susan realize the kids have been receiving an allowance but not pulling their own weight around the house to earn it. THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW - "But That's Not Fair" (S02E01) Pictures and Videos

Yesterday I spent the day on the set of three of TBS' shows, including Frank TV, The Bill Engvall Show, and My Boys along with other members of the press. Apart from being a really great and fun day, we were able to gather some information about the new season of each show.

Starting with THE BILL ENGVALL SHOW, which premieres on June 12 at 9pm on TBS.

First of all I would like to start by saying that Bill Engvall is a great stand-up comedian and that if you haven't checked out his show yet, you should.

On to our set visit of The Bill Engvall Show. When we arrived on the set, the cast was rehearsing a scene for a future episode. They of course took a break to come and say hello, and let me tell you, they are the nicest people. Bill Engvall gave us a tour of the set and you could tell how happy and proud he was about the show, he even got me excited about it.

Some of the sets that were added included a basketball court, which is going to appear in the episode they were filming this week (apparently there is going to be a face off between Bill and Trent), a nail salon for some mother/daughter bonding between Susan and Lauren, and finally we will get our first look at Lauren's bedroom this season.

Once the tour was over, we sat down to chat with Bill Engvall (Bill Pearson), Nancy Travis (Susan Pearson), Tim Meadows (Paul DuFrayne), Jennifer Lawrence (Lauren Pearson), Graham Patrick Martin (Trent Pearson), and Skyler Gisondo (Bryan Pearson).

Here are some of the highlights from our conversation:

The new season is going to be even funnier than it was last year, especially now that everybody is more comfortable with their characters. For example, Bill Engvall mentioned an episode which features a story about Susan always picking bad anniversary gifts for Bill.

We talked about some of the reasons for the success of the show, and they explain it as being a result of their trying to find what is real in their family portrayal. In addition, The Bill Engvall Show is, as they put it, "dirty without profanity," which appeals to people.

Apart from that, what really struck me about the cast is how much of a family they really are. Bill Engvall is definitely a father figure for the cast, which definitely helps in making each episode more credible.

Overall, this was a great experience and the cast and crew were very welcoming. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more from the second season of The Bill Engvall Show, which premieres June 12 at 9pm on TBS.

And to finish, I would like to share one final fun fact, when asked whether he was tired to see his name everywhere, Bill Engvall, after taking a moment to think, just honestly answered "no," and that's why we love him!
