A CRIMINAL MINDS finale calls for something special and I hope that’s what we will get with tonight’s episode, “Lo-Fi.” The team is going to have an interesting case on their hands and I for one expect a killer ending (no pun intended).

CRIMINAL MINDS - “Elephant’s Memory” (S3E16) Pictures and Video

April 15, 2008

CRIMINAL MINDS - Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Agent Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore, center) and Owen Savage (Cody Kasch) in “Elephant’s Memory”

Reid takes central stage in this episode of CRIMINAL MINDS as he seems to relate to the suspect in more ways than one. I like Reid but his character is a perfect reminder that being smart is not everything it is cracked up to be.

Don’t forget to watch Criminal Minds “Elephant’s Memory” on Wednesday, April 16, at 9pm on CBS.

Procedural Update: CRIMINAL MINDS “A Higher Power” (S3E15) Review

April 9, 2008

Criminal Minds - The Team

The CRIMINAL MINDS Team is back tracking a serial killer who is acting like an angel of death. So here is our review of this latest BAU adventure “A Higher Power”:

The Good
Most of the characters were performing just right. Reid was on fire as usual breaking it down in his usual nerdy way. Garcia was being all mellow with her witty remark. Rossi is coming into his role as Team Leader very nicely

The Bad
The story was a little predictable plus they revealed the bad guy way too early on this one.

The Ugly
The actual bad guy in this episode was not very believable. Don’t get me wrong. I usually like Scott Michael Campbell but his character was not a really scary bad guy.

Overall, this was a standard straight to point procedurally acceptable episode of Criminal Minds. I liked it just fine.

What did you guys think?

Procedural Update: CRIMINAL MINDS Recap - “True Night” (3×10)

November 29, 2007

CRIMINAL MINDS - Frankie Muniz as Jonny McHale in “True Night”

[Warning: This post may contain spoilers]

Let’s talk about the latest CBS’ CRIMINAL MINDS episode, “True Night” (Season 3 Episode 10). What a trip!

This was a different episode that we are used to, mainly due to the fact that Frankie Muniz was guest starring and the episode focused on him more than the FBI team.

I personally really enjoyed “True Night” and Frankie Muniz’ performance as comic book artist Jonny McHale really drew me in. The back and forth between the comic look and the “reality” look added a new dimension and was an original way to tell the story through the eyes of Jonny McHale, plus it reminded me of the “Sin City” look, which I love. CRIMINAL MINDS - “True Night” (3×10) Pictures, Promo, and Comments

CRIMINAL MINDS - Frankie Muniz in “True Night”

I had to mention this episode of CRIMINAL MINDS “True Night” just for the fact that Frankie Muniz guest stars. Especially since I just mentioned that Malcolm in the Middle was my #5 all time TV show.

I have been watching Criminal Minds for the last two weeks - two weeks ago because I wanted to see the transition from Gideon (Mandy Patinkin) and Rossi (Joe Mantegna) and then last week to find out what happened to Garcia. This week I’m going to watch it again 1) because Frankie Muniz guest stars 2) I have been enjoying the last two episodes. Seriously, I forgot how good this show is.

If you are into the whole psychological aspect of criminals, Criminal Minds is a very interesting show to watch. That’s what makes it different from all the other procedural shows. This one is absolutely the best procedural show for me.

Don’t forget to watch Criminal Minds Wednesday at 9pm on CBS.

Check out a promo and more Frankie Muniz pictures from Criminal Minds “True Night” below.
