JERICHO - “Patriots and Tyrants” (S02E07) Pictures

March 25, 2008

JERICHO - Mary (Clare Carey), Eric (Kenneth Mitchell), Stanley (Bred Beyer), Mimi (Alicia Coppola), Jimmy (Bob Stephenson), Emily (Ashley Scott) and Bill (Richard Speight, Jr.) in “Patriots and Tyrants”

It breaks my heart to put these pictures of the last episode from JERICHO up. I still cannot believe that they cancelled Jericho, again! All I can say is enjoy that last episode.

And like my friend told me the other day, they better wrap the story up! But my guess is, they won’t and I think it’s probably because they thought they were going to come back for a third season…snif

Don’t forget to watch Jericho “Patriots and Tyrants” tonight, March 25, at 10pm on CBS.

For now check out more pictures for Jericho “Patriots and Tyrants” below.

JERICHO cancelled! (Again!) - 3/21/2008

March 21, 2008

Jericho Cancelled

Yes, it’s true, CBS has done it again, they have canceled JERICHO and I think this time for good.

According to Watch with Kristen, CBS has informed the producers and cast of Jericho that there won’t be any additional episodes and have released the following statement:

“The March 25 episode of Jericho will be the series finale. Without question, there are passionate viewers watching this program; we simply wish there were more. We thank an engaged and spirited fan base for keeping the show alive this long, and an outstanding team of producers, cast and crew that went through creative hoops to deliver a compelling, high quality second season. We have no regrets bringing the show back for a second try. We listened to our viewers, gave the series an opportunity to grow, and the producers put a great story on the screen. We’re proud of everyone’s efforts.”

Well, that sucks. Not only was Jericho canceled once, it was cancelled twice. That must hurt. And I was starting to like this season even more than last.

Damn you CBS! (Please don’t cancel Moonlight as well!)

What do you guys think about the second cancellation of Jericho?

Review: JERICHO “Condor” (S02E02)

February 19, 2008

JERICHO - Skeet Ulrich as Jake and Esai Morales as Beck in “Condor”

I wanted to take this time to give you a quick review of tonight’s new episode of JERICHO.

After last week’s premiere, Jericho is finally back. How happy were you to see Jake and the gang? But it doesn’t stop here. Tonight’s episode is obviously a continuation of last week’s, but I will say, “Condor” is not as exciting as “Reconstruction” was, however it does move the plot forward. And since I have seen the third episode, “Jennings & Rall,” as well, I will say that “Condor” is a good transition between the first and third episode and sets up some new information.

My friend was telling me yesterday after he watched “Reconstruction” that he wanted Jericho to get away from the vendetta plotline and give us more of the overall picture, and I think that’s what tonight’s episode is, starting with meeting the President. Obviously, the town of Jericho is always the main story, but I think that season 2 is looking really good. It feels like they have a plan as to where they are going and that’s always reassuring as a fan.

Finally, the way I know that Jericho is well structured is that I rarely have any complaints about it, which I usually do, even on some of my favorite shows.

So thanks to Jericho’s fans, tonight we get another new episode. Don’t forget to tune in at 10pm on CBS.

JERICHO Review - “Reconstruction” (2×1)

January 30, 2008

JERICHO - Skeet Ulrich as Jake Green and Esai Morales as Major Beck in Season 2

The new season of JERICHO is almost upon us, and I was able to take an early look at the first episode.

I guess the question in everybody’s mind is: was Jericho worth saving?
My answer is: Yes.

But before you take my word for it, you should probably know that I was surprised when they cancelled it the first time around because I thought it was such an amazing show. After seeing the first episode, I can honestly say that if you were a fan previously, your love is only going to grow.

JERICHO - Ashley Scott as Emily Sullivan and Skeet Ulrich as Jake Green in Season 2

Well, Merry Christmas to me. Would you look at these first pictures from CBS’ JERICHO’s second season. Even though we won’t be getting much next year, it’s nice to know we will get Jericho back.

Above we see Jake (Skeet Ulrich) and Emily (Ashley Scott) embrace one another after all they have been through in the past couple of weeks after a bloody battle which their town was engaged in. Remember the famous “Nuts” line?

The first episode of the second season is schedule to air on February 12th. Until then, make sure to check three more pictures from Jericho’s second season below.

(I apologize for some of the shakiness but I was filming with my camera (not my video camera) and since it’s so light, it was hard to keep it steady.)
