Procedural Update: NCIS - “Judgment Day” (S05E18) Review
May 21, 2008
The two-hour season finale of NCIS, “Judgment Day,” was worth the wait. In tonight’s episode, the director thinks she is in danger and of course leaves her team behind to go after her “killer.”
The Good
The best part of the episode was the bickering between Ziva and Tony, man I love these two. Another exciting part of the night was that we finally found out who leaves the show *SPOILER ALERT* thankfully it’s not someone that would threaten the dynamic of the team, but unfortunately for Gibbs, it is Director Shepard who gets shot at the end of the episode, but not before killing her share of people - if she’s going down, you’re going down with her. I loved how the episode ends on Gibbs calling and DiNozzo answering the Director’s phone… and scene.
The Bad
I do wish we had seen more of the rest of the team, other than only Director Shepard, Ziva and Tony. I do understand why they did it that way, but since it was the two-hour finale, I was expecting more interaction with everybody else as well. Although I am curious to see everybody’s reaction to the episode’s event when NCIS returns in the Fall.
The Ugly
I can’t really think of anything. It was a really great finale and I didn’t even notice the time go by, which is always a good sign.
Overall, I am really looking forward to next season of NCIS. With the way tonight’s episode ended, the writers are going to have great material to work off of. And so I will end by saying, see you next Fall, NCIS!

NCIS - “Judgment Day” (S05E18) Pictures
May 20, 2008
Tonight is the night for NCIS, they have promised us that someone was going to die, and this is the point of no return. I still can’t figure out who it’s going to be because the only people that I would care about, I just can’t even bear the thought of them leaving. The good news is that tonight we are going to get a full 2-hour episode.
Don’t forget to watch NCIS “Judgment Day” tonight, May 20, at 8pm on CBS.

Procedural Update: NCIS - “About Face” (S05E17) Review
May 13, 2008
This week on NCIS “About Face”, Jimmy Palmer becomes the target of a mysterious killer who only he can recognize. Here is our review:
The Good
Kudos on giving our boy Jimmy Palmer a larger role in this episode. He’s actually pretty funny with good comedic timing (The hypnosis session was hilarious). More Jimmy Palmer, I say!
The Bad
Ok, I don’t get this business with the musical chair in the director’s office. Where the hell is Jenny? This really makes no sense anymore.
The Ugly
Huh, was it just me? Or was it not clear why *SPOILER ALERT* the two serbians committed the murder? Seriously, what was the point of the whole thing?!
Overall, this NCIS episode was ok, nothing to write home about except for Palmer funny antics.

NCIS - “Recoil” (S05E16) Pictures
May 5, 2008
NCIS “Recoil” is an episode that promises to show Ziva’s Mossad moves when she confronts a serial killer. Wow, I really would hate to be him.

Procedural Update: NCIS “In The Zone” (S05E15) Review
April 29, 2008
This week on NCIS “In The Zone”, Tony and Jardine go to Bagdad’s green zone to investigate a Marine’s murder. Here is our review of this NCIS episode:
The Good
It was a treat to see more of the character of Jardine. I always liked her character and wished that they would give her more screentime. Hopefully, this will resonate with the audience as well.
I also liked to see Ziva show her jealous side when Tony and Jardine are hanging out together in Iraq.
The Bad
The actual murder plot was a little too convoluted for my taste. There are plot holes as big as the grand canyon on this one. *SPOILER ALERT* Like how did the contractor manage to set up the elaborate plan to kill the marine? He’s a freaking contractor, not a military genius.
The Ugly
The story line of Jardine and the Iraqi kids was not believable. If your dad was killed by the US army while he was trying to help a US soldier, would you be all chummy with the sister of said-soldier. I know I am knit-picking but still
Overall, this NCIS episode was just slightly above average. It could have been improved if the murder plot was more believable.

April 29, 2008
In tonight’s NCIS episode, Tony stops playing around and really gets into action by going to investigate a murder in Iraq. Maybe he’s the character that is going to leave the show. I can’t imagine that. Tony Dead? I guess we will find out.

Procedural Update: NCIS “Internal Affairs” (S05E14) Review
April 22, 2008
This week on NCIS “Internal Affairs” the roles were reversed because the team was being investigated for the murder of La Grenouille. Here’s my review of this episode:
The Good
Ziva and Tony had the most cold-blooded lines of the episode:
- Ziva saying “Be a man” to Tony (When you know, she wishes he would be a man to her)
- Tony saying “No” when Jeanne asks him if he ever had feelings for her (when you know he really had feelings)
These are the moments in NCIS where I think the characters are truly shown for who they are, genuinely decent people who do not hesitate to sacrifice their emotions for the greater good. Just loved it.
The Bad
Ok, was it just me or did Jeanne just cave in a little too easily to Jenny’s interrogation? No offense, but Jenny’s no Gibbs.
The Ugly
Well, I really hated that….Hell, I can’t come up with anything. There was nothing to hate about this episode.
Overall, Stellar episode. Loved it!
What did you guys think?
