Privileged

Now that we have learned a little more about The CW’s new primetime schedule, it’s time to take a closer look at all of their new shows, next up PRIVILEGED.

From the preview clips and promo below, Privileged looks like an okay show, but not the show I am most excited about this Fall. Still, I’ll check out the pilot before making up my mind because I have been surprised in the past.

First Look: The CW’s 90210 - Picture & Video

May 21, 2008

90210

Now that we have learned a little more about The CW’s new primetime schedule, it’s time to take a closer look at all of their new shows, first up, 90210, which is, as you probably have guessed, a spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210.

Honestly, I have my doubts. It could either be good or bad. There is obviously going to be an interest in the show from the people who watched the original one and people who know about it, but 90210 will have to step up its game to keep people interested. I’ll hold off on my final judgment until I actually see a more extensive promo or take a look at the pilot. But for now you can check out the first promo video for 90210 below.

Synopsis: An edgy, contemporary spin-off of the iconic drama “Beverly Hills, 90210,” the new 90210 looks at life through the eyes of Annie Mills (Shenae Grimes) and her brother Dixon (Tristan Wilds), whose first day at West Beverly Hills High School leaves no doubt they’re not in Kansas anymore. The Mills family, including dad Harry and mom Debbie (Lori Loughlin), has relocated to Beverly Hills to keep an eye on Harry’s mother Tabitha (Jessica Walter), a feisty-but-faded former television star and a charter member of the Betty Ford Clinic. For Annie and Dixon, the awkwardness of being the new kids is made worse by the fact that their dad has taken a job as the high school principal. The school is one big culture shock for Annie, a sweet and friendly girl with a passion for the theater, and Dixon, a star athlete and scholar who was adopted by the Mills family after they took him in as a foster child. Annie and Dixon have a close sibling relationship, which they’ll need to help them cope with all the new cliques and classmates, including Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord), a hot, spoiled, rich girl; Ethan (Dustin Milligan), a popular jock whose abilities rival Dixon’s; Navid (Michael Steger), an aspiring reporter who heads up the school’s daily newscast; and Silver (Jessica Stroup), a rebel who produces and stars in a YouTube-type video series. Even the faculty seems hip and sophisticated at WBHHS, such as smart and funny teacher Ryan Matthews Ryan Eggold) and beautiful guidance counselor Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth). The Mills family has just begun to realize how much their lives are about to change.

Review: ONE TREE HILL “What Comes After The Blues” (S05E18)

May 20, 2008

Sophia Bush as Brooke, Chad Michael Murray as Lucas

Well, the night started off nicely for the last episode of ONE TREE HILL, “What Comes After The Blues,” with Gavin DeGraw singing the opening song with Jackson Brundage (Jamie). It made me love the song all over again.

And I’d like to first say: “I told you so!” Didn’t I say that they would end with Lucas calling someone on the phone and us not finding out who he called?! Man, I’m good, or maybe I’ve seen this type of ending done so much that nothing surprises me anymore.

Other than that the episode was ok, nothing too exciting. Brooke had to give the baby back, Mouth quit his job after proving he was who they were looking for, and Lucas was still struggling with the same issues.

One thing that I did not see coming right away was Dan getting run over, but the minute he stepped out onto the street, I was like “yeah, he’s getting run over” and boom. More than likely Dan will be back, after all, we need an “evil” character on the show, don’t we?

And so this is how One Tree Hill leaves us for the summer, but it will be back in Fall on The CW with all the answers to the questions we are dying to have answered.

ONE TREE HILL - “What Comes After The Blues” (S05E18) Pictures and Videos

May 19, 2008

Sophia Bush as Brooke, Chad Michael Murray as Lucas

One more finale tonight from ONE TREE HILL. I think we all know how this is going to end, if history has taught us anything is that they are going to end tonight’s episode with Lucas asking someone to come to Las Vegas with him, like they show in the promo, only we will not find out who he called until the Fall. I have a love/hate relationship with these types of endings. On the one side you want to know, but on the other side, it’s pretty exciting not to know. At least, I hope they make the episode good.

Don’t forget to watch One Tree Hill “What Comes After The Blues” tonight, May 19, at 9pm on The CW.

For now check out a promo, preview clip, and more pictures for One Tree Hill “What Comes After The Blues” below.

GOSSIP GIRL - “Much ‘I Do’ About Nothing” (S01E18) Pictures and Videos

May 19, 2008

Leighton Meester as Blair and Blake Lively as Serena

And GOSSIP GIRL comes to an end tonight. After the pretty lame story of Serena not actually killing anyone last week (did anyone else feel cheated by last week’s episode?), I really hope that this week they focus on bringing Georgina down. And Serena needs to get back to her smart self and get Dan back as well. Anyway, you better enjoy tonight’s drama because it’s going to have to last you all summer long.

So don’t forget to watch Gossip Girl “Much ‘I Do’ About Nothing” tonight, May 19, at 8pm on The CW.

For now check out a promo, preview clip, and more pictures for Gossip Girl “Much ‘I Do’ About Nothing” below.
