What did you think of GOSSIP GIRL "The Last Days of Disco Stick"?

Well the saying goes that three's a crowd, but I guess Vanessa, Olivia, and Dan didn't get the memo. Now it looks like Dan might have some lonely nights in store for him. I'm really bummed about all of this. I thought Dan and Olivia made a great couple. The idea of Dan with Vanessa is also sort of appealing, but the thought of Dan by himself really makes me sad. Who would you like to see Dan with?

I think Blair might have finally found her clique at NYU with this Tisch crowd. They seem like a bunch of pretentious idiots to me, but at least she has a group now. Maybe she'll even end up becoming closer with Dan and Vanessa which would be very entertaining. I wish that thing could be good with B and S again, but I know it will in time. Personally, I take B's side in the whole thing. When you try to help a friend from falling and they ignore your help, forget em.

Speaking of S, what the hell is she thinking? Okay, Tripp is really cute, but that is no excuse! Married is married. Tripp and S had the best/cheesiest quote of the night with:
Serena 'Nothing Happened'
Tripp 'Then why does it feel like it did'

Serena has had every opportunity to call things off with Tripp. Nate and Blair did the best they can do and in the end I guess she has a mind of her own. I hope they have enough sense to end it before it goes too far. I actually though that Nate and Serena were going to hook up for second there. I would have liked that to have happened more. Here's a question for you. Who do you think is the cutest, Nate or Tripp?

Finally, what is little J doing? She actually needed saving from Chuck Bass? That's when you know you've hit rock bottom. She's like Serena. She'd rather fall flat on her face they accept help or advice off anyone. I can't wait to find out where this is headed. Talk to you next week! XOXO.

GOSSIP GIRL "The Last Days of Disco Stick" Season 3 Episode 10

What did you think of tonight's episode of Gossip Girl, 'They Shoot Humphrey's, Don't they'?

After reading some of your comments last week, I agree that the sudden change in Chuck's character is probably mostly due to all the stuff he's been through lately. So tonight, when he was trying to get S and B to make nice, I was willing to cut him a little more slack. I'm happy that S and B are back to being friends as well. I feel like the balance of the show has been restored.

This episode was filled with so much plotting, drama, and jaw dropping moments I felt like we were back in season 1. First let's talk about the threesome with Dan, Olivia, and Vanessa. That is going to be one AWKWARD breakfast after Olivia checks her text messages. I can just picture it now, 'Hey Vanessa, you know how we had a threesome with Dan because you thought I was leaving for London tomorrow? We'll guess what; I'm still going to be your roommate'. This is going to be so awesome; I can't wait for next Monday.

Now let's talk about little J. Does anybody think she makes a better queen than Blair? I don't, and I'm looking forward to Eric and Kira taking her down. I do have to give her props for turning that Epic fail with Graham into something positive with Nate. That girl always makes the mistake of getting on the wrong side of Blair, but somehow she always lands on her feet.

Lastly, we have Serena and Blair. I really enjoyed watching the scene in the elevator. I thought Serena did something she should have done a long time ago by finally confiding in Blair everything that she's been going thorough. I think it was important for Blair to hear about what's been going on with Serena's search for her dad. That's one thing I really like about B, S, C, and N. They can fight with each other but they are also there for one another when it counts. I think Serena was dumb for submitting her resignation in the middle of the night when she was alone with Trip and even more stupid for dismissing Blair when she was trying to help. I hope she's careful moving forward. Lastly, we saw Lily with a letter from Serena's dad. Will she keep the letter from Serena? Was this the first letter, or has Lily been hiding them all this time?

New Lady Gaga Photo on GOSSIP GIRL Season 3

What did you think of tonight's episode of Gossip Girl "The Grandfather Part II"?

I'm not sure who I am in love with more: Blair or Chuck. What do you think? Blair had the best quote of the night with "I need a friend, STAT". Chuck, on the other hand, rocked a bowtie with a side-part and has the voice of batman. These two are by far the most awesome duo currently on TV.

So even though Blair picked up a new blonde tonight and Serena a new brunette, I think their friendship is going to be okay. I was disappointed to see them fighting so much and Blair was childish for not accepting Serena's apology.

However, Blair did make a good point at the party. This whole time, it's appeared like Blair is the one that hasn't' moved on since high school. However, as Blair pointed out, Serena is still caught up in silly drama and hasn't gone to college. Hopefully now that Serena has quit her job there will be better things in her future. Whose side would you pick between Serena and Blair?

I still think they have changed Chuck's character too drastically in such a short period of time. I mean 2 seasons ago he was trying to date rape Jenny and tonight he is the one giving out the mature friendship advice? It seems a bit far-fetched, but I still love him.

I continue to like Olivia, even despite the whole 'bathroom' boy thing. I thought Dan was sweet at the end with his surprise to Olivia. It would have been crazy if he actually got mad over the interview with Fallon.

Lastly, it appears that there is more to Nate and Trip's wife than meets the eye. It was nice of Nate to take the fall and help Trip win the election. Trip actually seems like a good person.

I was also happy to see that Vanessa got her morals back and did the right thing with her video footage. I wonder what is next for Trip and his wife?

Lady Gaga Photo on GOSSIP GIRL Season 3

What did you think of tonight's episode of Gossip Girl, "How To Succeed At Bassness"?

First off, I have to say that I LOVED the Kiss pumpkins that Rufus carved. It was also sweet of Lily to do something nice for Rufus tonight. I was getting so sick of her always getting her way that it was refreshing to see this side of her.

I was also happy to see that Chuck forgave Blair for what she did in the last Gossip Girl episode. However, I wonder when his forgiveness is going to run out? It seems like she can't stop herself from trying to mess up their relationship these days. Going to Jack Bass for help was pretty low, even for her. I like how they turned the whole situation into a positive by getting some press from the ordeal. I still find it amusing that Bass continues to be the good, responsible one while Blair is the manipulative one. I love Chuck's idea for the member's only club.

The whole mess with Serena and Blair seems pretty juvenile. I hope they don't drag this out into a big feud between the two because I think they both over reacted. How do you think things will go between Serena and Patrick?

The Dan/Olivia plot is still interesting. I love all the Twilight references. I mean Patrick Roberts/Robert Pattinson; I have to admit that is pretty funny. I really hope Dan and Olivia last; I think they are very cute together.

Jenny was so wrong tonight. If she is the "Queen Bee", can't she just make Eric and his boyfriend cool and then it won't be a big deal if she is nice to him? I don't get it because they were friends before she was made Queen and they are step siblings now, so why wouldn't they be able to be publically friendly now? It seems a little dumb to me.

Also where was Vanessa tonight? I would have liked to see more of Nate too. Until next week, XoXo!

GOSSIP GIRL "How To Succeed in Bassness" Season 3 Episode 7

What did you think of tonight's episode of Gossip Girl, "Enough about Eve”? I enjoyed this episode way more than last week's.

I can't believe what a bad person Vanessa is turning into! First, she lies to Dan the other week when Georgina blackmails her, and then she lies to Dan and Olivia tonight to get the speech at the parent's dinner. Since when is she a mean girl? Vanessa needs to be careful. She's on a slippery slope to become the worst thing since Blair Waldorf. I just can't understand how a speech at a parent's dinner could be more important than your best friend or roommate? The worst moment though, is when her mom walked in on conversation with Dan and Olivia. CRINGE!

Also, what did everyone think of Vanessa's mom? A little intense, right? I think she was right, Vanessa should really take a look at the type of person college is turning her into. I hope Vanessa is able to turn things around for herself. The last scene where she and Blair were sitting alone at the café made me feel like the two are a match made in heaven.

Now let's talk about Blair. Wow does she have a lot of explaining to do. Tricking your boyfriend into kissing another man to get what you want is a big no-no; especially when you accidentally publicly humiliate him afterward at a fancy dinner. And since when is Chuck the nice one? Here's one thing I don't like about Gossip Girl: they have perpetuated the lie that you can turn the bad boy into the boyfriend. Blair transformed Chuck into a decent, loving boyfriend, and Serena has had the same effect on Carter. That is just not the way things work.

I still am enjoying Olivia and Dan as a couple and am looking forward to see how things progress.

GOSSIP GIRL "Enough About Eve" Season 3 Episode 6

What did everyone think of tonight’s episode of Gossip Girl “Rufus Getting Married”? Personally, I was a little disappointed…scrap that, I was very disappointed.

I’m sick of Georgina, I’m sick of Nate and Brie, and I’m sick of nobody knowing about Scott. Thankfully, all that crap should be behind us now after "Rufus Getting Married".

Also, shame on you Sonic Youth. Your appearance on Gossip Girl was even more epically shameful than Alkaline Trio’s appearance on "The Hills". Have you bands no shame? You are so much better than that. Sonic Youth helped to ignite the alternative rock movement so why make a guest appearance on a show where you join the ranks of Tyra Banks and Hillary Duff? Also, Kim Gordon is looking increasingly like Iggy Pop. Ick!

Anyway, now that I have gotten all that off my chest, I’ll try to be more positive. After all, it looks like Carter might be getting a good ole fashion arse whoop’n and Georgina might be gone for awhile. I love how Blair always comes through in the end to extinguish the Georgina problem. What I don’t understand is why people put up with Georgina in the first place. Even Vanessa let herself get blackmailed by her for a long time before she came clean to Dan. First of all, she should have told Dan the truth immediately. Secondly, after what Georgina did to Rufus and Lily, why didn’t somebody politely take her to the side and beat the crap out of her? Where is the justice?

Another person that got on my nerves in "Rufus Getting Married" (Sorry I’m having a hard time being positive tonight) is Lily. She was SO rude to Scott! Even when she finally learned the truth, she didn’t come off as a mom meeting her son for the first time. Also, if you are having trouble coming up with vows even up to the day of your wedding, maybe you shouldn’t be with that person. I give Rufus and Lily 2 months.

Finally I’m looking forward to seeing what the writers do with Nate's character now that Brie appears to be gone. I didn't like them together, so hopefully they do something more interesting with his character now. Maybe he’ll hook up with Vanessa again? Who would you like to see him with? Tyra Banks guest stars as Ursula, an actress co-starring in Olivia's movie and someone who Serena (Blake Lively) befriends.

GOSSIP GIRL "Dan De Fleurette" Season 3 Episode 4

I recently checked out the latest GOSSIP GIRL episode called "Dan De Fleurette." Although it doesn't air until Monday Oct 5th, I was able to check it out a little early. Here's what you have to look forward to in regards to our favorite characters:

Jenny - Starts her first day of school. As you can remember from the end of last season she was named queen of the school by Blair. In this episode you'll find out if she'll rule as Blair did, or do things her own way.

Blair – Although she's still struggling to fit in at NYU, she may have found her clique (with the help of Chuck). I'm still hoping she'll rise to the top again. I love a good comeback story.

Vanessa – Her new roommate finally moves in and actually seems pretty cool.

Dan – Dan meets a potential love interest, who also seems pretty cool.

Lily – She finally returns home from taking care of her mom only to realize that Serena isn't going to Brown. It's great to have Lily back, I've missed her!

Serena – She decides to do something productive on her year off before college.

Aside from this you will also get treated to a couple guest stars in "Dan De Fleurette". The first is Hilary Duff (check out pictures here). I always been sort of neutral on Hilary, but I have to say I thought she was great in this episode. I'm actually hoping she'll be in the remaining episodes this season. The other guest star I'm sorry to say is Tyra Banks (check out pictures here). Really Gossip Girl? You are better than that. In my opinion Banks over acted in most of the scenes she was in. I hope she is NOT in any more episodes this season.

All in all I'd have to say it's a solid show. I would have liked to see more on the whole Scott/Georgina thing but I guess we will all have to wait till next time. Until then...xoxo

GOSSIP GIRL "Dan De Fleurette" Early Review (Season 3 Episode 4)

What did everyone think of tonight's episode of GOSSIP GIRL, "The Lost Boy"?

I think Dan needs to get as far away from Georgina as possible. Hopefully Dan will stick to his guns but I don't think Georgina is going to let go so easily. Did anyone else like how she had a pic of Dan and herself as her computer wallpaper? I can't understand who would want anything to do with her after what she's done in the past. I can't imagine what she has up her sleeve by going to visit Scott in Boston. That should be very interesting.

On the other hand, a common theme this season seems to be that people can change. Chuck and Carter have both been pleasantly surprising me this season; however, this situation with Georgina is way different. Also, speaking of Carter, does anyone have any good insights to share on that last scene?

So, it looks like I've been wrong about Scott being evil. He came somewhat clean this episode and it appears that his intentions have been honest. I still don't get why he lied about not being's Rufus and Lily's son. I'm guessing he was feeling guilt based on the conversation with his mom, but that didn't seem to bother him when he decided to move to New York. I hope Vanessa tells everyone the truth right away.

Blair and Chuck continue to make a cute couple. I was hoping that the secret society would be real and Blair could find her way back to the elite again. I hope Chuck is successful in his hotel venture, although it seems like a huge commitment.

One thing I'd like to learn more about this season in the deal with Serena's dad. "The Lost Boy" didn't really give us much to work with, other than that he's getting remarried. Also, speaking of missing parents, when do you think Lily will rejoin the season? I'd also like to see more of Jenny. So far they haven't done anything with her character. Episode Synopsis: GOSSIP GIRL "The Lost Boy" Season 3 Episode 3 - It’s an Upper East Side face-off when Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) both set their sights on a particular item up for bid at Sotheby’s and the personal stakes are high. Serena (Blake Lively) suspects that Carter (guest star Sebastian Stan) may be up to his old habits, Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) takes an interest in Dan (Penn Badgley), and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) begins to suspect that something isn’t quite right with Scott (guest star Chris Riggi). Chace Crawford, Taylor Momsen and Matthew Settle also star. Jean DeSegonzac directed the episode written by Robert Hull.

GOSSIP GIRL "The Lost Boy" Season 3 Episode 3

What did you think of tonight's episode of GOSSIP GIRL, "The Freshmen"? I for one breathed a sigh of relief. When high school kids go to college on TV it can often be the kiss of death (although I for one loved Saved By The Bell: The College Years). However, Gossip Girl appears to be pulling it off quite well. They've done this by having everyone stick to what they're good at. Blair is still trying to rule the roost, Serena still has issues, Dan is still a nerd (which in college makes you the cool guy), and Chuck still has the best outfits.

The only difference might be that Chuck is actually morally decent this season and Blair is a social outcast. I love Chuck's idea for the speak-easy, and he actually had Serena's best interests in heart. Plus anybody that can wear a purple shirt, purple tie, and suspenders so well can't be bad. I've always said that.

Blair on the other hand, has her work cut out for her. Do you think college will change her? Will she become a nerd to fit in, or keep trying her old games? It seems like she'll need more than Dorota and a killer party to make it at NYU. I was cheering for her to succeed with the party. I think Georgina is playing Blair, and I'd rather see Blair on top. Maybe she can use her friendship with it girl Serena to make waves at NYU? I am really disgusted by Dan and Georgina hooking up. Sick! It was bad enough the first time it happened.

So what is everyone's take on Scott? He had a weird moment there at the party. I want him to be cool for Dan and Vanessa's sake but something tells me he's crazy.

Serena continues to annoy me this season. She messes up things for Chuck, blows off college, and hooks up with Carter. All because daddy doesn't love her? Waaa waaa. I'd love to see her get cut off her money and have to fend for herself. Talk to you next week. Xoxo.

Episode Synopsis: GOSSIP GIRL "The Freshmen" Season 3 Episode 2 - Blair (Leighton Meester), who is determined to maintain her Queen status in college, embarks on her first day at NYU, along with Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). Unfortunately, Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg) turns up as Blair’s roommate in the dorms, determined to make Blair a social outcast. As Serena (Blake Lively) prepares to depart for Brown, she and Chuck (Ed Westwick) have a major falling out, so she recruits Chuck’s enemy, Carter (guest star Sebastian Stan), to help her get even. Nate (Chace Crawford) and Bree (guest star JoAnna Garcia) decide to explore their relationship further, knowing full well it could cause tension between their families who are political rivals. Taylor Momsen and Matthew Settle also star. Norman Buckley directed the episode written by Amanda Lasher.
