The Amazing Race

THE AMAZING RACE 12 “I’ve Become The Archie Bunker Of The Home” - 8pm CBS
After some convincing from my friend, I gave The Amazing Race a chance. The verdict: It was not as fun as I thought it would be. The contestants were very boring and turns out my friend even told me that they were not as entertaining as previous years. Still, I’ll give it another shot to convince me. If not…delete from my DVR…forever!

Dexter

DEXTER “That Night, A Forest Grew” - 9pm Showtime
I am so proud of myself because I watched three episodes this week and even though I am not up to date, I am only one episode behind and will be caught up by tonight. This season is really good so far, but I have to admit that Lila bugs the heck out of me. I like Dexter so much better with Rita. Only time will tell how all of this is going to turn out.

Desperate Housewives

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES “You Can’t Judge A Book By Its Cover” - 9pm ABC
Last episode had such a sweet moment when Danielle gave birth to her baby, you could see that she did care in the end, no matter what she said. I wonder how the whole birth is going to be explained to Wisteria Lane, are they going to say Bree finally had the baby? But since we know secrets never get buried for long, it’s only a matter of time for people to find out whose baby it really is.

Family Guy

FAMILY GUY “Lois Kills Stewie” - 9pm FOX
After last week’s pretty crazy episode “Stewie Kills Lois” it’s time to turn the tables around and for Lois to go after Stewie. Come on Stewie, you knew the showdown would happen one day. Make sure you check out some clips from “Lois Kills Stewie” here (they are after the clips from “Stewie Kills Lois”), as well as some pictures here.

American Dad

AMERICAN DAD “Haylias” - 9:30pm FOX
Sometimes I can’t decide if American Dad is more outrageous than Family Guy. Each show has their own “interesting” characters. And I cannot profess my love for Klaus enough. I wish they would give him more to do than just swim around.

Brothers & Sisters

BROTHERS & SISTERS “36 Hours” - 10pm ABC
Ever since I saw the previews for this week’s episode, I have been looking forward to it. Why? Because tonight is the night when Justin gets confronted to his addiction by his family. We all knew that was coming and those episodes are always so emotional, I love them. And with a family like the Walkers, they never fail to deliver.

Dexter

DEXTER “An Inconvenient Lie” - 9pm Showtime
I just remembered that I still have last week’s Dexter to watch. With all the shows on my DVR, Dexter is all the way at the bottom and I think I might have overlooked it when picking which TV show to watch next. Well, I guess I know what I’m watching tomorrow.

Desperate Housewives

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES “The Game” - 9pm ABC
I am liking the Bree and Katherine “war,” plus from the looks of it, Bree might have found out the new neighbors’ secret. So far I am really liking the new season of Desperate Housewives, even more than last season. Oh and how evil is Eddie? Poor Carlos, I would want to kill her too.

Family Guy

FAMILY GUY “Boys Do Cry” - 9pm FOX
Family Guy is always a fun show to watch. Like I always say, I am surprised at how outrageous each episode is, but I love it. They always surprise me.

American Dad

AMERICAN DAD “Dope And Faith” - 9:30pm FOX
Did I mention I really like Klaus (the German fish)? American Dad has another way of doing outrageous things which is why it’s fun to watch it in addition to Family Guy.

Brothers & Sisters

BROTHERS & SISTERS “History Repeating” - 10pm ABC
Last week was such a wonderful episode. Now that Justin is back, I find the show all of a sudden more interesting… I wonder why ;-)

Note: I have yet to watch the pilot for Life Is Wild, but I’m thinking of giving it up altogether.

Daemon's Choice

Life Is Wild

LIFE IS WILD “Pilot” - 8pm the CW
Life Is Wild premieres tonight and 1) I haven’t seen much about the show 2) the little that I did see didn’t look very good. They did change some of actors, but I’m not sure this show is a winner. I’m going to tune in just to check out the pilot, but from the looks of it, Life Is Wild is trying to be a mix between 7th Heaven and Everwood and I’m not sure that’s going to work.
Story: Katie Clarke may never forgive her veterinarian father, Danny, for dragging their entire blended family out of New York City to spend a year living in a broken-down lodge called The Blue Antelope in a game reserve deep inside South Africa. Everyone in the family is sure Danny has lost his mind. But Danny’s reasons go beyond his desire to keep his troubled family together while making a difference in the lives of the people and animals of South Africa: his deceased first wife Claire grew up at The Blue Antelope and it’s still home to her reclusive father Art.

Dexter

DEXTER “Waiting To Exhale” - 9pm Showtime
After watching the first season this summer, Dexter has become one of my favorite TV shows (read my Dexter review here) and with a great beginning of the second season last week, tonight is likely to be another great episode of our favorite serial killer.

Side Order Of Life

SIDE ORDER OF LIFE “Nothing Left to Lose” & “Funeral for a Phone” - 9pm & 10pm Lifetime
Double Side Order Of Life tonight as well as the season finale. If you have seen the preview for next week, it looks like Brian (Ian Ziering) might not be our dear cell phone man after all. I am so sad Side Order Of Life is over after tonight, they better bring it back next summer, I need my Ian time…

Desperate Housewives

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES “Smiles Of A Summer Night” - 9pm ABC
Desperate Housewives is always a fun show to watch on Sundays. With last week’s premiere, it looks like the new neighbors brought more than furniture with them. I am officially curious about this season’s mystery.

Family Guy

FAMILY GUY “Believe It Or Not, Joe’s Walking On Air” - 9pm FOX
When my friends first told me about Family Guy, I didn’t really want to watch it, but they lent me the first season so I thought I would give it a try. I have been a fan ever since. It’s one of the few cartoons that actually makes me laugh out loud. It’s so fun to have it back.

American Dad

AMERICAN DAD “Meter Made” - 9:30pm FOX
After liking Family Guy so much, I had to watch American Dad. Now it’s on my schedule as well. This TV show has its characters who all have weird sides, it can be pretty funny.

Brothers & Sisters

BROTHERS & SISTERS “An America Family” - 10pm ABC
The Walker family is back tonight. I know one of my friends is jumping up and down right now. Every week he emails me to tell me how good Brothers & Sisters is. It is a good show, but I’m just not as excited to watch Brothers & Sisters as I am to watch Moonlight for instance. Still, it brings joy to my Sunday nights.

Dexter

DEXTER “It’s Alive!” - 9pm Showtime
Our favorite serial killer is back! It seems he just left… maybe it’s because he literally just left for me (if you have read my review of Dexter, then you know I just finished watching the first season two days ago.) Either way, I am so glad I will get to see the new adventures of Dexter tonight. And for those who are not on the Dexter train yet, what are you waiting for?

Side Order Of Life

SIDE ORDER OF LIFE “Aliens” - 9pm Lifetime
Last week was the big reveal of who cell phone man was, none other than Ian Ziering (check out some pictures here) how cool is that? In tonight’s episode, Jenny and cell phone man Brian are on their first “official” date. This show is just so cute, it puts me in a good mood when I watch it. Did I mention I want Ian and Jenny back together?…Yes I did, I have been mentioning it the last few weeks… well, I still do.

Desperate Housewives

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES “Now You Know” - 9pm ABC
Desperate Housewives starts a whole new season tonight. I like Desperate Housewives, but am not as excited about the new season as I have been for past seasons. What I am excited about is seeing Nathan Fillion in his new role as a Desperate Husband.

Family Guy

FAMILY GUY “Movin’ Out (Brian’s Song)” - 9pm FOX
With last week’s episode of Family Guy, it’s safe to say that the show is back in full force! I am so surprised at some of the stuff FOX lets Family Guy do. Not that I dislike it, but it’s so outrageous sometimes I wonder if FOX is going to cut to that big ball from the Emmys.

American Dad

AMERICAN DAD “Vacation Goo” - 9:30pm FOX
Even though American Dad is not as funny as Family Guy, it has its moments. My favorite character is Klaus, the german fish, he cracks me up.

Brothers & Sisters

BROTHERS & SISTERS “Home Front” - 10pm ABC
I know someone who’s happy this show is back tonight (*coughPhilippcough*). The Walkers are back with new stories that will make use laugh and cry. It was one of the surprises from last season for me, I didn’t expect to like it but after watching the pilot, I entered the Walker clan and became a member.

THE REST

EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION “Akana Family” - 8pm ABC
I have never watched this show, but it actually sounds fun. I just don’t have time or space on my DVR to record it, plus it’s a reality show, which means it goes to the bottom of my list. Still, it’s back and I’m sure lots of people are going to be happy to get a Home Makeover.

BROTHERHOOD “One Too Many Mornings 3:4-8″ - 10pm Showtime
I never got into that show, I don’t even think I finished the pilot. I was probably not in the mood for that type of show at the time. It’s too bad because I really like Jason Isaacs who plays one of the main characters, Michael Caffee. I mean come on the man is Lucius Malfoy for crying out loud. How did this conversation get to Harry Potter again?

Also tonight, Cold Case (9pm CBS), Shark (10pm CBS).
